I booked for 2 nights and extended for 1 more night. My friend and I shared a room with 6 other travellers. Location of the hostel is about 10 minutes walk from the night market and many other popular places like Mount Phousi, alms giving location, Mekong river, Khan river and Utopia (a bar restuarant). Most importantly, it is quiet at night. Wifi is working fine. The price comes with breakfast. The rooms and toilets are cleaned daily but the only problem is when a bed is vacanted, staffs only change the bedsheet and not the blanket. Toilet is spacious and shower is by far the best in Laos. Staffs speak limited English but they have all the information written at the reception area, so just tell them which transportation or tour you want to take up and they will arrange for you. Bicycle and motorbike rental is also available. Overall, very nice for a hostel,

my favourite hostel in Laos! Great breakfast and hot showers ”
This probably my all around favourite hostel in Laos! I stayed here 3 times and probably altogether for two weeks time while I did research. Best hot showers that don't run out. Many shsred bathrooms and one shared inside each dorm room. Dorms are locked and locker provided. Bathrooms cleaned daily. They organize bus tickets, tours to Kuan si waterfalls etc. The best part is the rooftop. It is the most social place and breakfast is a great time to meet others! Free pool table. Free coffee and tea all day. Huge breakfast included with many options! Soup is really good and banana pancake is amazing! Love this place, obviously as I came back three times!

Probably my favourite hostel in Laos ”
The showers!! Seriously they were great! As a solo traveller, this place was really easy to socialise in and had a great atmosphere. Breakfast was pretty good by Lao standards and It was very easy to meet people. The staff were quite good and mostly spoke English very well. Taxis are expensive in LP, but you can book shared busses via the hostel.

Stayed in a 8 bed dorm for 2 nights. It was clean. Breakfast was in the price included and very good. It is served on a nice terrace on the rooftop, where you can hang out. The wifi is gpod. Not everyone of the staff can speak English, but at the reception there is mostly somebody who speaks English. Bus tickets can be bought at the reception but often more expensive than at the bus station (mine was 140 000K at the hostel, 100 000 at the bus station) but they puck you up at the hostel. The northern bus station is approximately 3km from the hostel, the southern 2km.

great facilities but totally unorganized staff”
the hostel is really nice and clean. I stayed for 3 days and it was really nice. however I got food poisoning my 3rd day and really needed to rest as I was so weak. knowing I would need to rest I told the guy at the front desk I would need to extend another day the day before. he said OK and that I should pay for the room in the morning. I go to pay in the morning and the owner/manager tells me I have to check out as they are sold out. I told him I extended my stay with the other guy last night but apparently the other guy didn't write it down. tried to explain I wasn't feeling well and needed to rest but he didn't care. same thing happened to my friend as she was also sick. she had also extended her stay after throwing up all night due to food poisoning but the guy didn't write down her extension either. so we had to end up somehow packing up and dragging ourselves to a new place. it was horrible to have to do so when you've barely got any energy and were so weak. thank God for other travelers that helped us to carry our stuff to a new place. nice facilities but the staff was just terrible!

You get better deals in term od money and quality elsewhere. - Toilet is coupled with shower; not really nice to go on a wet toilet... - Dorm does neither get cleaned on a daily basis nor thorougly when done on odd days.

The good side is great great breakfast. The downside is: This staff at first was nice and reasonable at first, but later on he was keep on touching me more, everyone else was paying under $4, he was trying to charge me $4.75, and I stayed over a week.

Best hostel we stayed at in Laos ”
A 10-15 minute walk to the night market and local attractions. Had a great free breakfast with many options, and free tea and coffee all day. The beds were the comfiest in Laos and the showers were amazing, waterfall ones and hot! The place was clean for the most and staff were helpful. Great views from the dining area.
