Excellent Location, Big Room”
The best location in Versailles. It's right by the garden entrance, close to Marie Antoinette's hamlet. It's a nice walk to the main palace as well. The hotel is charming, beautiful and a great experience to share with your loved ones. The room is old but very big.

Worth a visit”
Beautiful hotel, worth it for even just a night to take photos in the beautiful lobby! The indoor pool was great too. Breakfast buffet was great, staff were not that friendly, but certainly not rude

Lovely location, ideal for Versailles Palace and gardens. ”
The Waldorf Astoria is a wonderful place to stay, just outside the gates of Versailles Palace making it ideal if your visit is to see the palace. Breakfast is wonderful with a very wide choice of food. My only negative is that being English we like tea in the morning and in the room they only have one tea bag per person and one cream each, we English like cold milk with our tea and at least 2 tea bags each would be much better but I was told it would be a room service extra to ask for milk. The beds and linen are so comfortable in fact I would say the best beds I’ve slept in. Staff faultless and always very helpful. Loved our stay and would stay again.

Lovely, formal hotel”
the hotel is lovely and the staff are very accommodating. the location is great if you are visiting the palace versailles. unfortunately, the palace grounds are very dusting and returning to the trianon leaves you with dusty clothes in a beautiful, formal hotel. the wait staff, both inside and outside, seemed to ignore this problem - and that was greatly appreciated by us. both restaurants were outstanding. great hotel!

Direct access to Petit Trianon / Versailles”
My sister and I planned to visit the Chateau Versailles, so we decided to splurge a bit and booked a room here. What is amazing about this hotel is: 1. Location Near Versailles, so you can walk down the roads inside the park and get to the chateau and Marie Antoinette's estates fairly easy. 2. Service The concierge desk at the hotel is very helpful (but not 24h service). You can bring almost any question to the concierge and they will help answer; especially great is that they sell tickets for the Chateau Versailles, so you don't need to queue for tickets at the palace. The staff all speak English which is a plus for non-French travelers. 3. Food The breakfast buffet was included in our room and we really enjoyed it. They have fresh juice and local Jam / Honey, also their own bespoke olive oil and vinegar! The variety of the breakfast is great so you get to have a lot of pastries / breads/ cereals and even japanese style breakfast. The Gordon Ramsay restaurant was amazingly good, and I highly recommend the discovery menu, which is less expensive (135euro for dinner)and is filling and delicious(Their Allaiton lamb is amazing). Note that a glass of white wine was 24 euro, and since I don't really drink we didn't bothered to ask the price by bottle. Things I did not like so much: The shower/bath tub is rather difficult to manage since the water stopper is huge and you can step on it easily when trying no to splash water out (it doesn't really have a door only a half glass-cover), so it was a bit annoying having to release it so water could go down the drain.

Beautiful location, great value for money”
i usually do not choose luxury hotels if i go for mini-breaks in europe, but stayed at trianon palace because was invited to a wedding that took place there in versailles. the hotel is beautiful, quiet and green thanks to enormous parks surrounding it. i was staying in a standard room with a garden view not in the main section of the hotel, but in the one opposite. it was very empty which was surprising considering the occasion. the room was big and i had a king size bed to myself. all the necessities were provided. i must say that it was good value for money as i ended up paying less than 300 euros through agoda for a room that usually goes for 600. it took a while to check in because of the queue and the same to check out, so be prepared to wait. the service in the restaurant was super slow and the waiters kept on mixing up the orders- again surprising for such an upmarket hotel. all in all it was a pleasant stay in a beautiful part of france.

