only thing i would recommend is to oil the sliding door lol. . not a biggie. Location is spot on. view is beautiful. walking distance to everything. very clean and tidy. and price was good ! Highly recommend. and definetly will be bring the whanau next time.

The only saving grace about this place was the location. We had a cabin (don't get excited, there's no running water) right by the water so the view was wonderful to see every morning. The campsite was great in the day time - it was lovely to sit outside and look at the water but at night it wasn't a lot of fun. On our first night my wife got up to go across to the toilet block and discovered a number of cockroaches in our room including crawling over our stuff on the table. This was obviously not much fun and meant that we had to keep all the doors and windows closed in the night (they still got in! Every night.). It was incredibly hot in the cabin and as there was no fan, sleeping wasn't easy. The shower block facilities were ok but not always that clean and quite often the ladies had run out of paper towels.Our cabin was pretty shabby and would benefit from new curtains and carpet (there was a very odd smell when we first arrived which appeared every time the room had been shut up)

We took the cabin and it was very nice.. the facilities could be upgraded a little more as in more showers and bigger kitchen.. But the view is beautiful and the place is quiet.. we enjoyed our walk to the waitangi treaty ground just around 10 minutes but with the view it seemed less.. Remember to bring your top bedding!!!!

I travelled to Paihia as a backpacker and was amazed by how this plaze looks like. It is very well organized, has an extraordinarily clean and equipped kitchen and offers a lot of comfort for any traveller. In addition, management is the factor that makes this place, they are very helpful and take the time to go with you to the accommodation to show how everything works. Had a single room for only 26 Euros!!! So if you go to Paihia, go here. Proper value for money!
