All very good except room smelled stuffy and humid. Also, the bathtub had red rust or sawdust-like residues. The residues rinsed away easily though. Overall very comfortable stay and very accommodating staff

Friendly staff, comfortable room, great location
I had a very good stay here. The hotel is right next to the Metro and very near key sites in DC. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel.

Comfortable, convenient”
Good location, great service,
Everything was great, the service staff were extremely helpful, and Metro Centre was a good place to visit The Mall and Macy's. They were even willing to help receive a parcel for me prior to my arrival. Check in was fuss free and the concierge gives good recommendations. The only improvement point would be to provide free wifi in rooms as well. The other chain hotels provide such service and I would expect Marriott to do the same.

More and more hotels don't charge the guests for in-room Wifi nowadays. I don't see a need of charging 12.99 or even 16.99 for internet/wifi per day. People usually will only need the internet connection for a short while in the hotel. Why not providing free Wifi, not only in the public area (in the lobby and Starbucks/Cafe only). Despite this, all was fine, the staffs were very friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed stay but not impressed with restaurant. booths were to low for table. Staff at breakfast were inattentive, acting like they didn't care, bad hygiene habits - served glasses and cups by holding on to rim when picking them up off the service tray.

Prima hotel raar/teleurstellend ontbijt ....”
Locatie, kamer en metro
De kamer was prima en de ligging ten opzichten van metro en cultuur is goed. Maar het ontbijt is een heel raar verhaal. Wanneer ik betaal voor mijn ontbijt verwacht ik in een marriott een ontbijt buffet van formaat. Ik miste kaas, ham en ander broodbeleg, daarnaast was het personeel niet gastvrij en met name de laatste dag zeer kortaf. Daarnaast werden wij verplicht om de laatste dag van de kaart te bestellen met allerlei restricties.... Dit is ons erg tegengevallen aangezien wij kamer met ontbijt hebben geboekt. Vreemd beleid van een dusdanige keten. Voor ons geen Marriott meer...
