Excellent stay notwithstanding the gloomy weather.”
My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Willy's at a time when there was a typhoon over southern Luzon and parts of Visayas. Boracay was at Signal No. 1. We thought we won't have much of a great time on the island because we won't be able to avail of the usual Boracay attractions like the helmet diving, parasailing, etc. However, the location, service and the nice facilities of Willy's more than made up for the attractions we missed. The hotel is located in Station 1 right in front of the famouse Willy's Rock. The beach is wide on this part of the island and the water is clear. We had a relaxing time lounging on the beach chairs and a fun time swimming on water. It is not far from station 2 so you can choose to walk beach side in case you want to try out the other restos and shops. Hotel service is excellent. Do avail of their airport transfer option. They partner with an excellent transport service so your trip to and from Caticlan airport will be hassle free. The staff were very helpful with all our requests. Although the hotel looks old, it is very well maintained. We got the Deluxe room. Beddings and sheets are clean, bathrooms are spacious and functional. You can expect to sleep soundly at night because it is far from the usual party places in Boracay, no loud music or out-of-tune videoke singing drunks. My wife and I won't mind booking at this hotel again should we decide to return to Boracay.

Now my favorite hotel in Boracay”
Having been to Boracay since 2004, I have experienced staying in different hotels and resorts from station 1, 2, and 3. But Willy's Beach Hotel for me is one of the best accommodations if you want to experience and enjoy the serenity and calmness of station 1 or the party-vibes of station 2. We arrived at 7pm and the receptionists were still very welcoming and accomodating. Our room is spacious but do not expect it to be ultra-chic and modern like the newer hotels in the area. But what they lack in amenities and facilities, they make up with their staff who were attentive and friendly. Filipino buffet breakfast is included which is a good deal already. In summary, staying in this hotel will give you all your money's worth. Btw, their happy hour lasts til 9pm, which I guess is much later than the nearby hotels. #morefuninwillyshotel

Worth the price”
Willy's staff and service are nearly impeccable. The resort isn't quite as shown in pictures, showing a little wear, but still quite decent. Rooms are clean and cleaning service done was impeccable. Room staff was honest, wouldn't even take coins left on the "clean up room" card that was obviously a tip. Overall for the money paid I had no regrets at all. Got sick of Boracay itself pretty fast, but that's another story. I'll just say if you enjoy haggling and arguing and a lot of times not being able to find out what something costs until it's done (hidden "fees"), you'll like Boracay. This statement has nothing to do with Willy's though, no surprise fees, staff was very honest. Just in Boracay itself anticipate finding some arguments and haggling being very common. One great thing about Willy's is the "activities" page they give you has fair prices on it, even if you shop around on the island you'll find they kept the pricing at about the pricing you'll find other places to for most things.

Great stay, next to the beach”
We stayed for almost a week on Willy's. The staff was really caring, we got a deluxe room (206), which was bigger than other deluxe rooms, but had a shared balcony (wasn't a problem though). The safe inside the room was very small (a laptop doesn't fit). A/C worked fine. The hotel restaurant is pretty good, and at good prices (compared to other Station 1 alternatives). The best thing though is being NEXT to the beach. The hotel provides beach towels and beach chairs, and there's always hotel security staff looking over the things you leave on the chairs. We really liked the hotel, Station 1 is far calmer and nicer for swimming, and the hotel is just a walk away from other interesting sites in Boracay. Awesome stay! would defenitively return!

Our "go-to" resort in Boracay's Station 1”
Willy's is always our default and favorite resort in Boracay ever since my wife and I had a simple honeymoon on the island. We like the value for money because it's not as expensive as other beachfront hotels in Station 1 - but it still offers the same great location (in front of the iconic Willy's Rock in the Boracay waters), clean and spacious rooms, adequate amenities, great service, and a good breakfast buffet every morning. It's the best of all worlds in our opinion, especially for younger couples or friends who want a great place to stay but still want to explore and be out and around the island (meaning you're not the type who just wants to stay in the room the entire day). Some cons: slow and intermittent WIFI.

Great Location, Affordable and Friendly Staff”
Willy's location is right in front of the Grotto or what they call Willy's Rock. A famous sight in Boracay. Compared to Station 2, this place is where you can find some peace and quiet. The best place to bring your family and loved ones, if you are looking for a quiet time by the beach. The hotel staff ensure that the beach front is clean. They provide lounge beds and towels by the beach front. The rooms can be improved but wasn't much of an issue for me. It was clean and basic. We were there for the beach and not for the hotel rooms. I found the beach front restaurant very relaxing. Also it is a few feet away from Jonah's milkshakes, my favorite. I recommend Willy's if you are on a budget and you want a place to stay in Station 1 Boracay.

