Ideal if you like fishing”
Pros - peaceful, lovely surroundings, nearby beach outstanding, great lake to fish. Great scenery and wildlife. Nice coffee with breakfast. Boss lady very nice and cooks great food. Cons - bungalows overpriced for standard. Breakfast not good. Some fresh'ish fruit - 2 fried eggs that had appeared to be reheated. Definately need transportation or perhaps use cycles to beach. Lots of dogs but that didnt bother me BUT may bother someone who is afraid of barking dogs. But as tgey say their bark is bigger than their bite! The place has huge potential and as far as i am aware the lady in charge (perhaps owner) is making improvements. For myself and girlfriend the place was great for 3 nights but not for everyone. If you dont like ants and other creepy crawlies then not for you!

Dog attack inside resort with risk ”
Don't live there, the resort is feeding a group of fierce dog (I took the photo & Agoda provides no channel to upload). I took a walk inside the resort in the morning & was attacked by this group of fierce dog. The dogs were chasing me all the way until I found a wooden stick to fight back. it was awful that the hotel staff did see this situation but without any action to prevent. I booked two nights but left after spending the first night & forgot the paid amount since I had big concern in personal safety. This resort named itself as SPA & health center but actually nothing related to these two items were found. The location is very remote & extremely difficult to find even during day time. We were the only & only customer on that day. The facilities is very very old where a tube TV was till placed there with poor reception & picture quality. I believe it was a nice resort in the past with houses built surrounding the lake but unfortunately is being deteriorated to haunted place due to poor management. At last, I am wondering whether Agoda has conducted any own review prior to selling this kind of junk hotel.

Although this place is far at north of Phuket, the surrounding view is very good. Very quiet. If you just want to have a good relex, this hotel is the best choice.

Peaceful yes... but a bit 'rustic'”
Surrouding, the lac, very nice, very calm and natural.
Being on a lac... of course there are mosquitoes. No big deal, but better to be prepared. You do need a car, or at least a motorcycle. The resort is far from any place, which is also why it is so calm and quiet. We rented a car at Phuket airport, so no problem. Within 20-40 km around the resort, there are so many places to go, beaches, waterfall, restaurants etc... The shower is outside, only 'cold' water, but that's fine as cold is not very cold here anyway, and who needs hot water in these climates? Breakfast is basic. We did not dine there, went around to many sea-food restaurants (mainly in Thai Mueang).

Pleasantly surprised”
food, staff and location
This place is a bit out of the way, the beach nearby was literally abandoned except for some monks (they have a buddhist temple at the seaside which was worth a look)but if you go a bit further up, then the beach is yours, try skinny dipping (at ur own risk lol). the restaurant within the accommodation was excellent. It was a bit sad that it was quiet at the hotel. We and another couple were the only ones staying there. I think it deserves some attention..Its not like your typical phuket hotel, but thats the charm of it. Oh yea the villa we stayed in was just lovely..yes villa n we paid abt $60. LOL

quiet location with warm service from staff”
quiet place, nice service, nice surroundings
The room was nice designed but not clean enough to meet regular standard. The garden and pond in the hotel was beautiful and we can do kayaking for free. The staff was very nice. We checked out very late and had nothing to eat. The staff tried to get some instant noodle and let us borrow kitchen tools. Overall, I feel comfortable to stay in this hotel.

There is nothing to recommend this hotel
We actually pulled up outside this hotel and my wife took one look at it and said that she was not prepared to stay there. It looked dreary and depressing and in need of some considerable renovation.

Quiet Nature Hotel”
Lovely Staff, Big comfortable rooms, quiet location
I stayed here because there were not many options in the area. Waterjade is quiet, relaxing and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and made me feel very at home. This is not an ideal location if you want to be close to anything, it is very isolated and you need transportation. They do have motorbikes for rent at 400 baht a day. There are no stores around - which made it kind of lovely because it is so peaceful - although a bit scary at night because you are in the middle of no where. Lots of bugs - be prepared - it's like luxury camping

True nature hotel - lots of insects and wildlife!”
Super sweet staff, large rooms, quiet location
Waterjade was both good and bad. I loved the staff, very warm and friendly and the rooms are large and clean. Be warned though, this hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere. You must have a vehicle and be willing to drive everywhere. The beach is about a 10 min drive on motorbike. The deluxe rooms have hot water only in the bathtubs and the shower is outside and only has cold water. There are bugs and insect everywhere, but this cannot be helped as you are in the woods. In my room, I had 2 inch long beetles, huge spiders, hornets and one morning woke up to at least 300 dead flying bugs carpeting my bathroom floor and counters. If you are not scared by big insects then you will love waterjade. if you are, then I would suggest staying somewhere else.

Pleasant stay, friendly staff”
The dam, kayaks for the dam, restaurant
At first glance the resort did not look like much, the gardens were quite dry and not the most attractive. I stayed for two days because I had a wedding to attend near by, luckily I had a bicycle for transport because the resort is quite far away from everything. The nearest town is 10km away and a taxi costs 400baht one way. A suggestion is to hire a scooter, thats what some of my friends did.

Location and deluxe room features
Nice hotel with great rooms: in deluxe you have spacious room, own sauna with outdoor shower and huge bathtub, and sun deck with chairs right above the lake! Not bad onsite restaurant. Great place to relax for few days. You definitely need a car to get there and move around - a lot of uninhabited beaches!

We spent 4 splendid nights in this amazing place in the middle of the nature near Thai meaung. Wild private beach 10 min by bike. Private lake. 20 min from Kaoh lak for diving sessions. Really worth staying. I'm telling you, one of the best spot of thailand for those who really appreciate calm and nature. best memories.

A wonderful Calm Meditative place”
Quiet, natural scenery deisgn
We arrived late into Phuket determined to get out of town. Driving back north it was at times hard to see the signage, but when we arrived it was a haven. If you are after a beach holiday forget it unless you have a car, but if you want somewhere to wind down, write a short story, catch up on sleep or reading, this is your place. It would be a great base from which to explore the region which we plan to do next time. The cottages are lovely. The first one even had its own sauna. The outdoor shower is cold water only, but the tempreture makes that refreshing rather than shocking. Take some wine and celebrate sunset on you r own small jetty over the wetlands as herons comes home from work.

Relaxing location with smiling service.”
Relaxing, beautiful view.
I really really like this hotel... Got big room, clean and comfortable. If I have an opportunity,I'll be staying at there again. Quite far with shopping center but you can rent the bicycle to ride around the place. Staff of the hotel will giving the map around the location. But not suitable of who is like to hang out at night. If you want to keep away city live. This is good hotel to be choice. Thank you for you warm services.
