"We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this place was. The room was clean and tidy, staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and plentiful, our only gripe with the dining facilities was the tables being too close together... even the staff had to squeeze past tables. There was plenty of space in the dining areas but the tables were not positioned with any care, something easily remedied. Overall, we had a great time in the Strand Palace and would recommend it if you go to West End shows."

"Had a wonderful 6 nights stay here. Ana, the counter staff is extremely helpful and friendly to our requests. So are the guys but I forgot their names. This is the best hotel I've ever stayed. I was given a room with a perfect view of Leicester square. The beds are comfy, the room is warm, friendly and clean. It wasn't noisy as claimed in the reviews and I am a light sleeper. I happened to be there during 2019 Pride London. My only complaint was one of the lifts are not working but overall it's a short waiting time. The location is super-excellent. I highly recommend this hotel all-time."

The room was modern, you can control all the functions of the room on an iPad which is very cool. I would definitely stay here again when I head back to London. "

"This was my 6th stay at Charing Cross and as usual, is a good, solid and reliable stay in London. Rooms can be a bit on the small side, but its a great location for business, families and tourists. Being directly next to Charing Cross Station and Tube, a pleasant and easy walk over the bridge away from Waterloo, and 3 minutes walk from the West End, its ideal for that London visit. Not cheap, but nothing any good in London ever is. "
