Clean n friendly ”
Room was clenservice was amazing would recommend staying
Take care - not all is as it seems.”
Property was clean and adequate for an overnight stay. Evening meal was adequate, but nothing to write home about. Both accommodation and meal were overpriced for what they were. A $7.50 charge to provide water on the table???? It does rather beg the question why this motel and restaurant both get such high ratings, and then fail to measure up. Once you visit the place you realise why. They effectively buy ratings - they offer 5% off your meal if you show them a 5 star review you have left . . . . . . Sorry, but I prefer to deal with ethical businesses. I'd prefer not to be duped by a business advertising with unwarranted reviews. If you should decide to stay, make doubly sure you check your credit card statement. We were charged twice and I'd question if this was a once-off.
Conveniently located off the highway ”
Easy to locate, nice restaurant, good facilities although a bit away from town centre
It was roomy and comfortable and I would highly recommend the restaurant.
The Lamp in the window at the end of the day”
We had travelled up from Warrnambool , done the 3 cave tours so were quite tired as the night sky was upon us.We arrived to friendly reception staff, who had us checked in quickly and suggested we go to our room, settle, have a shower then return to the restaurant for dinner. The restaurant had a great menu/reasonable prices unless you wanted the steak. I'm not a big lover of paying over $30 for a piece of meat and then have to pay extra for sauce/gravy and extra for side dishes, however we had the lamb shanks which were delicious. The wine list was extensive with many local wines for choice. Desserts was well priced and we both chose the coffee and vanilla ice cream with whiskey sauce..........Now that's a recipe you want to get your hands on. The large room was clean/neat/tidy, good supply of tea/coffee/sugar. Bathroom had everything you need, however not a big fan of shower curtains and the bed was little too soft. Over all excellent value and would recommend and would stay again
The bed was very soft.
it was alright
Nothing not to like”
Clean room, everything you need in it, quiet area, good breakfast, friendly staff. Glad we stayed!
Expensive for basic accommodation ”
Although the room we had has been modernised and the decor is ok, the room is still quite small. More importantly the room lacked facilities such as a Microwave Oven, Toaster & dinnerware. My wife & I normally stay at Caravan Park cabins which have all these facilities for a similar or lesser daily rate than we paid at this Motel.
Pleasant,comfortable, clean and roomy”
We had difficulty locating this very nice motel because there is some problem with the GPS. Which does not recognise the street number and we were misdirected . The management should warn intending guests so that they are aware.
Clean and comfortable”
Great for an overnight stay, bed was clean and comfortable and the room had all the necessary facilities. Nice bathroom with a good shower, hairdryer etc. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
great place to stay in Naracoorte”
The towels were 2 small towels but they were soft and new.
Not a bad place”
Bed was way too soft
There was an extremely awful smell coming from the bathroom drain which stunk out the entire room....
Clean and basic”
Room was clean, but basic. Shower was nice
Great value and location”
I really enjoyed staying here. The big draw card for me was that the restaurant was on site and they served great food. On the down side the pillows could do with replacing as they were a bit too firm for my liking. Bob and Belinda make it feel more like a friendly Bed 'n Breakfast than a Motel.
I think it was overpriced, its an old hotel that has been refurbished (a little). I was given a room near the major highway, it was ridiculously noisy. It was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly.
No hooks in bathroom”
Quit and comfortable
Dated but clean”
Not much options in naracoorte”
