A pleasant stay”
A great location from which to discover the Botanical gardens and the rest of the city is easily explored by bicycle, which the hotel offers to guests on a complimentary basis. Whilst a decent breakfast is offered, the restaurant itself is a bit of a disappointment if you choose to dine in-house. The staff in general were very friendly, and happy to assist throughout my stay.

Descent spot”
This was a "splurge" for me after a lot of travel - so I treated myself to a nicer room (with a bath tub!). Room was the same as the others rooms at lower prices except for the bathtub - which was fine, except that the water ran out both times I tried to take a bath :) The staff was nice though and accommodating. I appreciated the free bike to bike around. Note it's not that close to the center of town, so you need to tuk, which was fine for me. Loved the coffee shop down the street also and close to the gardens.

Nice and good price with friendly staff”
The hotel was good in general. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was nice, fairly clean and sufficient. The location is a bit remote and the back area near the hotel is underdeveloped.

We got all the support we requested in a very kind manner. From the staff without English knowledge we received a smile and the help we needed. The manager was very kind and very helpful. We extended an extra night. We would chose this hotel again.

Peaceful and relaxing”
I loved the views but more the peace and quiet of the hotel. Certainly does not have the facilities of a 5 star hotels, but does have character and friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again .

A great place to stay. Location is good. Spacious and clean rooms. (The mattress must have given better comfort). A good value for money for walk-in locals. A good value for money for foreigners only online. The restaurant cook some nice food.

Everything is good apart from we booked two months in advance but we didn’t get a double bed which we requested on booking. Sometimes I didn’t understand why we reserve in advance but can’t get what we wanted.

The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Near all restaurants, golf club and gardens. Small but lovely pool. Would definitely stay here again!

Schoene Zimmer, etwas "weit ab vom Schuss"”
Das Hotel liegt sehr weit ausserhalb der Stadt in der Naehe des Botanischen Gartens. So ist es angebracht, fuer Aktivitaeten eine Pferdekutsche zu nutzen (20Min zum Zentrum). Die Umgebung ist gepraegt durch eindrucksvolle Kolonialbauten. Die Zimmer sind geraeumig, zecksnaessig und sehr sauber. Das Hotelrestaurant bietet ein kleines Fruehstueck und abends a la carte zu normalen Preisen an. Wir haben uns wohl gefuehlt und koennen das Hotel empfehlen, wenn Sie den Nachteil der abseitigen Lage in Kauf nehmen.
