SIMPLY THE BEST!!”
Due to the 'c' word, we have been unable to stay at The Waipuna since Oct 2018 as we regularly stayed here. So it was with much excitement, hubby and I spent a night recently and as expected the quality of stay was EXCEPTIONAL as we remembered it! Staff were friendly and obliging (let me us porter staff freezer), room was spotless and clean (bonus as previous week we spent a night in a shit hole) and comfort was AAA+++. The Waipuna has and always will be our number 1 preferred accommodation whenever we visit Auckland. Thank you maintaining high standards after what I'm sure has been a tough time for you all!

I travelled with my 2 children to Auckland to catch up with friends and was more than pleasantly surprised at what Waipuna delivered. A gorgeous spacious room, pool, gym and lovely helpful staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Will definitely stay there next time we are in town and thank you for making our time so enjoyable.

A hidden gem”
Staff were great and friendly during check-in and check-out. The room was very clean. The hotel location is at a nice quite place, and has a lovely scenic lake round to walk around.

Staff outgoing and friendly - the deal we managed to secure provided us with a spacious one bedroom suite …. Dining, lounge kitchen … separate toilet and then a large spacious e suite with a deep bath wall mirror large shower and another toilet …. Only a couple of hiccups … card in the door would t work at first and there was only tea in room, no coffee … bed was comfy … so much so I slept in! Thanks Waipuna

Great hotel and surroundings”
While Mt. Wellington is not an attractive suburb of Auckland this resort has beautiful grounds on a lagoon with a walking path all around it. the rooms were very comfortable with everything you needed. I stayed some of it in an amazing suite and then some in their basic affordable room and both were good values. Nice onsite gym but you could also walk across the lagoon to a fantastic pool and fitness center and hiking up Mt. Wellington was just across the lagoon too. Can't walk into town so a challenge without a car to go out for food. Close enough to play in Auckland but be out of the cities noise and congestion. Best if you have a car if you stay here.

Value for money was insane with this one. Even down to good quality hair products in the shower, a decent hair dryer, quality tea/coffee selection. Comfortable bedding. Will definitely be back.

Spacious comfort”
This hotel has some nicely renovated touches and sits in a lovely setting which makes it a relaxing oasis in the urban and suburban expanse of Auckland. There were some poor reviews of this hotel when I booked. I can't see why they were posted. The hotel was lovely and will stay again.

Sunny and peaceful in Waipuna”
We had a great time in Waipuna visiting friends and family nearby. Ample parking, generous sized rooms and very clean. The staff and professional and friendly, we were welcomed. Would recommend this for those who need to be in the nearby area or access to Auckland by car.

My sister and I travelled with my young 2 year old son and he thoroughly enjoyed the pool and spa as did we. We will definitely be recommending Waipuna to friends and family as it was good value for money and hope it stays that way. Great, friendly staff who were always helpful.

The room, although it had a view of the carpark, was freshly renovated to a modern standard. Great shower and extremely comfortable bed. Sylvia Park shopping centre is very close by. Was perfect for our needs.

Stayed 3 nights at Waipuna Hotel. It has a nice feel about it. The room was clean and large. The view was great. I could walk to the local shopping centre for a large choice of food option. Overall, a pleasant stay and excellent value

Group travel made easy with the Waipuna”
We stayed at the Waipuna for the cricket match and it was a great stay with my visitors from Australia. It was January with summer holiday atmosphere and this suited us perfectly, as the service was not rushed and felt looked after. The rooms were generous and very clean. Having the lift made carrying suitcases up to the room easy. Recommend the Waipuna!
