thoroughly enjoyed our stay at wind beach resort & Koh Tao in general. hotel was such good value for money, in a greta location ( the top end of the hotel on the main road of the restaurant/shopping area leading all the way to the bottom of the hotel which is on sairee beach) rooms are very spacious and clean koh tao is gorgeous! definately do a snorkelling day trip out to all of the bays, you will never forget it! such a relaxed vibe in koh tao, we fell in love with it!

Great stay at Wind Beach”
We had a great stay at Wind beach. Had a standard room with AC, and it was spacious, clean and practical furnished. The location is among the best a Sairee beach, near the main street and the beach clubs. There is quite loud music from the beach that ends at 2 o'clock. We were however not bothered by the noise since our room was in the main building. Every evening there's a barbeque at beach. Food in the resturant is okey. The breakfast is a mix between thai and western food with a omelett bar. Would not hesitate to go back. Highly recommended. Great value for the prize.

We really enjoyed our stay at wind beach. the staff was extremely helpful and took their jobs seriously. There were happy to answer any questions we had and helped us organize our trips without trying to "sell" us anything. we ended up with a fantastic room with a big balcony and a large bathroom. The room was clean and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Sairee beach. Hope to be back someday!

Great hostel to combine relaxing and diving!”
We had a great stay at the Wind Beach Resort! We booked our diving at Big Blue, which is next door of Wind Beach Resort. Although Big Blue offers their diving courses including accomodation, we find it not good enough so we booked our stay at Wind Beach. They have nice rooms, good bathroom. Great swimming pool and every night the best fire show (in my opinion). The restaurant and bar are really convenient. The only thing they could improve is changing the cleaning times.

Amazing stay”
I honestly didn't expect much considering how much I paid, but I actually loved the place! Let's start with the food at the restaurant which not only is resonantly priced but it's the best food I had in THAILAND! The staff is extremely helpful and the rooms were clean and great condition. They're located right in the middle of Sairee Beach and you can be to either end of the beach by walking for 10 minutes. Highly recommend it.

Perfectly located clean hotel”
I really enjoyed my stay at Wind Beach, it was in a central location to the shops and restaurants, and had access to the beach. It had great services on site, including a massage centre and tourist info (where you can book transfer to the ferry). The bar service in the evening was often slow, but I really enjoyed the nightly fire show. The breakfast was fairly standard, there could've been more variety but it was OK. The bed was comfortable and I was impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and how they were maintained. The staff at the front desk were also very helpful, I did scuba diving so I was able to leave my bag with them before checking in later in the day.

Really nice place to stay”
We recommend this hotel, it is in a great position on Sairee Beach. Near to all the facilities but not noisy. The rooms are great and the staff are friendly. We had good breakfasts and the hotel made our stay on Koh Tao very relaxing. The main emphasis around this part of the island is scuba diving - but here you could just take a holiday and enjoy the beach even if you weren't doing sport.

Best beach front hotel at centralize location. ”
1. Staffs are very good, always smile and provide information to you. 2. There are 7-11, farmasi, restaurants, cafe, bars, massage centre, etc infront of the hotels, very convenient. 3. The hotels provide bike rent, taxi boat, day tours, taxi, etc services, and the price was acceptable. We pay for taxi boat to Koh NangYuan Island and also rent the snorkeling mask from them. 4. Breakfast was limited choice, can be improve. Will stay to this hotel again if we back to koh tao next time.

We had a lovely stay at the Wind Beach Resort! Our room was spacious and clean, huge bathroom! We ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant every night! Great food, especially the barbecue :) LOVELY AND FRIENDLY STAFF!! For our next visit we'll def stay there again!

Great location, great entertainment, improvements needed for staff”
Had a 3 night stay at Wind Beach. Location is superb, right at Sairee Beach. Great entertainment at the beach after dusk. Room was clean when we arrived, but second day after cleaning the bathroom was still not clean. Also, no new beach towels. Some improvements needed for the staff.

Had a great stay at Wind Beach Resort. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was great, extremely large bathroom! Location was spot on, just a few meters from the beach where we could find a lot of resturants and good nightlife.

