My home at Taipei”
Ms. Karen Chan, the Guest Experience Team Leader, welcomed me home at 10/F during check-in. I think it was my 12th or 13th stay at W. The view of the 101 from my room was spectacular. Rita, the therapist at Away Spa, was as good as usual. Ms. Amy Tseng, the Guest Experience Manager, kindly checked with me about my stay on my second day of stay. Amy always made sure my stay was comfortable. Emma and Howard of the Housekeeping were kind and helpful.

A fine tastefully-designed hotel”
The hotel is very stylish and great attention to detail was put in to the whole design. Breakfast was superb, and the lunch and dinner buffets look the same - we didn't try them this time. The pool is cleverly positioned so that much of it is in the shade throughout the day. However, if you want to use it in the summer, you might want to avoid Sundays, when most or all of the seating is taken up by people attending their weekly summer pool party from 3-7 pm. All in all, it was a great stay and we will definitely return soon.

Gorgeous Hotel and Very Comfortable”
This was my first time staying at the W brand and I was very much impressed. I really appreciated all of the small welcome gifts and the daily ones they provided after turndown service everyday. My favorite part about the room was the automatic blackout drapes, which made it so easy to sleep in the middle of the day.

W hotel always remains me of the above. Its a great hotel because of their attention to details. Like the Bose wireless speaker. Even have a speaker just to play white noise. And many many more that I won't list.

Great view, privacy, comfort”
I reserved the spectacular Taipei101 and I got the great view over my expectation. The room is clean and has enough facility. It’s very quiet even it close to the road. It’s easy for transportation. The hotel is located next to subway and Airport bus terminal. The hotel is among with many shopping arcade and I can walk to Taipei101 and Sun-Yat-Sen Memorial hall.

There was not a good impression when checking in around 3:30pm and having to wait in a line which wasn’t really that long but still taking half an hour. Apart from this frustrating delay the staff were always delightful and service amazing. We stayed in a ‘wonderful room’ on the 17th floor and it was really perfect. Totally brand new looking and super clean. Automatic toilet, full windows, massive comfortable bed and pillows, huge amount of surfaces, every amenity you could ever want and plenty of information. The bar on 10th floor is expectedly expensive and I wasn’t super impressed with the drinks, but I sometimes people don’t pay for the quality of alcohol? We had buffet breakfast included which had more than enough choices, hot and cold, Taiwanese and some western, a fresh juice machine etc. The pool area was nice and even with poor weather, it’s heated so we had a short visit. There is also a nice gym and steam room/hot tub etc on 12th floor and included in room fare. Location is right above an MRT station and short walk to countless restaurants and shopping malls etc. Would definitely stay again (it’s worth saving money for this kind of special treat).

Quirky and Modern”
Location is great being at the center of the Xinyi district. All the large shopping malls are at your doorstep. On the other side you also have access to the traditional stalls and street foods within walking distance. Staff at hotel are great and speak proficient English. The room itself isn’t as luxurious as the rate reflected but modern and clean nonetheless.

World class Standard ”
Have not been back for two years ! They have changed the concept of the lobby bar at level 10 to a more cafe like style. But still nice with kids around . Great for shopping”
Located in downtown Taipei, the W Hotel is in a great location for shopping. It’s about a 10 min walk from Taipei 101. Due to COVID restrictions, dining at the restaurants in the W was limited; I still don’t understand the difference between the restaurants on the 10th floor and their menus, or how to book a table at any place other than The Kitchen Table. Fortunately, there are many great restaurants in the area and room service has a diverse menu so eating is not a problem. The room was big and clean. The staff is great. Not sure how much fun the area is for kids.
