Good hotel for a one night stay”
The staff was great, hotel has own casino and stores inside the building. It's location is next to the monorail which connects to the Strip. Good price compared to other 4 star hotels in Vegas. The rooms and facilities are outdated and need renovation. Good for a night in Vegas in a calm district.
Emil, We appreciate you sharing your feedback with us! It brings us great pleasure to see that you had a wonderful and relaxing experience at our resort! Our great location provides access to several amazing options for dining and leisure and there is never a shortage of exciting things to do. We hope to welcome you back to our resort in the near future! Regards, Kai
Price is more than twice as high as pretended on agoda”
BE CAREFUL when booking this hotel with AGODA. The hotel charges a resort fee of 38 $ (incl. Tax) in addition to the rent that you pay at AGODA.COM . When you are in Las Vegas you won't use the facilities (shops etc.) they charge you for (resort fee) In the end I paid the double amount of what I had expected. Shame!
Very nice room and friendly staff ”
Very impressed with the room they upgraded us with
Shower tap was leaking for room 12-132, we thought we were given a good room close to the carpark for our convenience with the Scenic lift but it was under maintenance the entire time. The lifts closest to our room were closed every night we return to our hotel at about midnight, so it just took us a longer route back to our room. Other than that, the room is good enough for a very basic 3-4 stars, spacious and had everything we needed for our 2 nights stay that we snugged at a deal on Agoda.
Kai, We are extremely grateful for the feedback of your stay at Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino. Nothing thrills us more than knowing that our guest truly enjoy all the amenities we have to offer; from our great location to our stellar customer service. Thank you for letting us know what areas need improvement as it is our goal to exceed your expectations in every way. We look forward to your future stays where we will work even harder to provide an even richer "Vegas Experience". Warm Regards, Jackie
Good price for a full featured hotel”
This hotel used to be Las Vegas Hilton. It is a little off the strip which means if you want to tour the strip, you need to make quite a walk, a short taxi ride or ride the monorail (I recommend the monorail if it is convenient to where you want to go). The hotel is nice - good lineup of shows, entertainment, shops, restaurants, giant sportsbook, etc. The room was nice enough, but had a lingering smell like some overscented air freshener trying to cover up some other smell, not too bad, but noticeable. Staff is most places are efficient, but not overly friendly or welcoming. Everything was adequate - room rate was low, Resort Fees are an absolute ripoff ($35/night MANDATORY for Internet and gym access - stuff that is free anywhere outside of Vegas. Everything else is OBSCENELY overpriced and there are out of - with tax and tip, expect to pay $7 for a 12 oz beer, $20+ for breakfast, etc. Every expects tips for anything as a matter of course - not for doing anything particularly.
Stephen, We are honored that you had such a positive experience while visiting Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. Your thoughtful and descriptive review reaffirms that we are heading in the right direction in creating an affordable, yet eloquent and entertaining atmosphere for all our guest to enjoy. Great if you are attending a convention at the LVCC”
Right next to LVCC so a fabtastic location if you are attending a trade fair or event. The fine dining options are pricey but they have a food court and bar with VERY limited options at the sports gaming hall, Superbook. Huge screens - an absolute delight for sports fans. Barry Manilow is going to be performing in the hotel, so look out for concerts. What absolutely sucks is the wifi. I was in a corner room on the 13th floor and the wifi connectivity ranged from intermittent to non-existent. Otherwise, a good stay.
Monish, Thank you for choosing Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. We appreciate your patronage and we're happy to see that you enjoyed the property amenities and convenient location. With that said, we do regret any inconveniences you endured during your stay. It is great to know that we were able to provide you with the highest levels of service and look forward to your future stay with at our resort. Warm Regards, Jackie
Great value casino with some very helpful staff especially Mary Ann on the casino floor.... thanks !”
Very poor check out... room key locked out as we were loading car - two hours before official check out time ! It took four trips down ( long distance in huge hotel!!) to reset key and supervisor behind check in couldn’t explain problem. I was burned out before starting long journey to LA!!
Robert, Thank you for visiting the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino & and sharing your feedback. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay and found great comfort with your room accommodations. Please allow us to apologize for the issues you may have experienced with your keys during check-out. It is never our intention to inconvenience our guests in anyway and we will take the necessary measures to ensure that this does not become a recurring problem at our property. We would love to host you again in the near future and create a more comfortable overall stay for you. Regards, Kai
Amazing stay! The hotel is really huge and has this "glamorous" feel. It is located a little bit of The Strip, but you can take the monorail (5$ one-ride/passenger.) The continental all-you-can-eat breakfast had the biggest variety of food I have ever seen in my life. Totally worth the money!
Matus, thank you so much for your review. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed our Fresh Buffet, as well as your stay overall. We hope to welcome you back again soon! Sam
quick check in and check out, big room
It was ok”
end of the strip. next to monorail but quite far from anything that is happening. it's fine if you want to just stay in the hotel as there are many facilities in it. but if you wanna be in the middle of all that's Vegas, there are other places are right in the action for similar price.
