I love our room Isle of spice under romance room. It's small and cosy...english style setting. I love the entire plot of land surrounding the estate. There's lots of beautiful flowers, greenery, sheeps & horses. Surrounded by nature. You can go star-glazing at night. Do rent the bike if you need to stay in this hotel. It's just a lovely 15-20mins ride down town. Although the hotel provides free transfer from city. But due to the rainy season, sheeps are not allowed outdoor. But we managed to feed them hay from the outside of the hut. It's really lovely. Plus I need to thank Mint the only manager in the estate who personally prepares our delicious BIG breakfast in the morning. Very big spread. I'm going to miss her FAB porridge and thai-style omelette. Only thing I can complain is the toilet & shower area in the room is not as nice as the room. There's a funny smell and the decor is not very matching to the english setting in the bedroom and exterior of the cottage house. Otherwise it's perfect place to stay.

This is the best I ever had. You pay a small amount of money and gain great experience here. I mean the service they provide is even better than those 5-star hotels. The owner of the resort is a couple. They are very friendly to pick us from the bus station and introdce the attractions and surrondings of Pai. They have a dog and a cat. Very cute animals. The whole environment is very lovely. And the room is very clean and well decorated. If I had a chance to go Pai again, I would just stay with this hotel. It is the best ever!!!

We booked through agoda and travelled up by bus from chiang Mai, so arrived a bit disorientated after 762 bends! We enquired after a taxi in Pai and the guy at the office called Noi (hotel owner) who came right out to Pai (4+km) pick us up! That would never happened elsewhere without prior arrangement. Noi felt like a friend from the start, she gave us a refreshing drink when we arrived at beautiful Pura Vida and asked if we wanted her to order us some dinner from a local restaurant as it was getting late. Noi's husband Add joined us for a beer after dinner and they're both great people. Helped sort a moped, hire car, everything! The cabin itself was perfect, exactly like the pictures and we had the one overlooking the pond with a back drop of mountains - amazing! Water Lillys came into bloom while we were there. Air con in the cabins which was great till we acclimatised to the temp. Breakfast fantastic, plenty of choice, freshly cooked and healthy. Cleaning was also spot on. There's even a cool cat called Lion (who thinks he's a kitten) who loves kids and a fuss and is entertainment in himself! It was so lovely that we decided to stay an extra 5 days but this hotel is pretty popular so for one night we were out of luck. No problem for super-Noi! She found us another hotel and arranged a lift for us as well as looking after our bag while we were away from what was beginning to feel like home! We stayed 10 days in all and it was the perfect chill time. Noi gave us advice on where to visit etc and by the time we left I truly felt I was leaving a friend behind - it was a bit emotional to be honest. Noi if you're reading this my invitation to come to England and stay with us stands, you will always be welcome in my home as I felt in yours. If you are considering this hotel consider no longer - just do it and please treat these lovely people with the kindness and respect that they'll show you. Enjoy it, we'll be back, suwadeeka

I stayed at Paiburee for 3 nights while traveling with my friend - one of our best finds yet! Not only is it right off the walking street, it is only a 5 ,in walk from the bus station, so makes traveling/getting around very convenient. The accommodations are basic but fully meet the needs of any traveler. The lady at the guest house is extremely pleasant and nice (although her English isn't the best - but I have been told that the gentleman who runs the place speaks English fluently - just happened to be in Chiang Mai at the time. The breakfast included is good too, eggs toast, sausages and coffee. Definitely recommend this quaint and conveniently located guest house.

Odour Pai is the most perfect little place to stay. Everything from the moment we got there was amazing. The drive there was beautiful, out of the town just 3 or 4 minutes on a bike. The views are incredible, it’s so peaceful and one of he best places to see sunset in Pai. Our cabin was so clean, bed was big and comfy, WiFi was excellent, shower was warm, I could go on and on. Nothing disappointed us in the slightest. The staff were so lovely too - it’s run by a family and they were so helpful with anything we asked of them. They even helped us by calling our bike rental company when one of our bikes broke and got someone to come out and help us. We would have been so stuck without them. Do yourself a favour and stay here when you’re in Pai! We felt like fools for staying in other places before coming here. Could not recommend Odour Pai more.

First of all, the resort is beautiful!from having a dreamy breakfast,room wasa very clean and cozy villas which is viewing the mountains, the place is peaceful and all you hear is nature - birds and frogs. The staff is really nice and helpful, They helped us everything we needed and more. The only reason we gave 4 stars for the location is because the resort is a bit far from the city but if you rent a scooter or a car, it's perfect and the view during the drive worth it. We enjoyed our stay so much will definitely come back!

