Last minute but worth it”
It was a last minute decision to go to Langkawi. Since it was a peak period, we didn't have much choice of places to stay. Decided on White Lodge as it's near Pantai Cenang where all the good food and bars are. The Vacation Home had 2 bedrooms with 1 common toilet. The spacious living room made it all comfortable staying. With very basic setup, you'll feel like you just move house. There's a private porch where we can park our car. Do not depend on the in-room wifi as signal wasn't that good. It's clean and well maintained. Wouldn't mind trying the chalet the next time.

Our house was really spacious - it's perfect for families with children. Rather basic inside, but there was everything we needed, including baby cot. Cleanliness and the area around house should be improved a little, but still it is reasonably priced and comfortable accomodation. Staff is friendly and helpful, pool is great and area looks quiet and safe. Location is very convenient - close to the beach, many food and shopping options around. Notice that White Lodge complex has standard small hotel rooms around the pool (very nice) and vacation homes (in the back, much less attractive area). There is a road under construction just nearby so it may get loud when it is finished.

Checking out procedure is quick and greeted by friendly staff. Definitely the White Lodge is situated at the heart of Pantai Cenang however, the accessibility to the vacation home is not that well maintained partially due to the construction works nearby. Nevertheless it is a spacious 2-room house for small company, probably a party of 4-5 but not more than 6.

Langkawi - a nice place for family travel”
White Lodge have different types of houses/rooms. The type of room we lodged should be the cheapest and looked the oldest from outside when compared with the other types of houses/rooms in this hotel. The apartment is very spacious with 2 big rooms good enough for 4 persons and a big dining and living room. The TV is relatively small - only 22 inches, but with lots of cable TV channels for you to choose. Only the bedrooms have A/C, but not in the dining and living room and toilet, so you will feel hot there. There were no cooking facilities, not even a microwave oven. One of the door lock of the toilet was out of order. Ants are running around the kitchen area and the toilet washing basin. The white bed sheets looked yellowish. Only a small blanket was put on the large queen bed. Anyway the location and the environment of the hotel are good and staff are very friendly and helpful and price acceptable. So if you choose this hotel, don't pick the type of room we lodged.

The vacation home is okay, just when it came to 5 people, it is a bit awkward as it only has 2 rooms. Besides, it should provide more bathroom and toilet. Furthermore, the astro channel should be enhanced. Overall, I will recommend my friends to stay here if they come to langkawi for vacation :)

Great location”
Stayed for 3 nights and overall experience is good. Great location! 5 minutes walk to Pantai Cenang and Underwater World. Lots of restaurants and cafes on the main street. Staffs are really friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathroom are clean, except on the first day there were some dead bugs and dust on the floor. There are no hangers in the bathroom, that is the only negative comment. Great place to stay for family.

Good environment but dirty rooms”
The staffs were quite friendly and helpful even we checked-in late. It was quite convenient as the hotel is located near to Pantai Cenang. However, the alley into the hotel was too dark at night which do not have any lamp post. We were staying at the vacation home. Overall was satisfied, but the bed sheets and pillow covers were quite dirty.

very good to enjoy my vacation. I reservated 4 people room however it's beds are large enough to stay more than 6 people. Clean but bathroom is small so It takes lots of time to wash.

Oily floor”
We booked 2 home and one of the home is very oily but the other is okay. The cleaner room has bigger living room although they are in the same row. It is located at the end of the traffic jam road.

simple and quiet if you dont give a fuss”
the family suite is large and fit 4 people comfortably. but only bathroom and in very basic condition. i wouldnt come here again unless thr rate can be around RM200 or less. the only good thing is its quiteness but there are many other motels that are quiet and much closer to the beach. i wouldnt stay here unless other hotels on my top 10 list in langkawi are full

The rooms condition are only ok, but they are more like small independent houses rather than hotel rooms. So there is plenty of space. The location is good, just a few minutes from the beach and surrounded by a combination of good local restaurants and foreign options. Go to Red Tomatoes for breakfast, just next door!!

Great place to feel the laid back village life”
Stayed for four nights, had a fridge to keep breakfast snacks. There is plenty of supermarkets who sell breakfast snacks. Used the many restaurants and cafeterias in the neighbourhood for lunch and dinner. Beach across the hotel (close to Oasis Bar Restaurant) offered nice view of islands and is quite.

2 bedrooms unit. Queit area, clean and quite spacious for 5 of us. Microwave oven available to reheat food. Cooking facilities not available. Mattresses were stiff and hard in our second room that made our sleep a bit unpleasant. Limited TV channels NJOI.

Overall OK with the expectation on motel standard. Value for money. Would be good if added security for the room on extra lock for front and back door with grille for peaceful stay. An extra air-cond will be nice at living hall.

Comfortable Family Stay”
It was a comfortable stay with friends. It would be perfect if there was an additional toilet & a dressing table, cupboard for each room as it took a long time for 5 girls to share all the facilities.
