Disappointed”
Location. Availability. Price
Disappointed as I expected more of a "business hotel". Pros: Easy to find location, accessible and reception will call a cab at any time you need. Availability, I booked last minute on a long weekend for what I thought was a reasonable price. Cons: Down pillows and duvet which definitely is not cleaned on a regular basis as we got bug bites and I had allergies. After asking for perhaps a different duvet we were told they don't have any and the best they can do is another sheet. I ended up just using the sheets. The bed was two singles pushed together with king bedding. Lots of big tour groups which are rowdy. Breakfast/dining area is small. We were lucky to get a table. The food is very limited and cold. Seems some of it was old? The tables were sticky and were barely wiped off after the previous diners. Overall, it's an alright hotel, but if you can, try find better unless you can deal with the negative points I mentioned.

Bad smell and poor service”
have its own carpark; convenience; bright room
Breakfast tasted bad; old building and dirty washroom. Not recommended unless you have no place to stay. Poor front desk service

Hit and miss”
quick check-in & check-out, secure parking, good internet
king bed was 2 beds pushed together w/ king bedding; tub was good but not the shown/advertised/promised jacuzzi tub. Large window, but looked directly into an apartment building, so curtains had to be kept closed for privacy. Good TV, internet connection, bathroom clean & towels good. Unless you LOVE Chinese congee breakfast (i.e. - you are a western-type person and/or want/expect/need western options for breakfast) skip the buffet. Hotel is safe, a good sleep, but not close to transpo or major attractions.

Clean rooms and friendly front desk”
Bathroom more clean than most other hotels in Taiwan at same price
Hotel was in a decent location for the price - but not in an area where Taxi's would frequent.

Best location and good service”
delicious breakfast and supper for free.
The hotel is located at the busy center of TaiChung, you can find irresistible taiwan traditional food at the downstairs night market in less than 10 mins walk. The room is clean and decent, toilet is in good condition too. My girlfriends like the hotel food best, breakfast and supper are free. We'd love to stay there next time when we visit taichung.

Pleasant Hotel with Free Laundry Service”
Free laundry service for all guests staying in the hotel. KFC is just round the corner. There's a food street about 300m away & ladies clothing wholesale street 500m away.
Hotel is clean. Staff was attentive & remembers which room you are staying in. Fengjia Night Market is about 10 mins away by cab. However, hotel provides 1-way transport to the night market from 6.00 pm onwards at hourly intervals. Bad wifi reception (only wireless provided, no internet socket in the room) at my floor. Only could logon in the hotel lobby. Changing foreign currencies is a hassle in Taichung - only accept USD, Jap Yen, HK$ & Chinese Yuan. And then only in selected big banks only. No money changers in the country. So, bring more NT$ when you travel there. Breakfast is mainly taiwanese porridge with side dishes, break and condiments as well as coffee.
