"Arrived at about 3.20 pm and there was no one to check me in when someone got there it took unnecessarily long. I was in a hurry to go out and I was unable to leave the until after 3.35 pm. The room was clean and cool as the air conditioner had been turned on. TV and internet worked fine. There were tea and coffee bags but unfortunately no milk. The toilets were fairly clean. Apart from the slow check in and the lack of milk there was nothing bad. The bar was advertised as being open until late but there didn't seem to be people about when I returned so didn't try it."

"In general I liked staying at The Brown Jug, but there were a couple of things that were disappointing. The first was the shared bathroom facilities. When I saw on the website about shared facilities I imagined that meant between two rooms, but it turned out it meant every room shared them, so that was an eye-opener. The second was all the doors slamming shut. Very noisy, especially during the night. On the upside the room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, there was a very good bar fridge, the television and remote control worked perfectly as did the air conditioner. The room was also very quiet, considering there is a bar downstairs. There was karaoke happening on the Saturday night but I didn't hear a thing, which was excellent, considering the abilities of most karaoke singers. I did not try the bistro but going by the menu the meals looked quite tasty. I think this hotel is well priced and quite comfortable."

"Everything at the Novotel Rooty Hill exceeded my expectations. From the size of the room (king room standard), comfort of the bed, variety of facilities (gym, pool, bowling, RSL) and the taste and variety of breakfast this was a first class stay. We stayed as a couple overnight from Melbourne on our way to a wedding in Western Sydney and the location of this hotel allowed us to avoud the traffic of Sydney and get in and out to the wedding with ease. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Stayed for two nights whilst visiting SMP at Eastern Creek. The room is compact but well laid out and comfortable. 2 complimentary bottles of water provided for each night of my stay and plenty of coffee and tea. Wi-fi was okay. No noise from neighbours and the bed was comfy albeit made up from two singles pushed together. Great rain shower with good pressure and lots of hot water for my needs. The restaurant serves delicious meals and upon check in I was given a voucher for each night of my stay for a free drink in the bistro. The room came with a continental breakfast and for an additional $5 I upgraded to the full cooked breakfast. Staff were helpful and polite in both the restaurant and check-in. If you arrive after 5pm then you must pop in the bar and let them know. A slight inconvenience but not a deal breaker. My only gripe was the party going on in the vicinity, sounded like the car park which was still active at 5am! Woke up a few times to shouting and screaming."
