Disappointed with our stay but the pool is very nice though
We stayed in Widus last August 18-19, I can say that we only enjoyed our stay because of the nice pool of the hotel, but other than that I'm disappointed with a lot of things that happened during our stay. 1. We came in at around 4pm already and upon check in, I requested for late check out since I'm with my 1 year old daughter who wakes up late in the morning. But my request was not immediately granted. The front desk guy who I spoke with didn't even bother to give me a reason why he cannot grant my request for late check out . I even beg him to extend our time even for just 30 mins. next day, but the front desk guy just told me to try to call them early in the morning next day to ask again. I can feel that he is very hesitant with my request that's why I did not bother him anymore, but to be honest I'm very upset already. Come next day, I called the front desk and thank god they consider my request. Is it really that hard to accommodate such a request in your hotel ??? I even mentioned it on the remarks/comments section in my Agoda booking that I'm requesting for a late check out. 2. Our room 526 had a very very strong smell, not a foul smelling though but it really is too strong. Upon checking in I was told by the front desk guy that a house keeper will be there in our room because of that smell. Yes we we're given a heads up but we didn't expect that the smell was that strong. When we went to our room the house keeper was there already and he brought in a machine that looks like a vacuum cleaner but I guess it’s a humidifier. Anyway, even after how many hours the humidifier was there in our room, when the house keeper removed it, the strong smell was still there, and then that night my nose and throat we're already irritated from the strong smell and I'm having a hard time sleeping. In my opinion they should've put us in other room instead, since they already have an idea that the room has that strong smell, and considering we are with a 1 year old Chi

Value for money - Yes Facilities - Yes, except that our room was at tower 2 (different building) and we need to pass by at the pool area. At that time, it was raining hard and hall going to tower 2 is slippery and wet. But the room was cozy and nice. Promptness of Staff - Satisfactory because we requested extra pillows for 3 times but none has arrived. Keycard was also deactivated at 10am, since their check out is at 11am it was supposed to be deactivated once you're already in the front desk. But all in all our stay was good.

The rooms needs to be renovated.
Booked Deluxe Room but thankful they upgraded the room with Family Junior. Unfortunately, got some issues on the room like cockroaches of fridge, shower fixtures broken, aircon leaks. The staff in the Salt resto needs more orientation on how to serve and accommodate guest in the resto. Parking area was too far from the hotel.
