"Location is great and the free coffee an added value."

In a bustling and vibrant area on the pulse of Munich, this is a colorful hotel with tropical overtones and elegant atmospheres. The rooms are cool and zany with a touch of art and deco flare. Taking a break from the sometimes drab European hotel, enjoy great views, fast and filling room service, and nice big beds. In the evenings, roll down to the bar for a fine cocktail in an exclusive environment. For getting around the area, there are all sorts of little beer gardens, restaurants, and cafes to network. At the end of the day, make it back to the hotel for a full fine-dining experience at a reasonable rate. Enjoy the hot buffet breakfasts and surf the high-speed internet while staying in the heart of Munich and in the middle of the Bavarian luxury scene.
"Definitely recommend, good value for money."

Very good breakfast, top floor has no lift access but better room with balcony ”
Basic facilities, soap smells like hospital disinfectant and a little further from the downtown area requires extra walking but accessible by transport ...few stops. Easy connection to main railway station .
Clean but tiny”
It is a small hotel, more like a service apartment. The room was very small. And the bathroom too. The shower place only got a curtain to prevent the water but the curtain kept touching my body when I showered, which I found very unpleasant and dirty. Too small! The neighborhood was ok. 3 km walking distance to the city center. We had a good diner in a famous restaurant only 600m away. The parking is a problem. We need to park downstairs in the basement garage which is 9 euro per day. First time we use an elevator for cars. The facilities were quite old. The elevator and the room overall.
Good location, excellent staff”
Nice calm hotel located three stops on the tram from the hbf. Very nice staff, allowed us to check-in at 10 AM. The hotel has a coffee bar in the breakfast room that provides coffee fixes when needed. Definitely recommend, good value for money.
Good location not to far from city center”
We ended up booking one more night. The hotel conveniently located outside of city center but just a train ride away Hackerbrücke stop or munich ZOB. Many good restaurants/ deli’s near by like the Vinzenzmurr Augustiner Bräustuben and Augustiner-Keller. All well priced and ton of food. Also many little convenient stores and supermarkets near by. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Would come back and stay on this side of town again.
Quite good ”
The location is quite good, just 1 S-train station away from Munich HBF, or 15 mins walk. Breakfast is not included. But the breakfast is good. I would recomment to have breakfast. Staff are polite and helpful, which is very important. But the room is not sound proof. You can hear door opening of other rooms. But the hotel staff are helpful and allow me to check in early as they have rooms available. I would still say this is a nice and relatively cheap hotel for backpackers.
Great Hotel, not so great experience”
All in all, we had a good stay at the hotel. The location isn't too bad and the rooms are really nice. Breakfast was not included but we decided to pay 8€ and eat. When came time to pay, the front desk clerk refused to take our credit card for the amount of 16€ and sent us walking to an ATM. I was very disappointed to see that the hotel was prepared to send customers walking in the cold, to find an ATM, that by the way cost us something like 4€ in fees just to save a 2.5% credit card commission. Also we had the pleasure to witness the same front desk clerk blowing a gasket and starting to scream at some guy right in the lobby ( I'm not sure why she was screaming but she was literally screaming).
Far way from the Munich Haupbahnhof. It is also easy to take the S-Bahn or U-Bahn to get to the hotel. The Lobby and cafetiria is small, but the room is cozy and clean. In sum, good hotel and the price is resonable.
I had a bad experience on the first night due to the bad attitude of the co-workers during the midnight shift. I came back from an event at 5am. When I stepped into the hotel lobby, an old man was smoking by the door and yelled at me. He was like 'key!' I was shocked as I was trying to figure out what he was referring to. I finally understood and took out my room key and showed him. After that, I went to the coffee machine to make some coffee and that old man yelled at me again. He was speaking in German and I do not understand a single word. The night shift lady before him told me that this machine operates 24 hours and I am allowed to use it any time I want. Therefore; I ignored that old man and continued using the coffee machine; though he was mumbling and yelling at me in German. After that, I went to the lobby to take a break; trying to enjoy my coffee. But that grumpy old man came again and yelled at me. Speaking in German. This is really disappointing!
Breakfast Great, small space but clean and tidy. few nice restaurant within 5 min walk
Price was good for a last minute booking. Walkable but not as close to train station (Theresenweise) as some reviews suggest, especially in winter. About 1 km away from Hauptbahnhopf. Very clean bathrooms. Beds are ok but if you have a bad back and need a bed with good springs you might want to give this a miss. Free coffee all day was the best thing about this hotel.
Good breakfast; unfrendly staff and small rooms”
The hotel was quite average - very tiny rooms with a window which was complicated to open, our third bed was an open sofa with an extra tiny matress on the top, not that much facilities, but handy due to their own parking place (which costs extra 9 EUR - for your information). Cleaning was good. The staff was OK (nice one in the kitchen for breakfast -which was also good enough), but while checking out, the simple fact that I got surprised with the extra fee for parking putted already the lady from front door under stress, repeating freneticaly that parking is extra (honestly, regarding service, this was just one of a bunch of "bad" experiences I had in München - people here think they are doing you a favour while offering a service). In summary, it was OK, if you just need a place to sleep and a good breakfast in the morning, I can recommend it.
nice budget hotel”
+ cheap price + the hotel located near bus terminal and it takes a few tram stations to main train station + you can decide to have breakfast spontaneously and pay for it when you leave. + very friendly and helpful staff - the room was a bit dusty. - shower gel bottle was empty and no one changed it for us even the next day. (Luckily we had our own) -house keeping took our bath mat. So we needed to use one of our towel instead.
Short family stay”
Great value for money, but a bit disorderly: the crib was not set up when we arrived in the evening with our baby and it was a hassle to get it setup. In the end it did not work and we were upgraded into a bigger room with a double plus extra bed for our toddler instead. Welcome decision but a bit stressed at first. Location is great and the free coffee an added value. Overall pretty good.
good and friendly service”
very good and friendly service, could leave the car there for the whole night of stay and day after (of course had to pay a fee but way less expensive than putting it in a car park) the only bad thing was that there were no bath/shower shoes available
It was fine”
This is a cute little hotel. You definitely get what you pay for. The breakfast is worth the 8 euro, definitely, and I liked that they have tea/coffee available 24/7. The staff was friendly.
It is old and outdated. Not much clean. Curtains in the shower were yellow from the bottom, and is just old
The room was clean and the host was kind
Simple and clean room”
Walking distance from Munich ZOP bus station, very close to a famous beer brewery, simple room but clean and everything what we need were there.
Nice location, clean”
Its a great place to stay. Free coffee in the morning eventhough breakfast is not included. 5 mins from the nearest tram station