We love this place a lot but unfortunately we only have one night so we would defo come back as we live in Chiangmai :) Everyone who work here are very friendly and helpful they would greeting you every morning with smiles. The view here is amazing we could not believe our self when the staff took us to the room we did see the photos pf the view online before we booked but in real its just more beautiful than the photo 100 times. If you look on the map its said 2.5 kg from town so when we check in we rent a scooter from town so its very convenient and again the view and the people made our trip that unforgettable. Trust us you would not regret if you book this place.

The resort is a lovely get away for a relaxing visit to Pai. The setting is picturesque and the pool is lovely with a great view of the mountains and river. The staff were fabulous and so helpful especially since the date of our stay was stuffed up (The staff at the resort were legends and sorted it all out for us thankfully), which was the most disappointing and frustrating thing not only then but when we tried to make our next booking. We would stay at this resort again.

Lovely! Perfect staff, actually owner. They gave us free upgrade and also offer the coffee/tea in the morning. Actually a cup o coffee wont cost a lot of money, but their attitude and help, really leave a good impression to me. They also help us to provide the infromation about the attraction in Pai, very helful. Moreover, I love Momo, a friendly husky and guarantee will not make you bore. Wish to visit this place again someday ^_^

The staff (the owner) was veryyyyyy nice. We booked the hotel about an hour right before we checked in. We were on the road trip from chiangmai to bangkok. When we were there, it's raining pretty heavy and we got lost. (We had a car) the hotel was difficult to find and I couldn't find it in google maps too. So, we called the hotel and asked for the direction. The owner rode the bike though the rain out at night in order to pick us up! We couldnt walk to our room yet after check in because the heavy rain. So, the owner gave us some hot coffee to drink and stayed with us for company. We talked about things that was helpful to our trip.:) The room was small but it had everything we needed. Interesting design. We were too tired to care about the surrounding that night. When we woke up, I heard the sound very loud. I thought it s still raining but it's the stream! Right in front of out room. It was very nice outside in the morning. We had coffee and toasted bread with jam for breakfast (free). It had no other guests there at that time. We asked the owner about things to do around and which way to go, then we left the hotel. It was our shortest stay but we were happy. Note: Internet access at the public area only!

we have been travelling in thailand for 2 months and lychee garden bungalows is by far the best place we have stayed. the cottages are extremely clean, they are cleaned each day. oh and the bed is so so comfortable, best bed we have slept in in thailand. the owners karni and rid are so friendly and welcoming, willing to help with any question or request. the garden is like a little oasis where you can relax and enjoy the moment. it is a little bit out of town, but that is no issue if you hire a scooter ... only a 5 minute ride into town and it gives you more freedom to see surrounding pai. the breakfast and dinner we ate there was very tasty. lychee was like a home away from home. we will definitely be returning to lychee.

We would like to recommend if you really like to get away from the commercial part of Pai as this resort is really remote from town area. The resort is just right next to the river where you can go down and soak in the cool water. All cottages are river-front, and totally made of real wood. We like the rustic feel of it. The bed is comfortable and very clean. The cottage comes with attached open-air shower and ofcourse water heater. You can ask them to prepare dinner for you. They can cook almost everything you want and the food price is reasonable. Their american breakfast is a quality type of breakfast, not with those cheap type of sausage.

The owners are so friendly! you get a free laundry. there is always water to fill up your bottle and free fruits. At first we booked 4 nights, at the end we stayed 7. Its nice and quiet around the guesthouse. you need just 5 minutes with the scooter in the center of pai. We highly recommend this place! One of the best accomodations we ever had because of the wonderful people there!

It is one of our best lodging in Chiang Mai. Far from walking street, but no problem if you rent a bike/ car. Suitable for those we seek for quiet and peaceful lodge. Enjoy the star in the night. Staff not fluent in English but friendly and helpful. Enjoy the privacy, only 5 units bungalow within the area. my only minus point is the water pressure need to improve at our room. Overall is perfect!

What an absolutely joy staying here! The bungalow is a very well built structure with a very clean and stylish bathroom. Part of its charm is that it’s remote, a few kms North of Pai. No dogs barking at all in this area, with a motorbike passing by once in awhile. Attentive host, Appa, will make sure your stay is perfect. Breakfast is a small charge extra, and worth it. There’s coffee in the room and good WiFi in your room too. I like bed the balcony with table and cushions for even more chill space to watch the fields and mountain. This place is one of my favorite places while staying in the Pai region for the past month.
