Beautiful and private lodgings in your very own secret garden! ”
Accommodations are set in a wild walled garden which has been in the owners family for three generations and provide a peaceful and relaxing environment, just minutes away from central Kon Tum. Run by the nicest guy we met in our first month in Vietnam, he brought us breakfast every morning free of charge - including iced civet coffee, fresh Bahn Mi and bananas from the garden. We were lucky enough to bump into him by chance twice around Kon Tum too. The first time he took us to his friend's gorgeous cafe for a drink and a chat, the second time he offered us the use of his facilities if we needed a shower or anything before we biked out of the city - even though we had checked out of his place two days prior. I cannot stress enough what a wonderful and kind guy he is! Rooms are spacious, clean and in stunning traditional buildings. Ours even had an outside bathroom which was a brilliant touch. Such great value for money. Cannot wait to return to Vuon Thu very soon!

Mr Duck is an amazing owner. We came there fully rained and wet and the owner fixed the major needs we had, arranged a better rooms, cleaned wet clothes and even brought delicious food because our shoes were wet as well. He even did coffee. In the morning he brought food again, made coffee even though no breakfast was included. The best feelings about this place. Recommend it to everybody :)

A tranquil temporary home”
This place is extraordinary! We felt like home here and we were honestly sorry for leaving the place. Everything was clean, Mr. Duc helped us with everything and the ancient garden surrounding our room was incredible. Ideal for people who look for a calm place away from the city hustle. The accommodation is a bit further from the centre which is totally compensated by the peaceful and quiet atmosphere.

Exceptional”
I stayed here for three nights to get off the beaten track of typical Vietnam and it was well worth it. There are native villages around which are extremely friendly and welcoming. The homestay itself is very nice, free water refills (bring your own bottle and reduce plastic). You can rent a motorbike for about 150k which is recommended as the scenery is beautiful. There were a few other travelers there who were also lovely. He even drove me last minute to the bus stop when my bus switched itineraries on me on short notice. I’m definitely coming back here on my next Vietnam trip.

really an nice place, quiet with a huge garden ”
If you like quiet places with nice nature around you are in the right place. The buildings are in a huge garden. The bathroom were the best we had since now because it is open air with a banana tree next to you. Also Mr. Duc is a real friendly guy and likes to have a chat with you. The price is cheap and we also get a banh mi and coffee for breakfast and some mangos for free. Really friendly.

Much more than an homestay”
This place is beautiful charming quiet and all what any good Traveller will look for. Me. Duc is the sweetest man on Earth and all his kindness will fulfill any one’s heart. I stayed one week and I miss it a lot and would stay there for a longer time if I could. Will be back for sure!

Great Homestay Experience”
We had a great time staying at the homestay with Duc. We learned alot about Vietnamese culture. The garden is really nice and there was lots of space to chill out. There is also secure parking for motorbikes. I would definitely recommend staying here.

A nice place, they have garden with fruit trees and clean air. The room is simple but it is just enough. AMAZING BATHROOM lol. The price is quite low but the place keep the good standard. It is clean. Thanh you Mr.Đức because of your help. I recommend this place for a couple or family trip.

Very Nice”
Great little place Nice & Quite, the owner was extremely nice brought us coffee & snacks in the morning. Also filtered water so you can fill up you water bottles instead of buying new ones to help the environment. Stay 2 nights and do a day trip to Ecotourism destinations Pa Sy waterfall, very cool place where we had an amazing day with locals.

Very nice stay for a quiet night. It’s a bit further away from town, but id you’re looking for such place, this is were you want to be. Duc is very nice and take good care of you. He got even breakfast for me. Loved the outside bathroom 👍🏻

A pleasant stay”
When we arrived, we didn't see anyone at the reception. It seems like no one is running or managing the place. After a while, the owner showed up and led us to the room. It turned out that the double room is clean and comfortable. Although the air conditioning was not cold, the temperature in the room was fine. They have the special open toilet/bathroom. And in the morning we could hear the noise of cicada. We ended up staying for another night.

Owner is friendly. I had stomachache when i arrived. He gave me some asprins, walter and foods. I went around this garden, discoved kinds of name's trees. He pick some "vú sữa" for me making cakes. I love this place so many. My room is clean, sight, no smelling,...i slept like a baby at my mother hand. We talked together many things, he is open heart, kindness, humorous. Absolutely, I will come back at next time.

Lovely accomodation and owner ”
We are travellers from Australia and stayed here one night as we are headed to Hoi An. The owner Doc is so lovely and offered us bananas and tea on arrival. Our room was spacious, clean and the bathroom outside was a fun touch! The next morning he bought us breakfast and sent us off with bananas and bread. Couldn't recommend this place more, especially if you are travelling on bike and just need a place for the night :D

Beautiful property that has been neglected”
There were many things I loved about this guest house. The property is very open as a garden with cobbled pathways going between the houses. The open bathrooms were also wonderful. The traditional nature of the buildings also added a lovely atmosphere to the place. However, it seems that the property has been neglected over time. We stayed in one of the private rooms, where they put up secondary ceilings (those panels you find in offices) as primary ceilings. As a result, animals, leaves, and other creatures had made their home above the secondary ceilings. The dust and debris occasionally fell from the ceiling. In our case, we ended up switching to a new room because it kept on dirtying the bed. It still didn't solve the serious ant infestation that seemed to have made a home in the ceiling. There are lovely traditional public buildings on the property.
