Dirty room and dishonest host ”

When we arrived the flat was extremely dirty and looked like someone had just checked out before and no one had cleaned it. We had to ask several times for someone to come and clean it. The microwave oven was dirty, the glass behind the sink was full of brown stuff, the fridge was in a gross state, the bathroom was dirty with hair everywhere. In general, the flat was not up to standard to be rented out. I’ve read other reviews about your flats and most are about cleanliness, so make sure you clean the flat when others check out. The place was missing so many things, we actually had to go out and buy extra forks, knives and spoons after several requests to the host who said they would bring things but never did. The induction stove top wouldn’t work as the host gave us incorrect cookware to use... ones that weren’t suitable to induction stoves. No one was prompt anytime we had a problem, it always took 2 days for them to honour our requests or to fix things. When we booked the host asked if we wanted a tv which would be an extra $50, we agreed and said yes would like it. However, when we arrived, there was no tv to be seen, and again we had to ask the host over 2 or 3 days to connect the tv as we paid an extra fee to have it. Days later, someone came to connect the tv but never brought the remote... we asked for it again and nothing. Anyway, the tv didn’t even work, we turned it on from the tv itself and wasn’t connected to anything so in the end we payed an extra $50 for a tv that came days later and didn’t work throughout our whole trip. We asked for the $50 back as we thought it wasn’t fair to pay for a service that didn’t work. The host however now still owes us that money and won’t return it to us. With excuses being made everyday saying her and her staff are out of town. It’s $50, just give it back you cheaters. Wouldn’t recommend to stay here. Definitely not worth the inconvenience.

Check in took us about 1 hour, because the host provided the wrong address (in agoda it says vinhomes 6a, but the tower is actually landmark 5, which is a 5min walk away), after that the host provided the wrong Apartment number and three times (!!) the wrong password for the door. Each time we had to go up to 35th floor with all our luggage. As we finally arrived in the apartment it turned out that it hadnt been cleaned properly (there were many black hairs on the floor and the fridge was full of stuff people left there). Besides that there was no toilet paper, tricky situation if you arrive at 11pm... The next day we bought toilet paper and a broom to sweep the place ourselves. Except the mentioned downsides, which would stop me from booking this place ever again, the apartment was fine: good aircon, good wifi, smart tv with netflix, well equipped kitchen.

General: Pro: The room was good located, well equipped and very silent. Contra: when I went into the room some towels hang on a chair, in the rooms has been a lot of long black hairs on the floor, in the bathroom there was still stuff from the people before me (an used toothbrush on the lavatory). Context: I contacted the host about that and got the reply that it will be cleaned up the next day. The next day got cleaned until I moved out of the flat. Location: it's a bit outside the center but reachable within 10 min by taxi (15 - 20.000 VND). Definitly recommendable (when it's cleaned up)!
