Dear Sir/Madam, I have been staying here since the 3rd of May. Upon arrival, it took me quite some time to wait at the lobby until the receptionist retrieved my reservation. Throughout my stay, I failed to understand why I have to keep asking for bottle of water, slippers, dental kits, shower caps, and other room amenities that this brand should be providing. Shouldn’t this be replenished everyday by housekeeping? I also have to keep asking for coffee pods and sugar to be replenished every single day. It has come to a point where I need to be begging for these things that I am paying for! Breakfast is also an issue. It is a room for two adults, with my 17 years old son. I also failed to understand why I was mistakenly charged for breakfast that it is included in the room. Finally, I have just send my jeans for dry cleaning and the color/wash was damaged. Please kindly explain to me why I am receiving this service? Or is this generally the service being offered by the W Los Ange
A little outdated but still nice”
Overall good experience. Staff was friendly, got checked in easily and enjoyed our stay. The only thing was the hotel is a bit old and outdated- compared to what I had imagined. They have cute modern furniture inside but the building is just old-and need some work. But it was still a great stay, ordered breakfast room service and it was amazing and ate dinner at the pool restaurant which was also very good.

Love this property. Location is great for UCLA visits. This visit we enjoyed the outdoor patio for breakfast and drinks one night. So pretty out there! We stayed in room 305 which should be noted as set up for persons with disabilities. The shower is a little weird. While a Wonderful Room, there is no couch or lounge area in this room, unlike other Wonderful Rooms.

Fantastic location, friendly employees. Nice bar, and lovely outdoor pool/dining area. The only disappointment for us during this stay was that our Wonderful Room didn't have a couch in it like our previous stays in a Wonderful Room. Note: Room 305 is a room outfitted for disabled persons.
Great location and lovely room. We stayed in a Wonderful room. No view to speak of but the room was quite large, comfy bed and stocked mini-bar. Nice bathroom amenities. The only downside was that there was no coffee in the room or in the lobby that we could find. It won't stop us from coming back though. The W is our new go-to hotel for our UCLA visits.
Absolutely Dirty Unacceptable ”
I was checked into a room with yellow stained carpet I believe room 402 and a filthy tub. After calling the front desk I was moved to room 1005 where the A/C did not work. Facilities was sent up and said to have fixed it however, it was not and the Maintenance woman was very rude about it. Not impressed.

Pros:Lovely hotel and service with a smille. located in a very quite community. I got there at late night 3am because of flight delay. They gave me a upgrade to suite room which is awesome! Cons:Parking is not cheap, $35 overnight. The hanging light is so low that I always hit my head.
Retro mood hotel”
the hotel is located not near any shopping mall, so need to drive to get food and personal need. It is not like the big W hotel we used to know but is modified from an old high rise. Room is very spacious.

best location for access to ucla”
1. room (1514) good size but inconvenient due to every light having to be switched off individually. no general switch, either at entrance or bedside. 2. bathroom very inconvenient, due to not having a ledge on either side of the wash-basin. no place to put down bathroom accessories (especially for ladies). there is a small glass ledge, perched high directly above the toilet. two items fell into the bowl. 3. suggestions by customers there is no provision for a customer's suggestions form: none available in the room nor at front desk. after writing on plain paper and leaving it at front desk, addressed to the manager - ren hirose - no acknowledgment of the receipt from anyone. any manager with experience would know that it is customary to reply with a simple "thank you, we're looking into it.....".

from the moment i entered the lobby i was greated with service with a smile,,, the staff was fantastic and extremly helpfull,,, i was upgraded to a king suite room apun arrive without even to ask,,... when i inquired about getting a sim card for my overseas iphone the staff offered to go AT@T And sign me up for service,,, hence,, saving me the trouble of going there myself,,,, the wnenever whatever phone service from the room is a feautre all hotel should copy and learn from,,,, this hotel was great,.,,, the pool action and restruant was young and hip and lots of a list people at this hotel,,, wow,,, i loved my stay here and will be back,,,

The place met my needs and was very comfortable for the whole time I was there (1 week). whenever I had a question or needed some help the staff at the hotel were more than eager to lend a helping hand- very knowlegeable and helpful. Made my time there very satifying.
もう一箇所のW HOTELも泊まってみたかった。 音楽も充実していた良かった。 １人で泊まったんですが、部屋がとても広いので、2人がベストだと思った。
