Glad we have booked here. Sure it’s a bit expensive but the place is very relaxing. Also, it is not crowded so you will have a quiet and peaceful vacation.
Love the totality of this resort (except for the long walk in the stairs haha) but super good place to unwind. Kudos to their super pleasant staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. :) Always, good to be back!
beautiful beach resort!”
i loved everything about my stay. the location, the cleanliness of the room, the food, the friendly and professional staff, the amenities,. i felt relaxed and cared for in an understated luxurious way.
Worth the money!”
We will definitely come back in this place. Though it is a bit pricey, but you will get what you paid for. The room was so clean and very 5 star-ish. The staff were very accommodating. Our stay includes breakfast, lunch and dinner that will be served at the lanai (my favorite part) with a beautiful view of the sea. The food was also good. Double thumbs up especially to their breakfast, a hefty serving indeed! :)
Great staff who made our stay unforgettable. ”
Everything was really great, staff was very helpful all around, food was really good, everything was clean and tidy, and the resort was outstanding. The location was very much what we hope for to relax and end our vacation in a place where we can enjoy and have a great experience to take with us going back home. Thank you Vivere Azure and to all the staff who made our vacation unforgettable and very pleasurable one.
We will come back”
Other than the two stray cats, our stay was great! Service was excellent, food was done well, and right in front of the resort is a nice snorkeling area - full of marine life. The pool was not cold and open til midnight, perfect for swimming and chillaxing with drinks after a hot day.
The second time around was the best”
The first time I went to Vivere was back in 2014 and was not able to enjoy it that much bec. we arrived so late and I only included breakfast in my booking BUT from that moment I just fell in love with the place. I knew that I had to go back and I did! last Feb. 03. I had the chance to bring my gf and we only stayed for a day. And I can say that my second time was D'BEST, I was able to enjoy their 3 meals (you have options to choose) it might be expensive but their food just don't give any justice, was sooo good!. Then I've got the chance to dip myself into the sea 2 times and at night we had the swimming pool for ourselves looking at the starry sky (how romantic is that?). People who doesn't like sand this is the resort for you. Just a few feet from the shore when you dive in, the view inside the water is already breath taking you'll see diff. types of corals and fishes and I couldn't stop until it was time to check-out. 24hrs in Vivere was worth it, all the stress was just gone!
Add more food choices
We had an amazing stay at Vivere Azure, from the heart-warming staffs, to the awesome view of the infinity pool that looks connecting to the ocean and the room that makes you feel like home. And when we went, the resort was all to us because there were no other guests checked in but the staffs NEVER made us feel that we're the only guests at the resort so staff will be minimized. About the food, it was really great! Good selections too. We had steak and salmon for dinner! Definitely will come back, not just for a second time, but multiple times 👍🏼 Not recommended for pwds tho, steps from the room back to the pool area is really tiring.
Expensive but very relaxing”
My husband and I are very particular witb cleanliness. The room was expensive but reasonable. I dont recommend having a massage here because of the price and quality of service which do not compliment. The staff are very accomodating.
we had an absolutely great stay. with a rocky beach and the pool about 4 flights up, our little family just stayed in one place and bonded. it was really great. the food was so good! if not for the far drive and if only it had a sandy beachfront, we wouldn’t bat an eyelash to come here again
Vivere Azure - Perfection at its Best”
Rooms were huge. Facilities were great and the view from their infinity pool was surreal! I just love the place and the very kind staff who attended to all our needs during our overnight stay. The island trip to Sepoc beach is a must try for first time visitors. :)
worth the trip”
everything was excellent, even how they handled the disappointment of our 1st room assignment which had an aircon problem. though i read a similar experience online, they handled it well to makeup for that disappointing experience. we'd still go back, soonest we hope.
We stayed in the Ultima Suite (a Grand Premiere Suite), and it was worth every peso. The room was huge, with a daybed inside, and a lounger on the balcony. The view from the room is perfect, whether from the inside or from the balcony, as you can see the vast expanse of the sea. Service was top-notch all throughout, as they were very thoughtful, attentive and always served with a smile. Food was good, too, considering that it was a buffet. Limited selection, yes, but the quality was great. Only downside was there were smokers at the dining area. It was too bad, because everything else was perfect about the resort. Thank goodness the Assistant Manager Edison and the restaurant supervisor Erwin were there to help us out and address our concerns. Worth every peso spent.
