"Everything at the Novotel Rooty Hill exceeded my expectations. From the size of the room (king room standard), comfort of the bed, variety of facilities (gym, pool, bowling, RSL) and the taste and variety of breakfast this was a first class stay. We stayed as a couple overnight from Melbourne on our way to a wedding in Western Sydney and the location of this hotel allowed us to avoud the traffic of Sydney and get in and out to the wedding with ease. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Stayed for two nights whilst visiting SMP at Eastern Creek. The room is compact but well laid out and comfortable. 2 complimentary bottles of water provided for each night of my stay and plenty of coffee and tea. Wi-fi was okay. No noise from neighbours and the bed was comfy albeit made up from two singles pushed together. Great rain shower with good pressure and lots of hot water for my needs. The restaurant serves delicious meals and upon check in I was given a voucher for each night of my stay for a free drink in the bistro. The room came with a continental breakfast and for an additional $5 I upgraded to the full cooked breakfast. Staff were helpful and polite in both the restaurant and check-in. If you arrive after 5pm then you must pop in the bar and let them know. A slight inconvenience but not a deal breaker. My only gripe was the party going on in the vicinity, sounded like the car park which was still active at 5am! Woke up a few times to shouting and screaming."

"Well, I had booked this hotel at the wee hours on NYE as it was one of the cheapest hotels available. However, I started my year on a horrendous note considering how I was demanded to pay an extra $50 when I had made a call to the reception at 1, asking what was the actual time to check out as no one has prompted us and we had overslept. What started off with "no worries, just come down as quickly as possible so that'd I'd be able to help you with the checkout" - lead to me needing to pay $50 even if I were to choose to stay an extra night - apparently, this is her company's rules, when I had come down all packed. She left us with no choice by charging the $50 with the card I had paid via Agoda for the booking, and just blatantly told me that she had charged it to my card. To top it all, when I had asked for my passport (which they held for security reasons), she told me it was not there and that'd she need to find it and was extremely rude about it."

"The bathrooms & toilets are shared and that is not a problem. However, 2 wash basins out of 4 were not working during my stay and that is a problem. The room lacks a mirror. There is no fridge or kettle in the room. I was told to pay a cash deposit of $50 when I checked in. When I checked out in the morning the reception at the bar was not opened. There was an instruction to drop the key card into a box near the exit door which I did. Since I paid the deposit in cash I could not get my money back. I have written to the Hotel and so far have not heard back from them. "