Lovely and Romantic”
We were only in Versailles for a night and decided to stay at this hotel. It is a short walk from the station but I think taking a cab would have been better. However, none of the cabs wanted to take us on such a short ride. Getting to the hotel, the staff was very professional and we were soon checked in. The rooms are amazing with a very comfortable bed and a huge bathroom with a rain shower. The hotel is on the palace grounds and is very convenient. Versailles is a small place so everything was within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Fantastic location in Versailles”
Great hotel in the heart of Versailles. Staff professional. Room very nice and big. Comfortable bed. Has a Ramsay restaurant that I did not try. Really great alternative to staying in Paris 2 slight negatives: 1) There are 2 buildings-the Palace and a modern additions. I was staying in the additional building. Advantage is that it looks onto the Palace. More a question of this not being clear when I booked 2)Add on things were very expensive and some should be standard. Overall I would go again. Versailles is a gem!

Trianon stay Narch 2010”
Overall the facilities were well above standard. The room was excellent and despite the fact that there was a convention on there was never a feeling of the hotel being "full". The area around the hotel is beautiful. The service was courteous and good. The only serious issue that I have is that despite numerous complaints and promises by the staff, the hamam was not working properly. For me this was a great dissapointment since I came to Trianon to get away and enjoy the spa. I believe that it is the hotels responsibilty to inform visitors beforehand if any of the facilities are not in full working order. On the rare occassion that this has happened to me in the past the establishment has always been ready to compensate in some way. Not so at Trianon which came as a surprise. The hotel is not cheap and as a guest one expects to get full value for ones money. In the event that I decide to make a return visit I will make sure that all facilities are working properly before finalizing my booking.

what can i say, the hotel was a dream. we were welcomed by a glorious hotel lobby, and amazing friendly staff. then our bags were dropped to our luxury room, given it was part of our honey moon, the hotel had put on strawberry's and champaign wow! we go to versailles every year and pushed the boat out this year and will do every year now! amazing!

Beautiful stylish hotel, but expensive extras”
Arriving by car is a bit confusing; the entrance is around the corner, while you get directed to the parking garage immediatly. Reception is quick and friendly. We got nice(r) rooms because our reserved rooms weren't ready yet. Everything extra is too expensive; wireless internet is 25 euro a day, complete breakfact is 38 euro, and pay-per-movie is 8-15 euro a movie. They have a beautiful swimming pool and sun terrace, although older guests seemed not so happy with joyfull kids. Staff tries to be of service on a 'US standard', but can't hide their French disorder. It's very close to the Queen's part of the Versailles palace, but about 15 minutes walk to the main palaca entrance. It's also outside the city centre of Versailles, but close to parks for walking.

Stunning Luxurious Hotel”
a fantastic experience, would definitely recommend. we had a complimentary upgrade to a garden view room which was lovely. the room was a spacious suite with a large bathroom and luxurious furnishings. we were very happy with the services and staff, and had a thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable 2 days in versailles. the restaurants were also of a very high standard. the only downside was the cost of internet! wifi should be complimentary!

Outstanding experience.”
Large rooms were clean. We had a garden view from our balcony. The food was great and the service was exceptional. A side gate to Versailles was at the front of the hotel. And the indoor pool was the best way to end the day.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
We loved all about this hotel that was up to our expectations. The best hotel to see sheeps in the parc of Versailles and really feel like in the parc. The only hotel in Vesailles that I would like to go.

hotel was very well maintained throughout and well located for versailles. food in the restaurants, even for this level of hotel, appeared expensive.

Front of house staff good but quality of room and breakfast poor ”
The hotel is quite expensive for a 4* but the location close to Versailles probably demands it. Only a 10-15 minute walk. Most staff were helpful and attentive but our room in the Pavilion was very dusty and an empty bottle of shower gel had been left on the floor and there were holes coming in one of the pillowcases. Could not get the tv to work on an English channel. Most disappointing was breakfast, where staff were trying to keep up with customer demands - general lack of crockery and cutlery and disappointing quality of hot food. I would recommend it only for the location and its grandeur.

Overlooking the Versailles gardens”
Room 411 faces the Versailles 'grounds' because calling it gardens at this part of the chateau would be an exaggeration. Nonetheless, it is a peaceful, unblocked, greenery view with a dozen of 'grazing' goats. Food was very decent and quite indecently overpriced. Overall a pleasant experience for a quiet weekend getaway.
