Great value and excellent, friendly staff!”

We stayed at Welina Hotel Dotonbori twice during our time in Osaka. The staff were so friendly and kept our bags for us while we were walking the Kumano Kodo for 4 days. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Definitely recommended!

Excellent stay in Osaka”

Stay for 2nights. The hotel have help us to combine twin bed into a double bed, very helpful staff. Room is big, clean and new hotel. Location is near to metro Nipponbashi line exit6 and Kitentsu Nipponbashi. You can go to Kyoto with Kitentsu Nipponbasho station. Walking distance to Kuromon market, namba street, shinshabashi and dotonbori. Two 711 with tax free available outside the street. I will definately stay to this hotel if I return to Osaka.

Excellent service at Welina Hotel”

Our family stayed at Welina Hotel in Osaka for 6 days and 5 nights. The room and facilities as well as staff service are excellent. The hotel is very near Nippombashi Station and restaurant shopping areas.

Fantastic location, clean rooms and bathroom, good breakfast.”

The location of the hotel is wonderful. Walking distance to Dotonbori and Namba. Rooms are clean and comfy, and with toiletries. Bathroom is clean also. Breakfast is good. Reception staff were okay, kitchen staff were better, I think. Walking distance to train station and 3 convenience stores. Highly recommended place. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel with great staff”

The primary reason I picked this hotel is that its location was perfect (for me) for a short stay in Osaka - quite near to at least 2 major train stations, and also a short distance away from Dotombori and Shinsaibashi-suji - and the price point per night was just within my budget. I was able to check-in at the hotel at the afternoon and have enough time to see Dotomburi for hours, for that matter, and walk back to my hotel in around 10 minutes after splurging on food. I was able to structure my Osaka itinerary better. Facility-wise, it is what you pay for. Bed was great, aircon was manageable, bathroom was fine, amenities was OK. The room I booked was a bit cramped compared to others I've scouted, but perfectly manageable for a solo traveler. I only had one backpack and one 79/29 wheeled luggage. Had no troubles unpacking/lounging/sleeping in the room. The staff was great - helpful and nice to travelers. It's also relatively newly-built, so no complaints about the room quality.

Welina wow!”

What a great place. I only stayed for couple of nights. I wished I booked longer. The location is two minutes walk from Dotonbori. But the area is quiet. Facility is meticulously cleaned and updated with card elevator and check in and out. The staff were very helpful. They can speak English very well. Breakfast was great. Food were hot and always available. Just a heads up. Avoid breakfast time between 8 to 9am. It gets packed. The dining area isn’t big. Overall I’m happy with my stay and will book here when I return to Osaka.

A good budget hotel.”

The hotel is not expensive but has a bigger room than many Japanese hotels, the bed is good, the bathroom is fine and the breakfast was good. Dotonburi is good for shopping, food and nightlife. There are some love hotels near the Welina but the area does not feel unsafe.

Good location ”

The place is few minutes walk to Dotonbori which practically gave us the opportunity to go there every night. And also near the Nippombashi station, our starting point to our daily itineraries. Breakfast is what exactly in the photos which we enjoyed a lot given our early morning start. Yes, the room is small but that is all in the description ☺️

fantastic service, extremely new and clean hotel”

i love that the hotel is conveniently located about a 3mins walk away from dotonbori yet is quiet enough for a good night's rest. there are also lots of convenience stores nearby. service staff are nice, polite and very helpful- one of them even chased after me so he could help me carry my luggage down to the subway station and even helped check what time the first train was arriving at. hotel is very clean and very comfortable. i enjoyed my stay very much and will definitely be back!

Great place to stay!”

Walking distance to the start of Dotonbori street and Kuromon Market. The hotel room is small but still manageable and the toilet is very clean with great amenities like new tubs with heating and a clear instruction on the toilet electronic controls. Staff is friendly and efficient too! Will definitely be the hotel to check-in too when we come back.

Exceptional”

even for area with love hotels its very safe with lots of security men standing around and convenient to all attractions around dotonbori. very quiet street for the area so it was a nice getaway from the noise and chaos of dotonbori which is like 5 minute walk away

What you paid is what you get”

Not the best hotel I have stayed in Osaka, but definitely new and clean. It does the job for me. Other travelers indicated that location is hard to find, but if you follow the hotel website’s map, you will definitely have no problem finding it. Room is small in general, you should expect that in most Japan hotel. Bathroom size is standard for Japan hotel as well. Hotel is only 1 month old, things are new and clean. I am only there to sleep at night and it serves the purpose for me. Hotel is surrounded by many adults hotel, but you will not feel unsafe there (even late at night)

Great location, close to dotonbori. It's overall a quiet area despite being surrounded by love hotels. Our room was really clean, and beds were comfy. Definitely a good value!

Strategic location”

Hotel very close to dotonbori and BIC Camera. Very convenient for shopping. Very close to the sennichimae railway station. The only weakness is they only have twin bed room.

The hotel is very near to Dotonbori, Kuromon market, and also subway station. You can easily go to all of them by walking. The staffs are very friendly and also can speak english.

Central location”

Central to many sights, less than 5 min walk to nippombashi station and 15 to mamba station. Very close to dotonbori and kuromon market. Small room but standard for Japan. Bathroom is a good size. Staff knows little English but willing to help.

Best hotel to stay in”

Staff was friendly and always there to help out. Hotel and the room is perfectly clean. Recommended hotel. Near to the attraction and train station not that far away. Would come back again if im in osaka..

Good hotel for the price, will definitely return”

Location is nearby but out of the busy Dotombori area which is great, but depends on where you need to go. Nipponbashi and Kuromon Market is nearby but Namba station is too far with luggage. Really really like the beds, bathroom, and washer/dryer machines in the lobby. However the rooms need more storage / table space, and the wifi can be quite unresponsive at times.

If you're looking plainly for a place to stay after going around Osaka, this is a good place to stay. Never mind the love hotels nearby, it's very close to the train, and great value for money

Excellent”

Great location given that the property was only about 150m from Nipponbashi station Exit 6. Lots of convenience stores nearby and very close to Dotonbori. The only downside was that the hotel's check out is at 10am with a corresponding penalty of ¥1000 per hour, so make sure you manage your time accordingly.