Great view and service”
The premier room (escape) is right in front of beach, and you can have meals set up at the beach. Food is good, but a bit pricey - it’s in a far flung area so you really don’t have a choice of restaurants. The view is great, but corals are not that good in that part of Anilao though if you are there for the snorkeling or diving, since it is being stepped on a lot.
GREAT DAYS !!”
Me and my fiancee stayed here Last August for two days . We really had a good relaxing stay . For 13,000 plus php /day worth it . Because it includes all meals with really good taste and a lovely settings of table , plus a stunning view and fresh air from the sea . The room is so romantic , spacious and very clean ( not only room but all the surrounding is really clean ) . They clean the room daily and change linen that will make you feel so comfortable to lay . In front of beach is rocky , but it doesn't bother at all . You can borrow kayak , snorkel gadgets and even diver shoes for free . The infinity pool look so cool and the view is perfect for itself ( but me and my fiancee didn't went for a swim ). There is no wifi in room but it's not a big deal for us , coz we really enjoyed the ambiance , peacefulness of the place . We would love to come back here again as we visit Philippines next time. Thank you Vivere for a wonderful experience !!
Nice hotel, good food ”
The hotel was located by a cliff, going down to the beach and had a spectacular view over the ocean . It seems like a very remote place and we had a very good time there. There are many many stairs in the hotel and a lot of walking if you want to go from beach to pool, but that was acceptable. We enjoyed the food à la carte and were genuinely surprised by the high-quality.
Excellent facilities and food but too expensive”
The resort itself is very good. Food is limited but good quality. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is very nice. However, beach is very rocky, and the roads to Anilao tends to get very bad traffic. The resort itself, while great, does not warrant the high price it demands.
JUST RIGHT FOR US. ”
After our weeklong winter trip abroad and a short out-of-town flight trip for a family reunion, we were wondering if the 2.5hr trip will be worth the trouble since we were already tired from our previous trips. But my husband and I, together with our three young adults all agree that this was a good cap-off to our Christmas holidays. Forget all the negative reviews of others-- they're just nitpicking. I was worried that the amount I spent would not be worth it when I went over the reviews. But I'm a seasoned traveller, and I can tell if attitude and service is a fluke or a consistent thing. And here, they really exert effort to make your stay as comfortable and pleasurable as possible. Bugs? Naturally! This is open area, as close to nature as it possibly can. I appreciate how they have worked around natural surroundings to enhance the place. It's nature-friendly, so if you don't like bugs, stay indoors or use bug repellants. Indoors? You'd never thought you're in the middle of nowhere. Beds are so comfy that we almost missed our boat trip. You'd never regret just lounging around. Nothing around? That's the point of rest and relaxation! We just got away from it all. Take 3days/2nights and you're good to go. We're glad we did this. It recharged us totally! If you're easily bored, don't stay more than 2nights. Minor problems easily resolved. Full-board?There's nothing around to go to. But we enjoyed every meal we had! It was no gourmet, but comfort food prepared deliciously and it varies every meal. This holiday weekend was buffet-style and we just gave in to all the food delights. My young adults could not find any fault with their food. Favorites were not-your-ordinary-mushroom soup, pork belly binagoongan, fish dishes, grill-night burger patties & tender chicken bites, parsley rice, crisp wonton banana desserts, cold mango sago etc. The list never ends. Chefs are to be comnended! Dining servers Giovanni & Deejay were exemplary. Minor problems easily resolved.
As with most resort hotels in the Philippines, Vivere Azure is expensive compared to Phuket, Hanoi, or evn Bali. Meals are included in the rate and since it is by the sea, I was a bit disappointed that there were no shellfish or prawn dishes in the menu. The place is perfect for young couples as the climb up to the pool and the lobby is a bit strenuous. As with other resorts in Anilao, do not expect a sandy beach but the sunset is spectacular. Perhaps, by charging a high price, they limit their guests to quality and not quantity which is fine with me. We had a great time.
