Vissai Saigon... a hotel with a heart!”
I booked Vissai Saigon Hotel Double Deluxe room through Agoda. I mentioned in the comment section that it is our (my hubby and I) first time to visit Vietnam and we are celebrating our pre-wedding anniversary and perhaps they can book us on a higher floor with a nice view. We never expected for a super upgrade from double deluxe to an Executive Suite!!! Wow!!! It is truly a one of a kind anniversary!!! Thank you so much Vissai Saigon... a hotel with a heart!

The hotel is ok, it is very conveniently close to airport. It is inside the business district of saigon, hence it is more prone to attract business travelers, not young tourists like me and my husband. The front desk staffs were overall ok, but I didn'tlike the girl sitting at the tourist info desk. She seemed to have an attitude toward non-business traveler like me ormy husband.o Never smiled nor greeted us for the 5 days we've stayed there. She was not helpful with us either. When inquiring about motorbike rental, she directed me to Pham Ngu Lao District, which was on the other side of the city and for which I had no resource. That's it. No recommendations, not even a phone number provided. Most hotels in Vietnam are more than willing to help book these rentals for me, but this one is not helpful at all. This hotel should be more helpful with more tourism directories. As a tourist, I wouldn't stay here again next time I visit due to the lack of help for semi-backpacker like myself who would like to ride a motorbike to tour Ho Chi Minh City, but still be able to sleep and stay comfortably.

Very comfortable, excellent room, good service!”
I really enjoyed my stay at the StarCity Saigon. The room was excellent--spacious, quiet, clean. The bathroom was excellent, with a large shower and good hot water. The hotel overall was very close to several much more expensive hotels I've stayed in around the world at a very good rate. I would recommend it. The only challenge to a tourist rather than business traveler is that it's a good way (2 miles, maybe) from the main sites of Ho Chi Minh City in District 1, walkable but a hike. Coupled with HCMC's bad reputation for taxis, this may be a problem for you. But I did the walk and it was fine though hot. There are several decent and inexpensive restaurants and coffee places nearby.

Amazing views over Ho Chi Minh”
We stayed for 1 night at Starcity Saigon hotel in November. I picked the hotel due to its location to the airport as we had an early morning flight to catch. It was about a 5 minute taxi drive to the airport. We booked a deluxe room but at check-in we were told that we had been upgraded to an Executive Suite. The room was the size of a large apartment, with everything we needed. The room and hotel were spotless, staff very friendly and great English, they kept the restaurant open for us well after closing because we arrived late. The hotel is a 90k VND taxi ride from the centre of Ho Chi Minh but a real gem

Location only 15 minutes from saigon international airport, location by the side of main street in ho chi minh city, quite far from centre of ho chi minh, abut 20 minutes drive exclude traffic jam.. Facility and room service is very nice.

Good Location close to the airport”
Room was spacious and very clean. I stayed on the 9th floor and I had the view of the city. Food was delicious. The only downside was the location which a bit far from local attraction such as Ben Thanh Market, Notre Dame etc. However overall, I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Ho Chi Minh City.

Great location for airport transfer”
We used the Star city Saigon hotel as an overnight stay on our way to Hanoi. The hotel is a short drive from the international airport and the pick up service as everything else at the hotel was efficient and polite. We stayed in a Junior double suite,the room was large, clean and comfortable. Check in was extremely fast, something that is much appreciated after 13 hours in transit. Breakfast the next morning was not included in the price of our room but the selection and quality was quite good and for approximately $Aus10 we found to be good value. Checkout was fast and efficiently. The hotel was perfect for our needs, it is close to the airport, and everything happens quickly, politely and with no fuss.

Great rooms attentive staff”
We landed in Ho Chi Minh City and went straight to a busy night out and ended up checking in quite late at night. The staff were really helpful and very attentative. When we got to our rooms they were fabulous. Late night room service arrived minutes later. Wonderful.

Great choice if you need an airport hotel”
We only stayed overnight but were really pleased with the large well appointed room. The staff were efficient and friendly and the airport pick up and return for our flight the next day saved us haggling with the Ho Chi Minh taxi drivers. The hotel car was clean and airconditioned and good value for $15 US return for 2 people. We will stay here again.

Location near airport”
We stayed at Star City for a quick layover during a recent trip to vietnam. We loved the hotel, however, and would definitely recommend it. The location wouldn't be great for touring Saigon, but with the costs of taxis(cheap cheap) it might still be worth it. When we checked in we were in our room within 5 minutes of arrival, and the room was fantastic. Clean and modern - exactly what we were looking for. The price was right, too, an excellent deal for the quality of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again. Oh and a taxi ride from the airport is only about $3! Can't beat that either

Vissai Saigon is about 15-20 minutes from the international airport. Take Vinasun taxi only if you're from the airport. I was scammed 300.000VND taking another taxi. Taking Vinasun would cost your roughly about 50-100.000VND only. The location of the hotel is about 30 minutes away from the main city (District 1). That's the only downside of this hotel. You have to travel by taxi to get to D1. It'll cost you about 100.000VND. There is a pool and spa located on the 2nd floor. Staffs were professional and tried their best to help you even though their command of the English language is not that good. I highly recommend this hotel if you want a hotel that is value for money and away from the hustle and bustle of District 1.

Enjoyed our last night in Ho Chi Minh and wanted proximity to airport. Very good choice. Lovely hotel and friendly, helpful staff. We were upgraded and it was a nice ending to our busy holiday. Would definitely stay again if we needed to be near the airport.

New hotel with modern amenities”
i stayed at this hotel whilst in transit in ho chi minh. i needed a place to stay during my 6-hr stopover and starcity was more than i expected. the location was good and convenient for transit passengers as it is very close to the airport. the room was very clean and amenities were all new and modern. staff were very pleasant and courteous.

Beautiful hotel close to the airport. Walking distance to Supermarket BIG C. Great spacious room. For me personally for a hotel of that level a BATH should be provided. Breakfast was a great blend of western and vietnamese foods. Overall i loved it. Great way to unwind after a hectic day in Ho Chi Minh.

Wonderful place to stay if you are in transit or looking to be out of the hustle and bustle of ho chi Minh! Set very close(2 mins) to airport. Very clean spacious rooms with very comfortable beds and great tv channel selection. Pool area fantastic as is the gym and spa areas. Would highly recommend!
