Set on half an acre of lovely tropical gardens, and situated on the Awanui River, Waters Edge B&B Kaitaia features free Wi-Fi. All accommodation offers a patio and flat-screen TV. Guests can enjoy a cooked breakfast daily. Located in Kaitaia, Waters Edge B&B is 5 minutes’ drive from shops and restaurants. It is 10 minutes’ drive from Ninety Mile Beach. It is 5 minutes’ walk from buses to Ninety Mile Beach. Awake to a tasty breakfast consisting of eggs, bacon, tomatoes, muesli and toast. Fresh fruit is also available. All accommodation features garden views, a refrigerator and a seating area. Some accommodation offers a kitchenette. An electric blanket and tea/coffee making facilities are standard in all accommodation.

The cheerful greeting from Alistair set the tone for a great stay. Rooms clean and comfortable. Loved the fresh milk offered for the room to add to tea coffee supplies etc already provided in room Wi-Fi works well Pool is large and well maintained although it was too cool for our group to enjoy Several options suggested for local dining .we chose Indian spice and received excellent food and a discount by mentioning we were waters edge guests Breakfast was excellent and our vegetarian guests were catered for.We saw another group being offered gluten free choices. The older building doesn’t look great from outside but the rooms were spotless and well equipped both there and in the newer section Well done Alistair and family

We came in when it was sundown, a little later then expected after a long ass drive and unfortunately came when the host was preparing dinner. (Sorry about that!) That said, he was nothing short of accommodating. Everything was easy breezy, and the eggs during breakfast were so wonderful that my mates kept raving about them the whole day. Alistair also recommended a trip to Cape Reinga, which we initially wanted to swap out of our itinerary for the Waipoa forest, but after his fresh perspective on it, we went ahead with it. Didn’t get a chance to thank him for such a priceless recommendation, and the warm hospitality so I hope he sees this! Oh and the shower was so nice and warm in the winter, so we really appreciate that! Thank you!

Allister and his partner were fabulous host. They were there to greet us and then showed us our accommodations. Had a nice chat about the area and places to see and eat. Then the host made us a fabulous breakfast. Would definitely stay again and recommend to other travelers.

Accommodations was very comfortable and cosy, close to town and peaceful. Owners were lovely and very welcoming. We missed breakfast as we had to do sports early but this is available and no doubt would’ve been delicious.

A small basic bedroom”
We were unsure if we had arrived at the right place, as it is actually a family house, and the room was actually a small ensuite bedroom of the house, with separate door to outside. Parking was right next to the room. The hosts (which I think the family lives in the very same house) were accommodating as they make breakfast for you. Would prefer more hooks/means to hang your clothes etc

Une chambre propre et une arrivée assez accueillante. Aucun intérêt particulier à s'arrêter à cet endroit si ce n'est de faire une halte avant Cap Reinga. Ni surpris, ni déçus, un hébergement fidèle à ce qui est décris. Une piscine un poil décrépite sans être sale, mériterait un rafraîchissement. Nous n'avons pas testé le petit déjeuner, le prix était (contrairement à l'offre indiquée sur Agoda) indiqué dans qu'il soit compris dedans.

古風な作りで、他のホテルにはない雰囲気があり楽しめました。それだけに段差が多く歩くのに注意が必要ですが、チェックイン時に、オーナーが丁寧に説明をしてくれました。朝食もおいしかったです。
