    Cute Structure”
The hotel is designed like a small Spanish Moorish castle with a cute courtyard and pool as the centerpiece. We enjoyed the ambience of the courtyard. The room was fine, considering this resort is a budget hotel. The food and the service of the staff were quite good. The only drawback is the cleanliness of the beach; the resort staff and, in my opinion, the rest of the population of the nearby villages and resorts need to work harder to keep the beach clean and tidy. Besides the issue with the beach and the bad roads leading to the resort from the highway, we had a very pleasant stay at this resort. A big plus is the excellent golf course 3 kilometers away.

Resort was nice but the beach was AWFUL”
The food was delicious albeit a bit pricey but since it was good 2 people, we didn't mind. The staff was nice especially the owner. However, they had a small dog which was cute but peed all over the place ang nobody cleaned it. The room we got had a faulty faucet in the sink so we made use of the faucet in the shower. The beach front was awful. There were bottles, used diapers and all sorts of trash. There were also a lot of dogs so it was kind of stinky. Also, there wasn't much to do there. We had to drive to Matabungkay Beach to swim and snorkel. The resort had a pool which aside from the food, was their redeeming facility.

This hotel is a hidden gem with lots of potential”
Rustic local vibe, peaceful and quiet, Worth the money
We didn't really expect much from this hotel, as the road going there was pretty tough, confusing, and honestly we didn't find the drive going there pleasant. When we arrived at the hotel, we were met by a very nice lady who welcomed us and introduced us to the manager who was equally pleasant. When we checked in our rooms, we knew what to expect, but we found that it was pleasant nonetheless. This hotel isn't a luxury hotel--that's for sure--but it has its own charm and it's hard to not like because of the good food and the service it provides. The beach isn't that exciting too, but it adds to the peace and quiet that makes you feel you really are away from the usual city life. The sunset, sunrise, and night sky are nice views. Overall, this hotel is good for budget weekend getaways. Only point of improvement, like most reviews here, would be to improve the road going here. It's good that this is pretty hidden from everything, but of course it's better if the roads leading here will improve.

Ill propably trcommend white castle to friends who is looking a secluded place.”
The Pros : The Staff. The pool inside the resort. The resort is quite old but i like the theme of the resort a castle inspired design. The Cons : The beach is filthy full of i hope that the the whole barangay will work together to clean their surroundings.. Someone took my Crocs Slipper. I just leave it on the shore when i come back from a swim its gone!!

Pro's - perfect for relaxation and self-reflection, quiet and peaceful, has a sunset view Con's - stores are far away, but there are foods in the hotel that can be ordered Though the place is far from the main road, they have a menu to satisfy your cravings, the sound of the waves relaxes you when you're on the tower. I recommend it for people who wants to relax, unwind and self-reflect.

Very nice place lovely quite location , pool was perfect staff really good . Very reasonable price we felt . Food was very very good although we did go to the cheaper local stalls mostly. But when we did eat at hotel it was excellent quality and taste . Wi fi was about average for philippines , ok the beach area is not the greatest but it is still ok and lovely to watch the sun go down on( usually with a bunch of local children who were very funny and polite ) if we are in the area again would stay there again for sure

    Accommodating and Pet Friendly”
The staff is friendly and the owner is accommodating. He even allowed my dogs to swim in the pool because we were the only guests. He said that dog in the pool are okay with him. It was other guests who did not like. He has a filter system that he does not turn off so the water is always clean. The food serving is always abundant. I do not have to wait long for it to get served. I can request to eat by the pool or at the veranda outside our room.

Good for families with children and perfect for couples on a honeymoon or for some quiet time. ”
Loved the ambiance, the cleanliness of the surroundings and the rooms. The pool was just the right size, but the beach was just very low tide, not good for swimming. Other than that, everything was great, the food was okay, I was hoping tho that they would have vegan friendly food on their menu. But overall, I loved the place and would definitely come back. I can’t say any bad things about this place, it was just picture perfect.

Homey atmosphere but it falls short on our expectations”
The road that leads to the place is so narrow it can fit one vehicle at a time plus the ground has been eroding for some time already. The actual resort is so tiny compared to the photo posted. We like that breakfast is included in the package but it isn't flavorful. We appreciate the tranquility of the place and it's homey atmosphere. However, it needs much improvement in their facilities.

