We did not feel welcome AT ALL”
Info received in advance was limited and to find out dinner options or sauna availability we had to call. We wanted to ask for possibility to have sauna in the evening but we did not receive a phone number straight to the hotel. We were told to ask on arrival. Due to our late arrival -1700lt, we knew there simply wouldn't be sauna for us then...
Well, we get there around 1700lt and no-one around.
Finally we ended up at the door with a vague sign "reception". Door was locked. Lovely.
Ring a bell...and voila, a lady appears saying "hi". Temperature is some minus 5...10°C and we stand at the threshold:
- Hi, good evening...We had a booking here I presume...
- By a name?
-Hm. Go that way to the beach. There is a key in the lock of your room.
And she locks the door. Weird...
At least one would expect a simple word "welcome"... But no.
Arrive by the beach and check all doors...no keys. A bit cold and frustrating.
Look around for a while and lady pops up.
Ahaaa.... so go by the beach, but do not go by the beach, but on the opposite side of the beach at the house by the beach.
It's cold and dark and we are tired and becoming pissed. Well, swallow and walk.
She shows the room and off she goes. Not a word about breakfast or anything else...
30min later my boyfriend is having a look around the house and ends up in the dining room. Lady there again.
-Oh hey. Just looking around "public spaces".
-This is not a public space. This is a restaurant that you need to book.
-Oh sorry. About the breakfast... is it also here?
She picks up a paper that reads "Breakfast 08-0930" and shows it to him.
By now we knew we were not welcome.
Upstairs (3rd floor) neighbours woke up.
There is no insulation whatsoever to the noises from upstairs. If they're awake, you're awake. Noise is horrible.
Just when the noise people get quiet upstairs and we fall asleep, we wake up a

Hyvä aamiainen. Huoneista kuuluu puhe naapuriin. Kaunis sisustus. Hyvä, leveä sänky. Kauniit tekstiilit. Huoneen keittiönurkkauksessa saisi olla astianpesuainetta. Kahvinkeitin ja vedenkeitin olisi mukava lisä. Television kaukosäädintä ei löytynyt.
