The large, air-conditioned rooms at VP Jardín Metropolitano have parquet floors and modern décor. Each one comes with satellite TV and a private bathroom with hairdryer. The VP Jardín Metropolitano Hotel’s restaurant serves Mediterranean food in a relaxing environment. There is also a bar where you can get a snack or a drink. Good place to stay”
Service is polite and discreet. Personnel speaks English (surprisingly for Madrid) I had number with city-roof view, even some mountains were visible at clear sky. Rooms are clean and relatively big. Audibility between numbers is slightly above average ;) Air-conditioner works like a charm! Beds are VERY comfortable, when you take double, be prepared to get shifted twin. Bathroom one of the best i met in 4-star hotels. Building interior classic-modern, small garden with palm-trees and fountains. Location is nearby Metro, just street is a bit noisy (not a hotel fault anyway). Restaurant looks nice, but haven't had a chance to try it, so no comments. Several Spanish bars and pubs are just few steps away, also 24-hour mini-mall (~100 meters, to metro station direction). To get a normal place to eat - need to walk about 10-15 minutes, or use a Metro and Google-maps :) WiFi signal stable and strong. TV shows mostly Spanish channels, lot's of sports, some music. Overall very good hotel.
Fantastic hotel ”
We stayed at this hotel over a weekend to watch the football, it is conveniently located only 20 mins walk from the real Madrid stadium. The hotel had fantastic large room and very comfortable bed the bathroom was also great, the staff were friendly and accommodating. Will stay here again for sure!
We chose this hotel due to its relative proximity to the Bernabeu Stadium which is about a 20 minute walk away. Metro station is on the doorstep and it took us around 30 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport. City Centre is about a half hour walk or a 5 minute Metro ride. Immediate surroundings are OK with a few cafes and a supermarket along with Macdonalds and KFC. Rooms are clean and comfortable without being particularly luxurious and have 2 three quarter size beds. There is also a small gym
Good Value for money”
Really enjoyed the stay here. There's a Carrefour just around the corner and it's a short walk to the Metro. Takes about 20min by Metro to Sol and the same to the Convention Centre. Generally very pleased except for a loose shower head that kept drooping and the deadbolt that couldn't work in the room. Also no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Overall a very good value.
Our superior room is very comfortable. Specially the beds and the pillows! The breakfast was quite good also. Good thing that we did not sign up for the entire stay as they served the same selection everyday. The area around the hotel can offer good optons. Only drawbacks - no coffee, no water in room supplied, the toothbrushes provided are quite bad. The toiletries were not replenished during my stay. The metro station just outside the hotel is a big attraction.
Good value for money, very good breakfest”
Located out of the center but with a very good access to the public transport. Breakfest reach and various with local dishes. Few days after departure I asked Staff via email to send me some fiscal document - but no answer at all.
Excellent Hotel ”
This hotel is a few minutes walk from Cuatro Caminos metro station and a bus stop giving great access to the centre of Madrid and an easy trip to and from the airport. There are plenty of cafes/fast food chains and a 24hr supermarket beside the hotel. It is a beautiful hotel, clean and well maintained. The staff could not have been more helpful and as we arrived early kept our luggage for us in reception allowing us to get out sightseeing!. We did not eat here but the restaurant looked lovely and the atrium is stunning. We would certainly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when next visiting Madrid.
A good hotel to stay in”
I have stayed in this hotel three times now before leaving for a language course in Salamanca province. It is well placed for my needs and connections, is satisfactorily priced for its class and has well-appointed rooms. The wi-fi was not so good.
We enjoyed our stay at the VP Jardin Metropolitano very much. We stayed for only one night in our way to southern Spain. The hotel is somewhat far from the center but the metro station is just some 30 meters away and you can get to the center very easily with no line change required. The same line takes you to the train station hassle free. The hotel itself is very clean and pleasant. Check in and check out was very fast. The price is much cheaper than similar establishments in the center. Everything in the hotel was as presented in the website. It had a restaurant but we did not eat there it seemed nice though. I will recommend it for families or otherwise. It is an excellent value for the money.
Very nice and cosy hotel”
I strongly advise this hotel, since the rooms are large and comfortable, the living area is quite cosy, with access to free WiFi, the staff is nice and the buffet breakfast is very good and at a reasonable price. Non-smoking rooms are advisable. Moreover, the hotel is within walking distance (50 m) from the metro station (Cuatro Caminos, which is also an important line junction).
An amazing place to stay with lovely staff”
Staffs were lovely and helping , Rooms were neat and elegant and the house keeping team were very prompt. Though the restaurant Menu is limited Chef made some very tasty food.Wifi was good and nothing to complain about. Also the price was good for the services recieved. I will be staying here on my next trip also.
It's about ６ mins walking to Metro ｔｒａｉｎ ｓｔａｔｉｏｎ ｂｕｔ ｔｈｅ ｓｔｒｅｅｔ ｉｓ ｖｅｒｙ ｑｕｉｅｔ. Ｈｏｗｅｖｅｒ， ｔhere are a lot of cafe, restaurants and supermarkets around which is very convenient. There gym is very small and has nothing to write home about. The room is spacious and clean with good shower. The wifi signal is weak in my room so I end up borrowing a cable from the front desk and the LAN works perfectly. Overall, a pleasant stay without breaking bank. Will use it again.
In this hotel you will get the feeling of relaxed luxury, as the decoration is sober but exquisite. Everything looks brand new, and the rooms are spotless clean. The TV set is a bit outdated, that could be improved. The hotel is close to 4 Caminos and the subway station is nearby, so you can easiliy get to anywhere in Madrid. Even if the hotel is located in a main street, there was no noise in the evening in the room.
Location is excellent with metro and buses infront of the hotel and not far from the city by metro. Shops, restaurants all around the hotel. check in and out is very fast. Reception staff is friendly smiling all the time and will help you with all your requests. Room was clean. WiFi was free but slow. If I am in Madrid again I will stay in this hotel because of price, location. excellent staff, cleanliness and comfortable room.
Excellent staff with huge rooms”
stayed here for 2 nights and it turned out to be the best hotels of my trip! rooms were hugeeee, the layout was very nice. had a very cool layout just outside my room. very comfortable and relaxing. staff were extremly helpful especially arthya. (not too sure if spelt correctly). the spoke excellent english and were very helpful to me in assisting me to retrieve my lost air. hotel location is also wonderful. will be back here for sure if watching real madrid games for sure !
perfect for the price ”
the hotel is perfect in terms of location, facilities, the room condition. value for money
Very good hotel and most important location very close to metro. Only 4 stops to center ”
Very close to metro , clean , good price , can order breakfast a day before and get it with discount only 11 euro
very nice hotel”
great rooms , friendly staff ))
comfy but smoky”
Very convenient to metro, walking distance to University area, easy access from/to airport and easy to get to central Madrid's restaurants and tourist areas. Rooms are quite big and beds comfortable. Style is a bit dated, but well maintained and the hotel overall is clean and charming enough. The only real drawback is the smoke smell of the room, which is especially embedded in the curtains.
hotel at good location and good amenities”
We were in Madrid for sightseeing. We drove to Madrid and two main reasons we chose the hotel is for parking and internet. Although parking was charged, internet was free. I feel the staff could do better with a little more English speaking ability.