Beach and sea full of waste”
It is a pitty and certainly damaging for tourism in the region: When we came here in late August the beach and sea was full of garbage, mainly plastic, probably swept down from Manila Bay. Neither was swimming in the sea possible nor taking a stroll along the beach. After cleaning of Boracay it is time that Government does something about the waste problem in the Manila region. The hotel itself is accomodating, the room was okay, although the design is probably not everybody's taste. Very good was the food. No room cleaning during our 2 night stay and service somewhat unable to cope with small challenges.

    Mediocre Experience”
Pros - stone's throw away from the property - average food taste - wifi (pool side and dining area) - comfy seats at the lounge area - nice hotel staff Cons - mosquitoes and flies - no refrigerator - no doormat - no warm/hot water shower options - beachfront was full of trash - partial sea-view room was given (not disclosed during the booking process) ***I would recommend this if the cons are addressed***

    Shocking!”
Location- situated in bad environment/neigborhood. Beach- disgusting, filthy, public use( fishermen, boats around , sand gray in color and the filth all over the gray sand. Street dogs everywhere that looked sick and probably rabid. We brought our lovely bulldog to enjoy the sand but guess what! Sorrounded by stray dogs The castle- photos in agoda looked promising thus we were deceived. Far from reality My strong opinion is to look for better beach as this one could not be considered at all. We got there and got the shocked of our lives, and immediately removed our selves from the premises but of course took photos for evidence. Do not be deceived by great photos. I would be very embarrased to have such a business. I wont be proud of it .

    Laid back stay”
The place is just like an ancestral home with several rooms. We stayed for overnight with my family (senior citizens and kids). There are comfortable couches and garden sets to watch the kids in the pool while grabbing a bite of snacks. Rooms are spacious. Sea view veranda rooms are so relaxing. For the food, We tried italian and filipino menu. Breakfast menu are filipino and western. All are sumptuous meal. Also, all the staffs are friendly. However, we just didn’t like the beach shore. Beach is not clean :( but there’s an island hopping to be considered if time permits.

    Still one of the BEST!”
The hotel itself was unique due to it's castle like design. Good sides are; staffs are very polite and they will serve you like a king and Queen which is the best part. Foods are great. Scenery are perfect since it beachfront. Some downsides are it's hard to reach and the sea is quite dirty... but everything's is Great. Thanks to the staff! :D

    A very tired establishment”
We chose here because it said pet friendly and on the beach. Well it was on a beach but not one you would want to use. It was littered with all sorts of rubbish and the water was not something we are used to in the Philippines, probably due to next doors effluent pipe emitting into the sea. The beach also has several stray dogs calling it home. The hotel itself said pet friendly which is why we took our small dog, but with the stray dogs outside, we were confined to the hotel grounds as they showed too much interest in our pet. Inside we didn't fare much better as we were constantly bugged by the owners dog who eventually did attack ours. When i pulled them apart, i was bitten on the knee by the owners dog. When i reported it to the staff, they could only offer me some alcohol cleansing fluid, despite blood coming from the wound. The rooms themselves are tired and in need of a full makeover. The pool area is clean but the only shining light was the food we ordered for dinner was decent, and the beers was served cold. If it had been for more than one night, we would have checked out.

Incredible sunsets, delicious food with big servings and, the friendly staff
My wife's 5 months pregnant and we traveled with our 4 and 5 year old daughters so I was a bit worried about the commute. It was a 7 hour ride from where I'm from but we had no problems finding the place. Just look for the sign along the highway that says "white castle" across balibago brgy hall (I used Google Street view to find the sign) then take a tricycle going to the hotel. The hotel looks like a castle and the kids absolutely loved it. The room we got was spacious and everything was working fine. It was better than expected. You could look down on the pool and the garden from the balcony. One thing missing was a phone but you can still reach the desk thru mobile which was actually more convenient for when you're in the beach etc. First person we met there was friendly and helpful and even drove us to places around the hotel during our stay. The rest of the staff was accommodating, they let us dine where we wanted. You could also have breakfast by the beach if you wish. Try the cordon bleau with fries and their bulalo. You won't be disappointed. We initially planned to stay for just one night but decided to book another night. They had a nice pool which had shaded areas for when it gets too hot to stay in the beach. As for the beach, you'll have to walk really far into the ocean before you reach the deeper parts. A boy in the beach told us that the tide was low that time. None of us knew how to swim so it was okay. The kids could play in the sand and the water with no worries, they were perfectly happy with it. My wife and I however wish that we had invited more people to come with us because we got bored the next day. So we went to a different beach nearby to look around but made sure to get back in time for the sunset. If you like wild parties and crowded beaches, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay however, this place is perfect.
