Old rooms, not well kept, unhelpfull staff.
Looks very nice from outside.
The rooms look very nice from outside but they're old and not well kept (in most rooms the TVs are not working, in some the bed is broken, in many rooms you can't close the doors and/or windows because the wood they're made from has expanded, bathrooms are also not working...). How do I know about so many rooms ? Well I had booked a big room but because of many problems with it (bathroom, doors...) we had to change and we had to try 4 other rooms before we could find one that was decent enough. Note that we ended up in a small room but paid the price for a big one, they wouldn't reimbourse the difference. Please also note that I had made a mistake while booking, I booked a day later. Instead of just letting me sleep as if the dates were correct the staff insisted that I had to pay for my first night and that they couldn't reimbourse me for the last night. It would have been easy for them just to close an eye as the hotel was empty ! I believe there was only one other customer. They barely seemed to know what Agoda was, or at least pretended to so they wouldn't give me my money back. The hotel as does the village closes pretty early (little after 5PM) and getting food after this hour is not easy, so you have to rent a motorcycle in the hotel, we did so at the outrageous price of 400THB not even for a full day with a motorcycle in bad condition. I suggest to avoid this place.

Full of promise but terrible delivery
Location and garden setting
This visit was a miserable failure. All looked great on Agoda and the price was better than right. But the place is in desperate need of a maintenance work over. The pool was empty on arrival but was filled on the second day but it had no pool pump which looked as if it had burned out long ago. The advertised Continental Breakfast was Nescafe 3 in 1 and rice soup and that not available before 8:30 despite advertising from 8. The rooms looked 10 years old and were shabby at best. One shower did not work. We were offered a room move but as one guest was disabled the move would have meant the carers were too far away, something the hotel did not understand. The ONLY good thing was the location in Baan Tawai and the cost as we spent as little time in the hotel as possible.

Beautiful traditional Thai ambiance
Landscaping, pool, suite
this is a beautiful resort, with gorgeous gardens and an inviting pool. the hotel room is actually a suite, with a king bed, sitting area, dining area, and full size refrigerator. the bathroom is not up to the standard of the rest. breakfast is very good and the staff are anxious to please. the resort is located in the extensive woodworking and handicraft village. we found the air quality to be a problem (not the fault of the resort, and perhaps something temporary). when this caused us to leave early, the hotel graciously offered to pay for our taxi to the airport.

Nice and quiet resort.
Good facilities, Quiet and good area for children.
Good resort but the a/c was too loudly. But it's alright in winter time. Good food at the restaurant but not many choices.