Kar, We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. It does disappoint us to hear that you may not have been fully satisfied with several aspects of your stay. Through our guest comments we are able to acknowledge areas for improvement and make the necessary adjustments in hopes of providing a more complete experience for our guests. We would like to have another opportunity to welcome you back and exceed your expectations in the future. Regards, Kai
All in all it wasn’t a bad stay. Our first room was too small and they changed it without a problem. There was lipstick on a couple towels, so that wasn’t pleasant. The 100 dollar security deposit can damper things when you’re on a budget and unaware of it. Bed was comfortable, better than most hotel beds.
Krysta, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We regret to hear that your stay may not have began on a great note and that you may have received unclean linens upon your arrival. Your experience is certainly unacceptable and we will work with our management to ensure it is not a recurring issue at our property. We are thankful that our staff was able to ultimately accommodate you and we hope to have a chance to crate a more satisfying overall stay for you in the near future. Regards, Kai
Nice, clean, and on the north end of the monorail for the Vegas strip convenience.”
Nicer than expected. They do try to charge you a fee for early check-in (before 3pm) even if they aren't booked and have clean rooms available which in my opinion is just a money grab. However, if you need to kill a few hours and it's after lunch but before dinner, none of the 14 dining places are open before 5pm. Use their bellhop service to temporarily leave your luggage (for a small tip of $2-$5) and go pay for a 24 monorail pass (in walking distance from the bellhop desk) and only $10/person (I think) and spend time on the strip until check in. Overall, easily done. ✓
Joey, Thank you for sharing your great feedback with us. We are happy to hear that your overall experience was enjoyable and that you were able to enjoy the surrounding area. We appreciate your comments and hope to have a chance to welcome you back soon and exceed your expectations. Regards, Kai
Resort sales people are very aggressive”
Resort sales people are very aggressive. My wife and I were walking in the lobby when we were caught by one of their "hearders" . They hearded us off to a desk where we repeatedly said that we were not interested. One of the agents was extremely aggressive with my wife... telling her that she gets paid by commision and asking her if she was okay implying that my wife was crazy. We spoke to a supervisor who was nice but I know when someone is blowing me off. The bottom line is that the hotel was nice, we loved our room and the view was awesome. From that point forward I made it clear when they approached us that we were not interested.
John, Please allow us to apologize for the negative experience you had during your visit to our resort. As a valued guest we understand that your time is valuable to you and it is never our intention to create an unpleasant environment for you, regardless of what your final purchasing decision may be. We allow our sales staff to promote and offer some of our more popular vacation packages and timeshare properties; however, the overall customer service experience provided to our guests should certainly not be altered in any way and we sincerely apologize for any rude interactions you had with any members of our team. Your comments will be shared with members of our corporate team so we can ensure that our timeshare presentations remain the interactive and informative sessions they are intended to be. We hope that you will consider visiting our resort again in the future so that we may deliver the comfortable and fun experience that you should expect from Westgate. Regards, Kai
The room, linens, towels and view were really great. Two added bonuses were that you could collect a car rental on site and the monorail was right there also.
Perfect stay ”
Beet ever hotel !
Yuyi, Thank you for your great feedback! We are happy to have treated you to a magnificent vacation at our resort, and we would love to host you again in the near future! Regards, Kai
The rooms are big enough and adjoining that fits all of us. although we stayed for 1 night only but maybe ill be back here the next time I visit...very close to everything but away from the busy strip. parking is free and that's a good thing. its an old hotel so expect it needs to be updated. the only downside is the drain in the tub. it's clogged so I hope they will do something about it.
Thank you for your kind words! We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay with us at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino. We invite you to stay with us again next time you are in the Las Vegas area. Nicole
Good but accessible off-the-Strip hotel”
Hotel is not on the Strip (require a bit of walking to the Strip) but the big plus is it has a monorail stop right at the hotel which makes great accessibility (just have to pay monorail fee). It is a very big hotel, the decor is a bit dated, but it is clean and spacious. It has a casino (air quality here is not as bad as some other bigger casinos) and a few restaurants, including a decently-priced cafe. Security at night is good (they check people who try to access the lifts to ensure only guests are allowed). Check-in is rather slow, but not a deal breaker. Would stay again.
Friendly, great atmosphere and nice rooms!”
Loved my room as soon as I walked in, especially for the small value I paid. Great buffet, chef makes your eggs how you like and the selection of food is fantastic. Only thing is, it's not ideally located (have to walk through a dark quiet street) for 10 minutes before you reach the main road which is no problem just take taxi as it may not be safe for females at night. Great staff, lovely hotel, clean, vibrant, good relaxed family and couple crowd, safe atmosphere, great pool area too and the bathroom is nice because you get a spa bath and the room is spacious and very modern decor.
not a must”
cheaper than other places, a typical las vegas hotel, I experienced no problems and the stay was nice but would stay next time at another hotel. My opinion, stay here if you look for a cheaper accomodation at a good location.
First of all, the front desk staff is friendly. The room is big and comfortable. For dining, I only tried the pizza hut over there, and it was OK. Upon check in, you'll be a given a booklet full of voucher, though I am not interested in most of the discount because of the terms and requirements, such that you need to purchase a certain amount of money in order to get the discount. The hotel is also very near to the monorail.