Perfection - couldn't ask for a better stay”
First time to Boracay (and the Philippines for me, though my boyfriend has been to Manila many times), so wasn't sure what to expect. We stayed for three nights and it was a fantastic experience right from the start. We were welcomed with a refreshing mango drink and a pretty shell necklace. Check is was very easy (although lots of information to take in all at once - maybe a piece of paper outlining everything such as happy hour, mini bar price, wifi etc would have made it better). The room (112) had a garden view and was simple, but very comfortable. The air con worked well (and provided some much needed relief during the heat of the day), cable TV was a nice touch. Bathroom was small, but fine for our requirements. Loved that there was a toothbrush supplied! I'm not a soap fan, so it would have been nice to have a shower gel instead of a soap, but that is such a minor thing to comment on!! :) The staff were so friendly and happy and nothing was too much trouble. When we checked out, one of the staff members could see we were a little anxious about our return transfer as it was late. So he called up the company for us and told us when to expect there arrival. This is such great customer service and I was so impressed by that. Location wise, you couldn't ask for anything better. Station 1 is the queiter end, away from the hustle and bustle of DMall. We walked up to Station 2 each day (several times) and although it was very hot, it was a beautiful walk. If you want to chill out and not go to far from the hotel, this is the perfect spot. If you want a bit more action, this is still a great spot if you don't mind walking 15 mins or so to Station 2. Highly recommend Willy's as a great place to stay for as few or as many days as you are in Boracay.

Willy's Beach Resort”
Willy's Beach Resort has a perfect location because of its pristine white beach view (in Boat station 1) and it is the nearest hotel to the famous Willy's Rock. Moreover, it is also very near to the famous clubs and bars in station 1 such as the Guilly's, Cocomangas, Club Paraw, etc. The room was very wide, clean, cozy and is perfect for the 'honeymooners'. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, helpful and very attentive the guest's needs from food, concierge down to room services. I hope this review helped you.

Fantastic End to Our Stay in the Philippines”
We had a great stay at Willy's for two nights in October. We had a couple questions prior to arriving and the staff was very responsive to our emails. Once we were there they the staff also helped arrange activities for us (island hopping) and airport transfer back to Kalibo on our departure (a staff member accompanied us back to Caticlan and saw us safe onto our bus). All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and very helpful. We arrived before check-in so our room wasn't ready yet, but the hotel stored our luggage so we could go out exploring until our room was ready. We opt-ed for the "Grand Premier" and its clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location of the hotel is ideal; it is right across from Willy's Rock and the beach in Station 1 is hard to beat.

Station 1 Beach Resort with good location and friendly staff to boost”
We had a lovely stay at Willy's Beach Resort. 1. Room Rate: It was worth every peso. Rates were cheaper for a Station 1 beachfront resort. 2. Location: It was the perfect spot for us. It just across the Willy's rock so it means it is somewhere between the best and quiet shores of Station 1 and the accessibility of D'Mall for anything you need. 3. Room: Room was okay. It was clean and had basic things you need: TV, a comfortable bed, refrigerator and a clean CR. 4. Staff: All the staff were super friendly! They would always greet you and give you whatever it is you need. 5. Beach Amenities: They give you fresh towels when you are in the beach area. They also set up your bed where you can lay comfortable while sunbathing.

Excellent Experience”
Our stay was simply amazing! The hotel itself was very clean. The staff was the most accommodating and genuinely friendly we have ever met. All our requests were accommodated without any hassle. For example, shortly before midnight we became hungry and didn't want to leave the hotel to eat. The kitchen was about to close and yet, the staff went back to the kitchen to accommodate our orders. Some of our family members stayed at a different hotel on Station 1 and were speechless at the service that Willy's offered. We absolutely recommend staying at this hotel! The location is another point that makes this hotel absolutely fantastic! We had a beachfront room, which was literally right at the beach. The hotel itself is right infront of Willy's Rock, so can't go wrong with this hotel. Our stay was sooo wonderful!

Super price/performance level ”
Willy's Beach Hotel offers you a warm welcome - a bit like in Tahiti, sweet. The stuff is very friendly, our Deluxe-room with view to the beach was clean, the bed was very good, I slept well, the breakfast buffet and the stunning view to the beach every morning always made my day and the hotel is anyway located at one of the best parts of the famous nice white beach of Boracay. Only small negative point: The traffic noise from the main street could be absorbed better by using new room entrance doors, but as I said, I still never had a problem with sleeping. Willy we will come back in 2 - 3 years.

Wonderful place, good location and lovely people”
we stayed at willy's for our 10th wedding anniversary holiday. boracay is a beautiful place and the stay at willy's made it perfect. our room was nice and it came with a verandah. the hotel staff were very friendly and we were always greeted with a warm smile. the location was good as it was not too near or far from station 2 (where the hotspots are). we can just take a stroll along the beach from willy’s to station 2, day or night. we had our dinners at d'talipapa, truly's place (named after the owner, nice guy) and red coconut restaurant (good beef ribs). we will definitely go back to boracay again (with the kids this time) and willy’s will be our choice for stay.

