An Oasis In This COVID Time”

I am travelling around the US for 5 weeks during this difficult COVID time. I found the facilities at The Warwick to be very good. The hotel was very clean and the various perks, some of which were cut back for safety reasons, were fine. The highlight of my stay was the food and service available at their restaurant which was excellent and certainly most reasonably priced. Breakfast and lunch at the time was available for take away to the rooms, while there was a choice at dinner for take away or service in the restaurant. The food was delicious, superbly prepared, and the servers were enjoyable. I would love to come back to this hotel when this crisis is over to enjoy all of the various amenities the Warwick normally has to offer.

Above average”

1. Booked this hotel because of the balcony option and because it was a last minute choice since we got stranded due to flight cancellations... Look at this sad handrail of a “balcony.” When I checked in and asked if the room had a balcony, the front desk staff said “all rooms have balconies.” Well... Beware! Because these balcony don’t even allow you to step outside of your room. 2. Room was supposed to have mini fridge. Had to call front desk to ask for one and the same front desk staff member who checked me in straight up said “I don’t think we have any more because they have all been requested out” without even checking. The funniest thing is I hear in the background on the radio as soon as I asked the voice of a female staff member saying “yeah! How many do you need?” And so I told the male staff on the phone that I heard this voice and asked him again if he has any mini fridges. He said “oh I can radio them and check. They will bring it to your room.” Did I really have to accidentally hear this radio convo to get a mini fridge that was supposed to already be in the room??? Also I called earlier about slippers and got the same “we are out” response... makes me question if it’s just lazy front desk staff. A helpful room keeping staff brought up the fridge in a timely manner. 3. Can we talk about how sad these two loose outlets on the main nightstand is? This video shows just how impossible it is to charge anything by the bed. We had to share the charging outlet by the coffee maker instead. 4. THEY CHARGE A $20 RESORT FEE even though their pool is closed and nothing is really available. When I called the front desk to ask what the resort fee is for, the same guy essentially told me that it goes to wifi, fitness center (closed) and pool that is not open due to COVID. A motel has wifi for free... I wish I looked into this further, because I see now on their website that it’s supposed to include a bunch of stuff like free bottled water at the front desk (never o

It was fine”

I only stayed for a layover and wanted something with a view which I kind of got but the other buildings definitely blocked most of it. I found hairs in the bathtub which I just ignored since I was just too tired to care. They blow dryer also didn’t work. It was fine but not as amazing as advertised.

Close to tourist attractions, so really easy. You can tell it used to be a nice hotel, but has gone downhill. It’s not dirty, but it’s not clean. (Dust, scuff marks, places where carpet is pulling… our phone charger tripped the electric…) You have to ask for any of the basics you want. Staff is kind, but it seems they might be learning? Advice wasn’t very helpful and services weren’t very quick.

Acceptable”

I want to share my experience staying at this hotel. We stayed in November with my friend. Hotel is pretty old and doesn’t look like on the pictures. We stayed for 5 days, and in 3rd day we called front desk and asked them to get room service: change our bed sheets, and get some new towels and get the trash out.. they said okay, and when we came back to our room at night our trash was still full and they brought the towels and shits.. they didn’t change the shits just left it, so we had to do it our own.. also we were out of toilet paper they didn’t bring it.. also water in the bathroom doesn’t flash very good, while you taking a shower water fills up all the way on top and next person has to wait around 30 min to get in after you.. pool and hot tub was dirty. And hot tub is just little warm.. they don’t have elevators on the parking, you have to use the stairs all the time.. only positive side of this hotel is their location! I rather to pay little more and stay in different hotel!

Downtown Seattle on a budget”

The Warwick was in an absolutely fantastic spot downtown. The hotel itself doesn't impress in terms of the facilities and the cleanliness is not the very best. But also not bad. It's older and not updated. But the price was lower than just about anything around it. So I feel I got a good deal.
