Good For Some”
We took a chance staying somewhere that was not a hotel (solely for the location near to a key address for us) and in doing so understood that this was not a hotel. That said, if you are going to compete with hotel accommodation then the guest has certain expectations that should be stated before booking. The place was very nice, very much a welcoming, homely feel and the hosts were superb. What we didn’t like was no locks on the room doors and a shared bathroom, just a few things that we expect as international travellers. We didn’t feel comfortable with either arrangement give other unknown guests in the house. As this was a house, the walls were not commercially built, as in a hotel, and the occupant in the next room was making a range of disturbing noises all night long which we could hear all too clearly. Apart from those personal niggles I cannot fault the host or the house, but it just wasn’t for us and we expect others may want to make a more informed decision about this property.

Location was peaceful with river walk nearby. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Breakfast provided a great selection of cereals, toast and eggs with juice and coffee. Hone was hospitable and easy to chat with. Overall a great experience and environment which I will return to and recommend to others.
