Best hostel on the island ”
Only 2 pax per room on dorm . Nice view, closed to the beach. Prepare your self when you arrived to go up the hill with all your luggage. The only think I have to mention is that they have a problem with kitchen (not enough space for poeple to put they food; - need a fridge or 2 more - 1 more shelve up to put poeple grocery. - hair dryer - knives that cup - buy some glass as they are disgusting also.. a lot of poeple are not cleaning they stuff on the kitchen so it become dirty . They say that it travellers bit I stay there enough long to see my self that it was almost all the time 2-3 long terme worker there. All that is easy problem to fix. Otherwise really nice place. staff are great, view is amazing closed to bus, beach and winery.

best hostel in Waiheke ! bo disgusting party like the others hostel ”
If you looking for a nice place to chill, relax and have great time that the place. Bbq, tv room, kitchen, nice view, dorm with 2 people share only, next to a quiet beach.. that the place. On the opposite if you are hippies, gypsies, partying you will prefer the others hostel (from my part I think the other place is really disgusting, unclean) compare to this place. Staff are friendly. I stay here in november and it was nice. At that time the where no problem with the kitchen but now it seem to be a tiny problem.. PEOPLE ARE NOT CLEANING THEY DISHES AND GET MESSY. I do think that the manager have to react on this and find a solution so it could make it better for others travellers. ALL ... THE NEED TO CONSIDER HAVE 1 OR 2 MORE FRIDGE. Easy fixable as the can make place by moving some table easily. The need to have knives that work and more kitchen stuff as some proper glass and more forks. Also, it will be a really good idea to buy at least one hair drier that travellers can borrow. (man running this hostel didnt think about it 😉😂). Otherwise notthing to say, it NICE PLACE THAT I RECOMMENDED.

Beautiful Hostel with ocean view ”
Located on a very beautiful spot, the garden is facing the ocean. 20 min bus ride to town. Bus stop literally in front of the door, but have to climb up 180 steep stairs. Kitchen could have been a bit cleaner. Nice bathrooms. 2 bed dorms are very tiny but clean. Would be nice to have mosquito nets on the windows to be able to keep the windows open during the nights to be not eaten by 100000 mozzies. Really enjoyed my stay and recommend this hostel :-)

Lovely little lodge close to a beach, location was a bit further out of town but easy to get to by bus. Easy late check in.

Good hostel / quiet ”
This hostel it's far from the city, but pretty Closed of a really Nice beach. Make sure you are in good shape to get up the Hill with your suitcase and backpack. It quiet and calm, quality people who travels here so everyone is really respectful to each others. The kitchen is unfortunately sonetime really messy and dont have a lot of class or even fourth to eat your meal and spoon. They clean kitchen sometime during dinner time when is busy (?? should be befor or after). Sometime the responsible it not there in the morning for check out and leaving also during the day. By chance notthing bad happen. Somehow this hostel it perfect for your stay in waiheke !

Waiheke hostel was the best part of my time on the island. I definitely gonna come back soon. Stunning view, clean, quiet, but the most friendly, helpful, and trustworthy staff (Betiana specifically). :-)