Centrally Located”
The hotel is centrally located at the end of station 1 in front of Willy's Rock/Grotto where other hotel guests come visit for pictures so at times Willy's beachfront can get busy. The rooms are of good size with hot running showers. Balcony areas are shared with a small partition. The hotel's breakfast buffet needs more breakfast items as there are more dinner and lunch items being served, however, there is an omelette station which is a plus. Happy hour is between 4-9pm and is buy one/take one. D'Mall and Talipapa located in Station 2 are all walking distance, however, you can take a tricycle for a small price. Overall, our stay at Willy's was comfortable, their restaurant menu offers a wide variety of food all served in large portions and their Halo-Halo is a must! And don't forget to buy your chori-burger stick which is a Boracay Island specialty at the nearby BBQ stand in the evening.

Beautiful beach front hotel”
We have stayed at Willy's beach hotel for 5 nights and were so pleased with a staff, spacious room with a ocean view, great breakfast buffet that had many fresh veggies and fruits to choose from and amongst all with a spectacular white sand beach and Willy's rock. If you are looking for a peaceful tropical paradise that is far away from crowded noisy Boracay, this is the place to stay in. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel with a good location and friendly Staff”
So the Standard Room at willy's does not have a window, be prepared for this. When my husband and I arrived after a 32 hour trip (NYC to Boracay) we were mortified to be taken to a small room without a window. It took quite some time to deal with the staff, but they upgraded us eventually to the Grand Boracay Suite (at additional cost, originally). The Grand Suite is amazing, with a nice big king bed, a day bed, and views of the ocean from both the terrace and sitting on the bed. The bathroom was good - the shower / tub combination was a bit awkward and the water wasn't always hot, but never freezing either. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our entire stay. The location is good, just a short walk (10 minutes?) to D'Mall, but a little quieter than being right there. IT's truly beachfront, the dining area is separated only by step and some bamboo from the actual beach. The breakfast is amazing, the best I'd had in two weeks all over the Philippines. Great mix of Filipino and American style food. The coffee wasn't so great, but there's a starbucks not too far away.

Our Stay at Willy's”
We stayed at Willy's for 4 nights and over all had a good stay. The air conditioner worked well, the TV was large and had good sound, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location on the beach was great, but the view was sort of ruined by this bamboo/plastic thing they have set up to separate the resort from the public beach. Unfortunately, we found ants raiding the room, and there were ants living in the placemats on the tables in the restaurant. The room cleaning was not so great ... cleaning was obviously done with that "pwede na" ("good enough" or "that'll do") attitude that you expect to find in the rest of the Philippines but NOT at a resort in Boracay. The refrigerator smelled awful when we opened it - like mold and/or fish. Internet service was ridiculously expensive. It's P100 (about $2.25 USD) for 2 hours, and you don't get to use it little at a time (in other words, you get 2 hours of access from the moment you log in whether you use the service or not). The food was alright - nothing to rave over but not terrible either. The restaurant service was excellent, but the food was not. Willy's may be a bargain at the price, but they seem to nickel and dime you to death on fees for other little things. The "corkage fee" really blew me away - if you bring food/drink into the resort, they charge you 50% of the value of what you brought in. If you have a massage in-room, Willy's adds a P100 surcharge. Again, we had a good time over all ... but there are better places in Boracay, and I think we'll stay elsewhere next time.

Best Breakfast Buffet Ever Found; Beachfront Too!!”
Very very thankful that we chose Willy's Beach Club Hotel for first night in Boracay. Ferry arrived after dark and all was confusing mess until we arrived at Willy's and were welcomed with shell necklace and delightful mango juice. Porters carried luggage to our rooms. Enjoyed delightful rest, but were not expecting the breakfast buffet to top every other buffet experience we'd ever found. Too good to even describe, other than superlative in every respect. Would return again gladly.

Simple accommodations yet comfortable!”
It was great staying at Willy's Beach Club Hotel. Situated right in front of the Willy's Rock and at the beachfront, it was very easy to access the beach. It is also a distance away from the hustle and bustle of the clubs and pubs which are mostly at Station 2, so we could enjoy a quiet and good night's sleep. Our room did not have a window but it was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The room is also very clean. The only issue was that there was no Wifi signal in our room and we had to use the Wifi at the restaurant. The beach beds were great although it would be good to have one in which the top can be adjusted.

Nice location and rooms”
we enjoyed that willy's beach resort is located on the beachfront of station 1, so the beach is just a few seconds/minutes away from the rooms. the welcome drinks that were served to us were delicious fresh fruit juices (we appreciate that over the other "instant-mix" drinks). the staff were also friendly and seemingly nice. the room was ok and had a shower/bathtub and balcony. breakfast was good (buffet style) and being on the beachfront made it more relaxing. we'll stay again in this hotel next time we go here.
