A great location for Paris. ”
The room was extremely tiny for 4 adults but we managed. Given how expensive Paris accommodation is it was pretty reasonable for the time of year. It is a little awkward with the stairs to get to the lift and then to the room with your luggage but this is the nature of old buildings. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable add the excellent location 7 minutes from Gare du Nord I would stay here again.

Cheap hostel with cheap facilities , cheap everything!”
The economy room is awful!! Not well lit. Full room has only 3 lights. And all located near window and bed..The picture shown in website is daytime, kinda misleading. So when u want to get organize ur luggage, it’s very dark. When u want to use the full mirror which is behind the door, u have to use ur own torch light. The bed is two single bed combine. But the mattress is too soft that you ll fall into the gap in between when u just Try to turn to side! No table lamp! Toilet too small! People above 180cm will have problem breathing. It’s like a prison cell. The lift is too small, it can only fit 1 person with 1 luggage only! and the lift is intergrate to the staircase that anyone could fall due to no sufficient landing space! The reception is same open space with the pantry with no exhaust system. It’s very smelly every time walk in! The breakfast is cheap ass smelly croissant that I must dip it with hot choc to be able to swallow.

Unsuitable for Couples/Families”
Were there during the peak of winters and were told that the heating system is not working - they offered to give us more blankets! The room was very small and claustrophobic. To top it off, when we went over and politely mentioned the issues, the staff seemed to be excessively rude and arrogant. We immediately looked for other options around, booked a room in another property, packed our bags and left. Loss of money was nothing compared to the horror of staying at this dungeon.

Good stay for budget traveler”
Location is good, near to Gare du Nord & Paris l'East. I arrived on the day there was a metro strike, imagine how thankful I was to stay close to station and food is available within walking distance. The room and toilet/shower is small so a bit crampy. The beds are squeaky and doors are banging, so if you are light sleeper, do consider twice or bring ear plugs. Staff is helpful and speak English. Luggage can be stored after check-out for free and there is bathroom in the basement if you need to freshen up. The dining area and lobby area are spacious and relaxing, good to chill in when I felt to stay in.

Convenient Location”
Everyone knows that unless it is a major Train station in Paris, there is no elevator or escalator for commuter convenience especially when you have luggages. I chose this place because it is close to Gare du Nord whether you came from a flight or an interregional train and off course, for its escalators and elevator. The hostel is clean with convenient location and it makes it a good start off point to anywhere.

Spent 3 nights while exploring Paris. A short walk to Gare du Nord. Close to Metro, cafes, bars and shops. Our hotel room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly, patient and helpful. Our room was small but it worked. Good bathroom and comfortable bed. Free WiFi. Would definitely stay again.

Great value for your money”
Took the Eurostar from London to Paris Gare du Nord. This hotel was a few minutes walk from the station with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. It is also a walking distance to Montmarte and Sacre Coeur which is a plus! We came way before check in time but they already had our room ready which we were so grateful for since we were tired. Otherwise, they can keep your luggage for you until check in time. You do have to walk a flight of stairs before you can take the lift which can only fit 2 people maximum.

About 10 mins walk from Paris Gare du Nord station (in front there's Mc Donald's and Burger King), 10 mins walk to the nearest Metro station Anvers. 15 mins walk to Sacre Coeur. There were restaurants and pharmacy nearby. We booked a double private room, with aircon, no tv, bathroom amenities includes towel, soap & shower gel only. Shower too small. lf you forget to bring a travel adaptor, you can buy from them at Eur 6.00. There is a common kitchen that you can use. Nice staff.

We stayed here with my friend over the weekend. The hostel is well-located, within walking distance from Gare du Nord. The double economy room was small but clean and warm and had everything you need (towels, shower gel, hairdryer). We got very good tips on things to do around from a very professional and outgoing receptionist Martin. I loved my stay here.

Mostly young people staying here although there were a few oldies like me there as well. A 5 minute walk to Gare du Nord or a couple of minutes to Anvers. it is ideally located for transport and eating places.. Like many Paris hotels, you need to walk up half a storey to catch the lift then up or down half a storey when you reach your level (only in Paris).

A few minutes walk from metro stations. Within 10 minutes walk from Gare du Nord station. Very convenient location with close proximity to the Montmartre area ( a few minutes walk) and the Basilica of the Sacré Cœur. Many cafes around. Clean and comfortable bed. Room, carpet, bathroom are old and worn though. But then, it's the "Vintage" Hostel. Tiny shower - around 26" by 21"... Yes! 2 inches wider and thicker than my body! With all of these, it's still very fine for a budget hostel.
