Good and stylish hotel ”
The only problem was we had to walk 400 meters to get to the nearest tram stop
Bad Staff Behaviour”
we had 9 Booking and we have average 35-40 Nights booking in a year but unfortunately staff behavior was too bad while we had some issues into payment & booking.
Fashion In Surinamplain”
We stayed for 4 nights and our stay was great. Room was clean and neat. Very stylish and comfortable. The lobby was Fashionable. The bathroom is rather unique. Breakfast was great. Cost Euro 17 per person, rather pricey. Hotel is just 5mins walk to Tram station and another 8mins walk to Train station. Overall, great experience and I will stay again when I'm in Amsterdam.
Hotel has a very interesting and fascinating ambiance. Rooms was large and very comfortable.Whilst the location was ideal for a business meeting in a place near the hotel, it is however not walking distance to the city center, but convenient enough by train. about 25 minutes. Buffect Breakfast was good, coffee was great. Staff efficient and friendly enough. A secure place to stat.
Wonderful Hotel - Amazing Breakfast, Super comfy Beds!”
Loved our two night stay here in a Junior Suite with our adult daughter. Lovely room, nice view, high level. Breakfast was best we had during our Europe travels, and bed was the most comfy we experienced also. Lovely reception staff, although there was a mix up with them not receiving our Agoda payment, although this was rectified. Overall a very nice stay, would recommend, and would stay again. Tram into city about 5 mins walk away, but not much to do in close area re food etc.
Lovely hotel in ideal location”
Modern, clean and all facilities you need. Short team ride to centre and easy to reach from airport. As expected food and drinks pricey so best to book with breakfast and then eat out during daytime. Perfect accommodation for our short stay.
Really happy with my hotel choice, the rooms were very clean and beautiful. The checking in process was very easy, the staff was very friendly and helpful, I arrived before the check in time and there was already a room ready for me. Keep in mind the hotel is not in the center and you need a short tram ride or to take 30 to 40 minute walk to get to the center. The closest station is Surinamplein (about a 7 minute walk), we bought 48 hour day passes that cost €12.50 and took the tram everyday back and forth. To me this was not a problem and saw it as a trade off because I was staying at a better and modern hotel, compared to what I could get in the center for this price. The rooms have a separate toilet and shower, and in double rooms the door is see through glass, so ask for a room with a frosted shower door if you are staying with a friend. They give complimentary coffee in a pod Nespresso machine which they replenish everyday and was a very good way to start the day.
Very good hotel with family”
We are very satisfied of this hotel. Our two year old kid could run around free in the cafe and restaurant. Friendly stuff and good food, love the bathtub in the room. We will definitely choose to live here again if we visit Amsterdam another time.
Friendly helpful staff, beautiful room and hotel”
Room was really clean and modern, stylish and luxurious throughout staff were more than helpful, our flight landed early morning and hotel let us check in with no extra cost around 10am which was very kind as we had been up since 3.30am and I am pregnant. Could not fault
Weekend in Amsterdam”
Enjoyed our stay at this hotel although it is a little walk into the city centre but via Voden Park is quite lovely so although we had sore feet at end of weekend was very good location and we could have taken public transport. My only criticism is that the hotel did not provide any shower gel or shampoo in the leisure area which after a work out or swim I would not expect to have to take your own. The pool however was unexpected as I did not see this advertised on the website and this was a bonus. They were also a little bit mean with shower gel etc in the rooms and no hair conditioner provided. For a weekend break and minimal luggage when flying, again I would not have expected to provide my own.
Comfortable and good price in value hotel”
Service is good, located in around 20 mins from city, it is a good choice if you want I have a slicence resting place. Hotel breakfast is good enough, room is clean and bed is comfortable. Close to a Vondelpark that can a walk or cycling for green place, then walk to museum area. It is located around 12 mins from Lelylaan station where is just one stop 8-10 mins from airport. Also can walk 6 mins to a tram station to go everywhere. The only problem you may have is if you carry a heavy and big luggage, it is really a tough job to walk from either station.
Nice hotel but far from the city”
This hotel is quite nice & the rooms are spacious, food is great but the location is quite far. That being said its pretty easy to get to the city with the tram but it takes about 20 minutes (not 10). We stayed here on our last day as it is closer to the airport.
We really enjoyed our stays this hotel is excellent value for money it's interior is gorgeous loved all the manakins very different, rooms were very plush as well, it's perfect location will definitely make us go back again and will also recommend this hotel to friends and family
Amsterdam holiday ”
The only issue i had with the hotel was with the bathroom door which was totally see through with no options for privacy. This combined with all the mirrors in the room make is near impossible for you to use the toilet without being fully visible to anyone else in the room. Front desks response to my enquiry if there was a privacy button was: no there wasn't and yes he agreed that it was a ridiculous design.
Excellent hotel, good value for money”
Overall a very good hotel, with free internet and good breakfast available. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful about local attractions. Trip to the city centre required a 15-minutes ride with the tram (tram stop not far from the hotel)
Lovely hotel, good location, helpful staff”
Very helpful staff, good public transport links but we used the scooter rental and found this really easy to navigate into Amsterdam centre. Didn't use the restaurant but got room service and food lovely. Little disappointed in the sky bar as they had run out of things like orange juice!!! Comfortable room, be aware that the bathroom door was completely see through and the placement of the mirrors in the room meant you could see into the bathroom from the bed! Fab shower with plenty of clean towels.
Reasonable hotel with good facilities”
The hotel served our purpose though it is quite far from the tourist attractions. The business centre had a printer which was very useful and the Internet connection in the room was very fast and reliable. The gym was small but would suffice for a decent workout.
Great hotel all-around!”
Lovely hotel. Good views from everywhere and the rooms are very big, feels new and are in generel really really nice for the price! Great beds, really clean roooms and in generel great room standard. The hotel has a pretty relaxing pool area and a really cousy, but stil stylish "rooftop"-bar (10th floor). The only downside is that the hotel is a bit of centrum, however you can take a tram (5 min walk and then 10 min by tram) and you are right in the middle at Central Station. Was no problem at all for us (25/26 years old) but maybe for older people. However you really got something worth you money this place and i would definatly stay here again next time i visit Amsterdam. The breakfast is ok, but a bit price (18€ a person). But in generel: new hotel, great hotel facilities and you have a nice park pretty close by (Vondelpark), which you can walk through to the inner city if you want (perfect place for a picnic also).
we arrived at the hotel and was immediately impressed. we walked in and it is indeed a 4 star hotel. we were offered the breakfast for only euro compared to the usual 20 so we paid for the whole 3 days we were staying and it was worth it. it was cheaper than going to the central and looking for a place to eat. the cappucino was lovely too. initially we were afraid that the location was too far from where the center is but Westcord offers scooter rent out, and for 50 euros we were able to go around and park anywhere without hassel. it was an adventure and an experience we as a couple truly enjoyed. best choice
Nice hotel not to far from city centre”
getting to the hotel from the airport is no problem at all. just take the train. when leaving its good to know that the machines only takes coins and no bills or cards... did not have breakfeast since i feel no breakfeast is worth 18 euros a day... was a mixed business/pleasure stay. first couple of days where sigthseeing then conference at rai. getting in and out to the city centre were no problems at all. the tram takes maybe 10 min to leidseplein and another 10min to de wallen. can recommend a walk in vondelpark. getting to the rai conference center easy as well. took about 30-35 minutes including the walk to and from the subway.
