Best Budget Hotel in Bangkok”
Budget Hotel with reasonably good facilities. Internet speed has increased tremendously from my last visit pre-pandemic. Managed to achieve download speeds of at least 100mbps. 8-10 mins walk to Sutthisan MRT. Highly recommended

Good: Place is close to central and MRT. Easy to access markets etc. Have facilitied that budget hotel dont provide Bad: Room is decent but do have dust and ants like others reviewed. Had to do clean the fridge on my own and coat the rubber with the bar soap so that it breaks the ant smell. Other than that its fine and spacious

Overall okay for price and location”
Mixxed on this one... Read on... An okay budget hotel in a busy part of Bangkok. There are both pros and cons for this location and I am mixed on the review as there are many things that could be improved, but location and services are a good thing. This is a budget hotel with all the basics and even a pool and restaurant. However, sort of a no frills room and it may lack proper service and support. Pros: - The location is great. I is close to a MTS station and just off a main road. This is a very busy area. There are many convenience stores and restaurants around. - The in house restaurant is good, with many food options and they will deliver to your room 24/7. Rare to find a budget hotel with room service. - The price is good for the area. Cons: - The room is just okay. The bed too was just okay; on the firm side but I managed. - There is a tub (rare), but no shower curtain. A curtain would make a world of difference. - Internet is spotty at best and when it works, it is on the slow side. Shortly after I arrived, I had a problem maintaining my internet connection. I am fairly savvy with this, and needed the net for work stuff; was one reason I chose to stay as long as I did. When the network continued to drop. I went to the desk to get assistance. I shared how I had problems connecting in my room, but seemed to be better in the hall and in the lobby. I assumed this to be the location of my room to the router and asked to change rooms. As it was late and I had been there a couple of hours, I asked to change the next day and was toldd to come to the desk before noon. The next day, I went to the desk, explained my challenge, and asked for a room change. I was told that the hotel was sold out and no rooms available. This lead to a long explanation of my problem, and of course I could get online in the lobby. After extended explanation with a language barrier, I was able to get the hotel staff to come to my room to see what happened in the room. I was able

Second time, and the last for now”
This was my second stay, and although there were several things I enjoyed, the challenges made it difficult to enjoy the hotel. Here is the good and bad: Good: - Location to food and other services, including MTS station is awesome. - The in house restaurant and room service is delicious and good price. - The room and common areas are generally clean and kept up; though it is an old hotel. The bad: - The internet here is poor at best - The staff is supportive, but there are language barriers when there is a problem. With continued challenges staying online. While trying to resolve my issues, I made some observations. First, in addition to the hotel network, I could see many hotspot networks near me. My thought here is that the hotel has bad internet, so guests use their own hotspots as a solution; something I did from time to time as well. Second, there are many long term residents in house. My thought here is that there are many residents using the network more in residence than as a guest in a hotel. I suspect many are streaming music and video content, the network seems to be most strained during the day. This may not be an issue for many, assuming you are out and about during the day, but if you need it for work it will be a problem. I suspect that about half of the rooms are long term renters and not tourists, who are using a lot of bandwidth in the process. Had I made this observation earlier, I would not have rebooked for a couple of days. While the price was okay for the area, there were other hotels in the area with similar prices.

Location was good. Within 5 min walk from suttisan MRT. Friendly staffs... Only the room toilet need renovation. Notice the room next door toilet was upgraded but not mine.

You get what you paid for. Room is clean, and cleaned everyday, water and toiletries are replenished everyday, convenience store is available 24/7 just next to the hotel. Receptionists are not that accomodating. No staffs to help with our luggage or even greet guests coming in and out. Around 15 mins walk to the nearest mrt. If you are staying here with children, grabcar is a better option. Balcony is not safe for smaller children. No proper view, our room is facing the pool of the apartment next to it. Pool is ok but no lifeguard, and no kids pool. This a good option if you are out of the hotel most of your stay in bkk.
