    Sardines in a can. ”

The beds were really nice and comfortable and the place was quite clean (for Burmese standards) and the price was reasonable. The venue was quite a way out from the main part of town and the room had 4 bunk beds squeezed in next to each other. I am 6ft tall and quite broad shouldered. I literally had to squeeze myself between the bunks as they were barely more than a hands width apart.

    Dirty, dirty and dirty”

We traveled 12 days in Burma and this was the worst hotel. Base on 12th floor, renovated from a floor apartments, this hotel too old and too dirty! The restroom too old and dirty, the water stuck and can't flush on the foor. We even saw a big black worm in the rest room. Terrible!

rooms a little dirty, but convenient location”

    the location, service was decent

We had flown into Yangon airport very late at night and checked into the hotel no problem. The staff was friendly enough, although our room was not very clean when we entered. There were dirty footprints all over the room and bathroom so we had them clean it again. There was a porch but no point in going outside because it was dirty outside. The bed was comfortable enough, and we only stayed here for one night so it was good value for money. The scariest thing was that the elevator got stuck with us and 3 locals inside the next morning. Out of nowhere the elevator completely shut down, it was pitch dark, no one could hear up. There was no emergency button or any intercom to talk to the outside. I was freaking out quite a bit, but luckily after about 10 minutes the elevator restarted and then it got stuck again. And when it restarted the second time, we managed to open the door and get out and opted to just walk down the stairs. The hotel lobby is on the 12th floor and the room was on 11th floor, so if you don't want to risk getting stuck, I suggest you walk the stairs just to be safe.

    Run-down hotel outside downtown Yangon”

    quiet, view, leaving

Chinese-run hotel in eastern downtown, poor location, poor quality building, with frequent power outages. Broken fixtures in room. Breakfast best avoided. Room size was large, but noise from reception. Not very good value for money.

Basic overpriced hotel in downtown Yangon”

    quiet, view, checking out

Very basic hotel, Chinese-owned, run by a bunch of kids, frequent power outages - so have to use another elevator. Location in far east of downtown, quite a walk to center. Staff just young kids. Food for breakfast in the Chinese restaurant among the worse in Myanmar. The only good thing about the room was its large size. The bathroom was small, toilet seat broken, and smoke from other guests came into room. Avoid.

value for money, central location with basic room”

good location, efficient service, strong Wifi

We need to go level 12 for reception and pass by a specific room to enter the lift and go down by stair to our room at level 10. Quite confusing at first. Outside our room always have a bunch of people. They standby when u check out to check the room so once u go down reception theres no lag time, amazingly sufficient. The hotel gives me impression of a single room flat and they made it a hotel. Decent stay with basic furniture. Breakfast is buffet style with eggs, corn, toasted bread, mee, porridge, orange juice and watermelon. Wifi is very strong, best places in myanmar. Even way better than airport.

In comparison with Bangkok this hotel is not attractive and must be cheap, but here in Yangon it is a good hotel. Good location - in the heart of the city. Good wifi internet! It is very necessary! Price is not very high.

As good as it gets in Yangon ”

Location is good for the pirce

I stayed there several times before. It's not the most centrally located hotel but given the sharp price increase in Yangon, it's good value for money. The staff is nice and the rooms are clean. Not all rooms are renovated to the same nice standard and some of the rooms have no windows at all. It's close from 50 street bar and restaurant.

As good as it gets for what you pay”

Given the limited choice in Yangon, it's a decent choice but....

It's getting very difficult our days to find a clean bed in Yangon. There are not enough hotels around so the better ones are very expensive. Bo Myat is a good alternative but the location is not superb but ok. Rooms are ok for what you pay and I stayed there already several times. I will stay again and then hope that the situation with available rooms will change soon.

good location, spacious and simple rooms”

location, room size, good TV selection

I arrived to the hotel at 615am, and shortly afterward one of the employees who was about to head up spotted me and, although we knew no common words or phrases, he explained to me that check-in is on the 12th floor and that I could go up. Nice guy. As I entered the lobby, the staff was waking up and getting ready for work. Check-in is 630am. This was a huge deal for me, as I had only one overnight option from Mandalay. So if your arrival is scheduled for the early AM (and I suppose most or all overnight bus rides are), then this early check-in can be helpful. Room is spacious, spartan, comfortable without luxury. Flat-screen TV, hotpot (but no coffee or tea, so if you want any you might bring some of your own). Bed is firm and comfortable. Shower waters gets hot right away. After checking in, I went outside and watched the neighborhood wake up, which was quite nice. There's a bus stop near by, so people from various walks arrive and depart. Lots of street vendors selling meat and produce, some food counters serving meals, a "bakery" that, while it does sell baked goods, seems to be mainly a Chinese/Thai cuisine restaurant. I had lunch there and it was decent and reasonably priced. A money exchange is down the road. It's a bright and busy area, not close to the main sightseeing attractions but not far either. As with anywhere within the city center, cab fare shouldn't cost more then K5,000.
