    Worth it”
The owner and Staffs are very nice and accommodating. Very relaxing place and not crowded. We just sat down on the beach chair while drinking beer and listening to the sound of the waves. They also have free games available so we don't get bored during our stay, free use of bikes and free water in every room. We played billiards, dart, human size chess and went to the zoo for a little walk. They only have one socket outside the room so it's best to bring your own extension cord if you have couple of gadgets with you. Others may find it a little bit pricey but it's worth it.

    Very nice, secluded place.”
Very nice place, overall. I highly recommend the Banana Boat ride. Awesome experience, and great value for money. Stephan, and his staff were always on hand, and very helpful. Two lovely salt water pools, and even a private zoo, including Crocodile Stephani. So, if you are with someone who you don't like, then a nice meal for Stephani :-) LOL Hey! Only joking :-))))) Great place. Highly recommended. Philip, and Joan.....

    Beautiful, well maintained facility”
Every aspect of our stay was superb. The only non 5 star thing was that the pier where you land has incredibly steep stairs and no railings. Totally unsafe foe anything but mountain goats and young Filipinos. This is probably way beyond the resort's control, but maybe Sipaway Island folks can make some improvements there. The room was nice, The food was good. Our lunch portions were big enough for 2. For dinner we split one entre and had extra rice. More than enough. If you or your companion like SMAB, bring your own. They don't have it. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

    Great for the family!”
Sipaway Island has a great resort with great service, good food and clean everything. A mini zoo and 2 nice pools for the kids. The ocean is a little rough here but the water was clean and nice at high tide. Bring water shoes as the coral is rough on your feet. Beautiful patios overlooking the ocean top off this very enjoyable resort. The owner is friendly and helpful as is the staff.

We had a great stay at WP. We loved so much the view and the serenity of the place. Everything was excellent except for the food, its not really tasty not worthy for its prices. They should hire a native cook (homecook-meal feels) or a real chef so they can serve delicious meals atleast ☺️ Good thing we brought our own food(leftovers while travelling). Other than that, the place is really best!

    Amazing island getaway”
I have visited quite a few resorts and this one was nearly ideal at a reasonable price. It offers many things to do and a beautiful setting with multiple unique and very nice pools, dive facility, zoo, free bikes to ride around the island, and much more. It doesn't have much in the way of a sand beach but there is a long pier with steps into the water to swim and snorkel. Be sure to plan to leave for Sipaway Island from San Carlos by the time the last shuttle boat leaves at 6 pm. Even with 4 days I didn't have time to try every experience they have to offer. Clearly I need to come back again.

Very nice resort, clean and well maintained, finally one place in the Philippines without noise from tricycles and without roosters. Lovely pool. Food is mostly good except for the chicken adobo. Mango shake was too watery and expensive.

    interesting resort”
this is a rather strange resort. we took a basin fan room which was perfectly adequate. lovely soft towels. there is a fair bit to do at the resort (pool, table tennis, darts) and two pools. you can snorkel from the pier but when I tried there was limited visibility due to wind. I have read adverse comments about food prices. you have little choice but to eat at the resort restaurant which is slightly more than mainland prices. my meal bill for 2 pax X 4 days was PH6,000 which I felt very reasonable we booked for 2 nights and stayed 4.

Considering so much of this resort is open air, they do a good job of keeping things up and clean. The resort has many amenities, as well as things to do and see, Even have a small zoo on site, artwork everywhere and a great restaurant with well trained staff. Can't beat it for the money. Wifi is iffy as always in the philippines!

Sipaway is little island and WP resort is hidden on the edge of it. It's very nicely done resort, with two swimming pools and lots of stuff to entertain both adults and kids. Rooms are nice, food is good - I really have nothing bad to say. Oh and the WiFi is surprisingly good too! Diving in the area is really nice - definitely above average for Philippines.

Great resort for a relaxing getaway”
Definitely one of the nicest resorts I have visited in the Philippines. The accommodation is spread around the attractive gardens, together with games facilities and a swimming pool. The island location (easily reached by pump boat from San Carlos) creates a relaxing away-from-it-all atmosphere. Our deluxe room had no TV, reinforcing that feeling, but there is free wifi for those who insist on staying connected. We loved the restaurant, attractively decorated in a filipino native style. The menu is extensive, portions are large (western rather than filipino size) and everything we tried was good. Prices are fair too. The staff were friendly also. What more can I say - we would love to visit again, strongly recommended. One word of warning. The hotel does not accept credit cards, so remember to take enough cash to settle your bill for meals, etc.

Have been there wih 2 kids 6y and 11y. They found plenty to do exploring the suroundings, the zoo or playing in the palm garden and the beach. We enjoyd to very good food (!). I also had been diving. Suba diving is good with lot of marco stuff. Good and well organized dive center wih experienced staff. You can also explore the island with bicycle. All in all a nice experience.

Animal Menagerie - Laid Back Resort in North Negros”
On a trip back from Cebu to Dumaguete, I decided to swing by Sipaway Island to see what's what. I'm glad I did — Whispering Palms is a well-run resort off the beaten path. Sprawling property, Dr. Moreau's collection of monkeys, birds, and a crocodile. If this is along you itinerary, definitely pop in for a relaxing few days.

    Feels like home”
    Friendly staff, convenient facilities, comfort
I enjoyed my stay there, although it was only for few days, I started to miss the guys. It has German quality with a touch of Philipino attitude. The staff managed to create a home for themselves and thus sharing their home with guests. Thus feels really nice. I would definitely advice it to my friends who want to stay in a good resort doing absolutely nothing except rading, sunbathing, diving, and drinking. The location is quite distant from anywhere, so to get there is a sort of a hassle. But if you ar not a budget traveler, you ask for the transfer, which is still a hassle though as you need to change transport at least three or four times - bus/car, ferry, boat, car/jeepney. But once you've made it - take all out of it. You will pay extra for add-ons to your stay such as coffees, dinners, drinks, massage anyway, because you won't get anywher else on the Isla, because you need it. Overall, it is good. Especially just married, family with kids and bunch of friends should concider it as perfect location to enjoy time together.

    Quiet, relaxing, friendly
My stay with my new fiance was very romantic. We had the pool to ourselves and the bed worked very well!! The beach was non existent, but the gardens were well maintained and there was a good variety of food. The water was not suitable for diving on our visit, but the dive instructor was very friendly.

They wont let us bring our toddlers food in our room even in the cafeteria!”
my second time here with my husband and 2 year old son. we stayed overnight this time. we were greeted not by hello but please "leave your food outside" so we did and place it in a locker placed literally at the gate... i bought food like sandwiches, grapes, chips, chocolates and some peanuts, considering we traveled from Bacolod for hours and that my toddler likes. its so unreasonable we have to walk back and forth just to fed him. we are like criminals seeking the food even at the cafeteria so its easy for us to fed our son. i got so fed up that i brought my bag when we had afternoon snack and brought some food to our room. on a different note, its a cozy place and good place to relax and reflect...but you also need to consider adjusting to your costumers need and not the other way around. No wonder you dont see much guest here any longer!

The location and facilities are OK but if you are planning for your children to play in the sand and make sand castle then this is not the resort for you. Food in the restaurant is so expensive as well. Though me and my family enjoyed our stay here.
