Close to the job fair venue”
I stayed here because it is close to the job venue, which requires 5-10 minute walk. I stayed in the new building, so it was clean. There’s even a bath tub. To go to bts Saphan Taksin, you will need to walk for 10 minutes. WiFi was okay, but you just need to keep on signing in.

The wifi system is not immediately understandable, but with a little help we managed to use the internet in the room, too. The staff are trying to help, but you need a little patience because their English is not very good.

Good if you have a double bed in the new building. ”
Important notice : The first room was two twin beds. It was because I booked it on agoda and no room with double bed left. However they nicely moved me to a double bed room. The configuration of the room was much nicer than the first one as twin beds are shaky and right in front of the aircon, so it was impossible to sleep. One important concern was the quality of the insulation. It's noisy and you believe at first that the windows are open! If some people speak in the street, you can't sleep. And many regular customers of this hotel do so. I moved to the 4th floor and after it was finally okay. Good experience overall.

    Nice and clean hotel”
We stayed here for the Search Job Fair and the hotel was ideally located, clean and great value for money. Breakfast was a bit boring (no cereal, yogurt, choice of breads, pastry etc) but everything else was great with friendly staff. Also the windows must be intended as a design feature rather than functional as they are either too low at knee level or too high near the ceiling. At the window level there is just the white wall. This was a bit odd inside the room but looks great from the outside.

Pleasant staff. Clean room. Tea and coffee making with fridge in room
When I arrived I was upgraded to the new wing which is smart, newly built and well furnished. Twin beds, air-conditioner, good shower, hot water. TV with some English speaking channels and tea coffee making and fridge. I was able to have a good cup of tea (I bring my own tea bags) and keep some milk in the fridge so I was very happy. There is a lift. As I was on business it was ideal for me.

Great location and very new room”
There are 2 buildings. The old one is very old and cheaper; the new one is very new but not too expensive
We stayed 3 nights and 4 days in the new building of the hotel. I first booked a room in the old building which cost mebaht each night; but upon my arrival, a receptionist recommended me to try a room in the new building, which was a great advice. I added 300 baht more per night in order to get the room from the new building; , which was not bad at all. The decoration was just finished a month ago. The room was not too big and too small but everything is very new and clean. Air-con is perfect; shower and bath tub were very new and we loved it. We stayed on the 5th floor and it was just around the corner of the private swimming pool. The hotel is situated in a great location because it is near China Town, the river, Silom, and other important tourist attractions. Don't expect much about the included breakfast; the food is so plain but over-priced. Wi-fi is free from the new building; you have to pay 100 baht extra to get the Wi-fi if you want to stay in the old building. Most staff at the hotel were friendly, especially those who don't work at the front desk...

    Clean, quiet rooms.
There are two separate buildings for this hotel. The older of the two has larger rooms. In the new building the rooms are quite small but with modern amenities; cable TV, flat screen TV, wi-fi, etc. The room and bathroom/shower was spotlessly clean and perfectly adequate for a single or friendly couple in terms of size. Room service and cleaning are efficient. Breakfast (included) is in a small restaurant on the ground floor; buffet style and simple yet adequate.

    OK location for riversid”
    Quiet, Near Good Indian Food
i have been using this hotel for 4 years now as a cheaper alternative for working at a conference in the royal orchid sheraton. it is about a 10 minute walk to the sheraton. i am disappointed that standards seem to have dropped and prices increased over that time. i live in thailand an use a number of similarly rated hotels. the room quality is lower than comparable hotels with a number of facilities working poorly. the breakfast, which was always minimal but ok, seems to be worse as well. in the room the tv needed a lot of gymnastics to get the remote working, the ac rattled loudly despite asking politely twice for it to be fixed, the bathroom had blocked drains.. disappointingly, the hotel now also charges for internet access. internet is cheap in thailand and available free in most hotels and coffee shops etc.. charging for it is really just greedy. there are few alternatives in the area but i'll look for another hotel next year.

    Good Location/ Horrible Customer Service!”
The location of this was central to my purpose
The staff don't give two hoots about servicing the customer. I checked in at 1:00 a.m. in the morning and was given a room that I hadn't reserved. They told me they would move me the next morning. When I went to the front desk to inquire about when they would move me, they said they had no record of my booking. I asked them how is it that they took a copy of my passport and I had a key to the room then? I had to log onto Agoda online to prove my booking, and they made me pay for internet access! This was a daily charge not included in the room, although you can travel anywhere in Thailand and order a cup of coffee and get internet access! The complimentary breakfast that came with the room was horrible, and they never refilled the bins with eggs, so much of the time they were out of food. The staff didn't care less if the customer was happy or not, and the rooms were not near as nice as they were shown on the web site. Don't stay here unless you have no other choice!

access to 5 star hotels on riverside. also a short walk to the sleaze of silom, if that is your thing. typical thai cheaper hotel rooms - clean and basic. bbc & nhk on the tv and sometimes cnn. breakfast is simple but filling - brewed coffee, toast, jams, fresh fruit & eggs. also pretty awful juice. the hotel is in a small alley with 3 or 4 cheap indian/pakistani restaurants around it. this is the gem district so there are many from the sub continent staying nearby. the slow progress on the building opposite can make front rooms noisy - ask for a back room. the freeway is closer out back but less noisy than the construction.

    Near 5 star hotels ”
Large rooms, close to jewellery street, walking distance from pier
I wanted a hotel near the Sheraton, as I was attending a conference there, so the location was perfect. The superior room we stayed in was on the 7th floor, near the lift, but very quiet. It was perfectly spacious, with a safe, a couch and a comfortable bed. The bathroom could have been a bit bigger, but there was hot water, and it was ventilated. We had wifi access, which worked intermittently in the room and was better in the reception area. Staff were friendly and polite, and the restaurant served nice Thai food. Breakfast was included in the price, and the buffet included ham or sausages, eggs, toast, and juice, as well as fried rice/noodles. We liked the Asian breakfast better. The hotel is right behind a street full of jewellery shops, and about 5 blocks from the Saphan Taksin BTS station. You can choose to walk there, or take the boat from one of the piers. There are not many eating places around there at night, but if you walk towards 3 blocks away, you will find Robinsons and lots of street stalls.

price, location near Sheraton Royal Orchid, helpful staff
third time to use the win long as a cheaper alternative when attending a conference at the royal orchid sheraton. it is also a shortish walk from silom, if sleaze is your priority. a typical thai hotel in this price range. the staff are helpful, the room is clean, if basic, and there is enough hotel water to take the chill out of the morning shower. breakfast is simple (fruit, white bread toast, jam, coffee, tea, watered down juice, eggs etc.) but fine. the hotel is a trick to find - down a lane, but that means it is away from the main road and much traffic noise. i'll happily stay again,
