Generally - Had a really nice welcome from the hostess despite me arriving slightly later than check in. The hostess had a pleasant way about her and the entrance was well kept and inviting. The picture accompany the Trip Adviser site misleading. Did not notice any lounge here.
Location - Guest House 10 - 12 walk from railway station and within easy access of the shops and restaurant on offer in the town centre. Initially struggled to find the House but once I understood the location it was fine. Public car park more or less across the road.
Room - I had a single room at the top of the house (2nd floor) which was a plus and minus . The room was well sized and pleasantly furnished. Only negative was the room was a bit cool but on the second night of my stay I noticed the heating had been put on. The room was furnished with tea and coffee making facilities, TV and a good walk in shower. Wifi very poor (but free) in this room.
Breakfast - There was a good selection off items hot and cold and the breakfast room bright, well kept. Tea did not particularly like the tea served but i'm fussy.
