"The hotel is located in Wanhua District. It is near to Longshan Temple and MRT as well. The hotel is just beside the road so dropping off and pick up is easy. The pool and gym was not yet ready when i was there, but thats okay. Staffs are very kind. Check in and check out was a breeze. I also like the fact that they are well versed in English. The concierge were really helpful and went an extra mile. Thank you for taking care of me during my stay. Would love to come back. "

"I liked our triple room. I didnt expect it to be that big. The bathroom was separated by function (toilet, shower, sink and tub) so it saves time when 3 people need to prep at the same time. The entire bathroom area was covered by a curtain which was also functional. The bed may be a bit hard compared to other hotels but it was okay. I think the pillows had plastic covers inside though — a bit weird, but hygienic. :) The hotel is in the middle of a night market where we bought our dinner all 6 nights of our stay! The staff was nice and luckily we had an English speaking staff when we checked in. They even gave us a complimentary breakfast to compensate for a 30min delay with our check in. The hotel is located in the oldest distict of Taipei and a few steps away from Longshan Temple and mrt. It may be in a red light district but it was a safe area. "

"The hotel is off a side street from all the night market happening in the area. The old man in the front doesn’t speak English. I understood a little bit of what he was saying to me in Chinese that there wasn’t A/C in the small private shared bathroom room. While I was at the front a guy paid for a room for the hour which I guess doubles as a love hotel. The room was incredibly small, with only a bed on the floor and a small nightstand. If you had a suitcase you wouldn’t be able to open it. The room was basically a closet. The room has paper thin walls so you can hear the noise outside and your neighbor. On the day I was checking out, the cleaning lady barged into my room without knocking at 8 am in the morning. I don’t think I can recommend this place unless you can’t find another place to stay. I've stayed in cheaper and nice rooms in Ximen before. "

"Booked this place at the last minute to escape from an Airbnb hell during NYE. The interior designed is old-fashioned but the room is clean. The staff speaks good English. Wifi signal was good in my room and Internet connection speed was fast enough. The nearest MRT station is ~15 minutes walking distance. So be ready to walk or book a taxi!"

"My stay was wonderful here. This hotel is located in Wanhua, hence the quietness of the place compared to Ximending, yet it's just 10 mins walk to Ximending central shopping area and 7 mins to the Xiaonanmen station (line to Raohe night market). The room was larger than I expected (I booked the standard double one) and clean. The staffs were accommodating and nice. The temperature and pressure of the shower are adjustable. Minus points were the breakfast, which were just coupon to eat at either Louisa or McD (limited menu choices), and the bathroom walls which were frosted glass. It was no problem for me and it was still blurred, but some people might feel uncomfortable. Overall, a nice hotel to stay if you prefer quieter area but still an easy access to central Taipei."

"We arrived very late at the hotel(11 PM). The check-in process was very fast and we get to our room in a very short time. The staff at the counter was very efficient and friendly. We are also given the access password to the hotel WiFi the moment we check-in. The room condition is better than what I have expected. The room is clean and functional. The staff will clean our room everyday without failed. On the second night, the temperature was very cold and staff supplied us extra thick blanket without us requesting for them. Excellent services. The location of the hotel is at Wanhua District in Taipei. It is within a short walk from the Longshan Shi MRT station (which is 2 stations from the Taipei Central Station). It is also within a short walk from the Wanhua Night Market. Every day before we venture out, the staff is always very friendly and helpful in giving us suggestions about where to visit. The owner and the staff are very friendly and their service quality is excellent. On the day of departure, Taipei City was having a marathon race. Roads are closed for the event. As we have to reach the airport early in the morning we are quite worried about whether we are able to reach the airport on time. After the owner knew about this she is kind enough to arrange transportation for us so that we can reach the airport on time. The next time I visit Taipei I am sure I will stay at Ti Hwa Hotel again "
