This is was our first stay arriving from the airport, and we thought the location was perfect, bed was comfy and it was all pretty clean and had everything we needed! Would definitely stay again; and recommend to anyone looking for decent value for money accommodation which is an easy distance from the main attractions around Singapore.

AVOID! ”
Do not visit this hostel. Me and my girlfriend stayed for 5 nights. During our stay we were the only other guest we saw. We entered into the main reception which was a tiny room which immediately stunk and was filled with men sleeping on the floor/couch at 11am. We were shown to our bed which was fine. The hostel is presumably ran/lived in by 10+ men who stay up untill early hours of tge morning (5/6am) playing music and cooking. To get to the toilets you have to walk through the reception room where they all live and they treat you like you are intruding ratter than a paying guest. My girlfriend was constantly starred at and we were both made to feel very uncomfortable so spent as much time out the hostel as possible. As there is 10 men living there all their luggage was everywhere with barely an inch to move. They would leave the bathroom in a mess with hairs all over the sink and not a single part was cleaned during our 5 night stay. SOLO FEMALES DO NOT STAY HERE. It is not safe one bit and something very strange is going on. Overall is ran by some vile people who are not fit to run anything. Only positive was one girl who worked there who would always say hello. 1/10, a very vile and dangerous place to stay and please avoid as there is something very strange going on here.

The bed itself was comfy and private enough but I wasn’t provided with a sheet so was cold all night. The bathroom was absolutely gross. Toothpaste splatters on the mirror that hadn’t been cleaned for god knows how long, sinks dirty. Shower was ok but has no where to put wash materials. There was clutter everywhere.

This place is not what it sells to be. This is not a hostel but a temporary resident for foreign workers. The whole place is dirty, cluttered and falling apart. The reservations are not respected, we arrived and had no capsule reserved. Loud and noisy until pass midnight. We ended up leaving after 2 nights. Not recommended at all, better to get an IBIS or something for the same or close price and be 10000% better.

Clean boutique hostel with wonderful staff!”
Vintage Inn is a boutique hostel that's a little nontraditional in the sense that guests sleep in capsules. The staff are extremely friendly and wonderful! The hostel is quite new and very well kept. Everything was consistently clean and the facilities are very efficient in terms of space and design. The capsules themselves are spacious (can comfortably sit up) with storage space around the mattress, hooks/hangers, lights, international power sockets and built in lockers with locks. The capsule design is very sturdy with thick walls and as a result, provides more privacy and peace. Although we were in a room full of other people, conversations taking place in other capsules and snoring at night came across as no more than mere muffles. A simple hot breakfast and coffee/tea is also included and is prepared for you when you show up in the kitchen in the morning. It's not anything special but certainly satisfying and a good start to your day. Did I mention complimentary WiFi? Yep! And only a 100m or so from the MRT. For $50/night (double bed) with airport pick up and breakfast included, it was a great deal, especially in Singapore! We definitely recommend Vintage Inn! :)

Great experience with amazing staff”
We (my girlfriend and myself) stayed in a double capsule for 3 nights. We were picked up at the airport by the very welcoming and highly informing Shan. He fed us all we needed to know about Singapore and surrounding areas. Vinoth then greeted us at reception and showed us the hostel setup, also giving us a map and showing us all the hot spots and how to get around. Vick was also really helpful with directions too. We also sat at the table in front of reception one night chatting with him for a couple of hours, he along with the rest of the lads really made you feel like you were at home. The bed was comfortable, the capsule was big enough so it did not feel claustrophobic at all. Rooms were very clean etc. Noise was not a big issue as they ask people to keep it down after 10pm. They have 2 computers with great wifi too. Bathrooms are compact but all you need, and clean. Location is ideal if you want to stay in little india, if you want to be more in town, its either a very short train ride (the MRT station is a 1 min walk from the hostel), or a pretty long walk. All in all the hostel was great. What the boys are trying to do is pretty remarkable. Their extremely friendly and accommodating vibe makes your stay that much more special. Myself and my girlfriend highly recommend the Vintage inn, if not for the capsule experience, just to meet some good guys!

Great location and value”
My wife and I recently stayed four nights at the Vintage Inn and were very happy with the experience. Traveling on a budget in Singapore can be difficult and staying at the Vintage Inn made it much, much easier. The Vintage Inn is a 4 minute walk to the MRT, which basically means the city is at your fingertips, and it's a 5 minute walk to the Little India hawker center, where you can eat cheap, INCREDIBLE food for all three meals. It's a great home base. This was our first stay in a hostel or pod hotel, and the double bed was all we needed. (And with earplugs we didn't find our sleep was disturbed at all by other guests.) The linens and towels don't really get changed, and breakfast doesn't start until somewhat later in the morning (I want to say 8:30am, though you may want to check on that if it's a deal breaker), but we didn't find either of those to be an issue. Highly recommend!
