I enjoyed my night at the Gorordo West hotel with its art deco facade, there is a good shower even though it says there isn't one on Agoda, the staff is helpful as well, you will be happy with your choice, it is also close to the Ayala Mall where you can find just about anything you want.

Great Central Location”
This hotel is great for business travelers or anyone who needs to maximize his time in Cebu. The central location is within walking distance to Ayala Center and has easy access to other attractions. The free continental breakfast was enjoyable and really saved precious time in the morning. The super friendly and accommodating concierge made everything run smoothly and was very knowledgeable. He provided transportation at a moments notice. When your busy day is done, you get a really comfortable rest in a clean attractive air conditioned room. Business travelers need to ascertain a adequate WIFI signal before accepting a room. The WIFI does not work in all rooms!

Clean, comfortable, green, friendly”
I stayed shortly after the Bohol/Cebu earthquake while aftershocks were still being experienced, so the lift was not in service as a precaution. However, staff were very helpful and moved my booking to a lower floor and helped me carry my bags up the stairs. My room was small but clean and comfortable, and I liked the green touches, e.g. separate bins for biodegradable and recyclable rubbish. The WiFi was okay and the cafe / bookshop area was a nice spot and the inspirational quotes on the walls added a quirky individual touch. I only stayed one night but would happily return. Good service and attention to details are not a given in Philippines, so I particularly appreciated both in this hotel. Good value.

If you are looking for a place to stay - this is not it. If you are looking for a bed to lie on - this is not it. If you are looking for a room to change your clothes and get a quick warm shower - this is not it. If you are looking for a bunch of people to serve your food and clean your room- this is not it. However, if what you are looking for is a place you can call home, where you can return to and unwind after a long, hot day with your boss or just by yourself in the city, a place where you can have a long warm shower after admiring the giant koi fishes at the pond, a place where a bunch of people welcomes you and looks after you as if you are family, a place where everywhere you glance there is always an eye-opening thought written on the walls - then this is the place you are looking for. So go ahead and reserve that room before it runs out. Stop reading this and go ahead and get a reservation. Seriously. Stop reading. Stop.. I might as well leave.

Good Location”
The West Gorordo Hotel is located in the center of the city. This makes it very accessible to public transport and even eating options are of no problem. This is good since the coffee shop downstairs leaves much to be desired. The food, as well as the service, is poor. We stayed a total of four days and the last two days were horrible since there was no water! I had to wait for 40 minutes, soaked in shampoo and soap, for someone to bring me water in a bucket

This hotel is very much concerned in the environmental aspects as you could see reminders on conservation of water and forest and the ambiance is very cool as for its earth and recycled furniture made of forest woods and trees.The Location is accessible with good internet connection with free mineral water every level and with quotable quotes every room that reminds your attitude and feelings.

Clean, Green and Bloom Hotel”
Quiet place and very clean hotel. Encourages cleanliness and no plastic usage. The food in the Cafe has a lot of Vegetarian choices. Accessible to Ayala. Fast Internet. Friendly staff. However defective warm water, you are not allowed to bring outside food and eat in the rooms, only one plug for charging. Overall, it was a nice, lovely and comfortable stay.

I loved staying at this hotel. The staff is friendly and the hotel is in a great location. It's also really nice and comfortable. There is security in front of the hotel 24/7. They just got a cute puppy they hope to train to be a guard dog, too. He's too cute and sweet I think though :) The hotel was very helpful during my stay. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel's location is ideal for business travelers. It has a cafe that caters breakfast to dinner and in between. However, the menu is very limited and room service is not applicable. The ambience is also great for those who love nature and privacy. Overall, I will still opt to stay again at this hotel. It's really a value for money.

If you want quiet and secure 500 mtrs from ayala this it. But, taxi drivers either do not know this hotel or cannot find. Hotel signs cannot be seen from the road due to trees and bushes infront of hotel. Hotel is older. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast, just ok. Huge portion of rice. 50 php for an extra fried egg! 60 php for what they call "brewed coffee" Very strange murky,brownish nearly see through stuff and tasted like there were was no coffee put into the coffee mashine. Room rate inexpensive. Breakfast expensive

Everything was good. The staff were nice and friendly. The location itself is accessible to popular landmarks and malls. The facilities and amenities are also good. The only issue I have with my stay is how they require their guests to leave our assigned room keys everytime we go outside. It's their policy the staff told me and I have nothing against it. But this left me uncomfortable while I'm out most especially that I leave some of my valuables in my room. It also happened that my room was fixed without me requesting. Well its good they did that, thank you but I still think its strange. Also, they need to update the list of amenities they have since not all of them are available.

An ok place. Kind of on a busy street, but like all of Cebu. Their "no food in room" policy didn't seem like much when I booked, but turned out to be quite a pain really. Because of that, I would not stay there again. It seemed its all about them, not me.

The hotel is quite old. It would be good for them to upgrade a bit. The location is great its near Ayala Mall, just a walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful but they seem to be very strict when it comes to their policies. They have very strict policies compared to other hotels. Good for group travellers but if I am alone I would not stay in this hotel.

Good size room but not allowe guests ”
When arriving the hotel wouldn't let me check in until I paid even though I offered to leave passport as deposit and pay later, also they wouldn't allow guests to come at night even though the room was for 2 people, the next day u tried to extend my stay but when offering to show my girls ID to check her in they said all rooms are booked, very bad WIFI and stupid rules

House rules like in prison”
Right at the beginning you had to sign the house rules. Apart from the no ladies visit allowed (although booked for 2 pesons), you had to pay 500 peso for a brought snack. From the room in the lobby a door had to be opened, as well as if you wanted to leave the hotel. So permanent observation and control. I checked out after one night.
