Wadi Shabby
It is near Wadi Shab, yes. Forget about all the rest. Ridiculous price for what they offer.

Beautiful beach to front, nice staff and pool, good rooms. Can rent GoPro and/or guide for local wadis. Only downside, road connection not finished so a little tough to enter

I love the place. I go back year after year.
So good if you want to stay on the sea and close to Wadi Shab. It's best to start the hike into Wadi Shab by 8:00 a.m. during this time (April), in order to get to the cave swim hole and then back out before noon (high sun).

Photos are very deceiving
We know hotel photos are mostly deceiving but Wadi Shab's are very deceiving. Unfortunately, I paid the price of a 4-star hotel resort, and got a chalet / motel instead., and I am referring to the room, pool, beach, landscape and resturants. I was very keen to take a calm relaxing dip in the pool (as anyone would when you see the hotel pool photos), but when I got there, it was tiny and the water looked rather stale. Wifi was weak and didn't work half of the time. My hot water shower was bearly warm. There is a fence that separates you from the beach. I didn't bother to ask for access as the beach was made up more of pebbles than sand. Now the pluses... The bed is comfortable and the staff are nice. For that price, I would have preferred a better hotel even if I had to drive further... If only I know. Now you know ...

Cool
This two star resort is well placed aside sea shore, great views. Check in was smooth and fast. Got early chick inn as well late check out. Book through Agoda for some smart good deals, if you walk in directly they are charging Omani Rial 49.000 for one night with no break fast. We were 2 adults and our kid of 1.9 years. Booked a standard room, Room size is not that big, but its okey. Bathroom is specious with all toilet amenities, but bathing area is congested also water flow from the closet pump is weak. All the rooms in the resort are with sea view, they have a balcony from the entrance. The whole view from the resort is to the sea and cliffs. Location is very nice. Resort has got a small swimming pool and has access to beach. Beach is not friendly, its not sand, but filled with stones, also its not a private beach. Buffet Break fast and dinner was good. For breakfast they are charging Omani Rial 4.000 and for Dinner Omani Rial 6.000. Overall its a gr8 place to stay.

Good location for wadi shab
It's within 10 mins drive to wadi shab. No restaurant around the hotel unless 15 mins drive to cafe in a village.