Nice hotel with very good location”
I booked this hotel because I got recommendation from the dive shop , Roctopus . The hotel was better than I expected and also I got upgrade to Deluxe room which was great I really felt comfortable & relax staying there. The hotel is very convenience , situated next to the beach , very nice restaurant , close to 7/11 and a good message shop opens until 10.30 PM. Staffs there are helpful , especially Pang on the front counter. All in all , it was good experience for me but the only thing that can fault this hotel is it gets very noisy at night as there are many bars & pubs in Sairee beach so you might want to take some foam ear plugs with you if you want a good night sleep.

Great location, rooms value for money.”
We stayed for almost a week and had the best of times. The staff is very good en speak ok english. The restaurant serves a good breakfast and has a decent map. The resort is in the middle of town but not to close. Waking up and having breakfast on the deck and seeing the surf is a great thing to do and can be enjoyed to the fullest in the Wind Beach.

Good location close to night life but quiet enough”
Our stay was quite pleasent (they booked the tickets back to koh Samui, anyway this works like this all round thailand). hotel is on the beach, close to shop and nightlife, quiet enough and 10 min bike ride from any point in the island. if you want to get around, you can hire a bike in 2 minutes, dive shop in hotel street (but this is easy in koh tao), and fair enough beach to stay if you dont want to go anywhere. breakfast is fine and pool nice to have a few evening beers before sunset. Restaurante is good as well. Recommended for group of friends and couples wanting a few nightlige and stay quiet at the same time.

Loved Koh Tao and found this beatiful place just by the beach. The foud at there restaurang was really good. especially chicken with cashewnuts. The bungalow was ok, we had a room with air con.

Great Resort, perfect to mix relaxing and diving”
Had a wonderful stay in the Luxury Room of Wind Beach! The resort is on the beach with spectacular fire shows and delicious bbq everynight. Rooms are big and comfy, and a nice balcony for the luxury rooms. Big bathroom, free water, good airconditioning and very close to all the diving shops. Can definately recommend this place!!

Really lovely resort!”
i really enjoyed my stay here-in a great location, the resort was relaxed and friendly, especially the staff in the restaurant area. my room was big, clean and spacious with a balcony and even though i only had a fan room it was enough to keep a good breeze going in the room even though it was warm. nice to sit and relax with a book looking out at the beach and the sea. would definatley recommend this place-i didn't dive but spoke to someone who was completing her diving course with the resort dive school and had only positive stuff to say about them.

Great Hotel”
i booked a standard fan room and i guess i was upgraded to an air con room for no extra charge. i was very happy to have air con, since i stayed there in february. this is a short walk to the beach and the pier, and i always found excellent places to eat near by since it is on a main street though town. my room was very nice, the linens were clean and i loved the bed. the furniture appeared very new and the bathroom was great. i had a small balcony, but i never went out on it. they had a rooftop pool, which is awesome. it was a great break from the beach. this place would be awesome if wi-fi was included for free, but there is a fee for the service. i would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

close to beach, but medium service and quality”
We stayed in a standard bungalow and where quite surprised, because in comparison to the other hotels we had stayed at before, wind resort was quite expensive, simple bed + mosquito net, simple bathroom, little veranda...everything was fine,no need to complain, but the other hotels we've stayed at in Ko Samui and Co were much cheaper and more luxurious than this one. Wind Resort is located in the middle of a very vivid beach, the beachfront itself is rather ssmall, so that the people basically lay in/at the restaurant of Wind Resort. But there is plenty of sandy place just a few metres away. Ther were many young people around, basically backpackers, so music and a bit of party was not far away. Cocktails and Happy Hour and Fireshows every night, many other beach pubs to go to, for young travellers: super, for couples looking for romatic beach scenery and silence - not good. The service at the restaurant was quite okay, if not interested in tourists at all. The receptionist was ignorant and not friendly at all...especially when asking him after a terrible karaoke night, if this was going to happen every night, or whether it was just an exception, since we could not sleep at all that night...he just ignored us and pretended to do something very important instead. but all in all, okay...for young people who want to experience beach, sea, party.

This hotel is located just a front of the beach, so resort atmosphere is so great! Guest can enjoy beatiful sunset from the hotel restaurant, and easy to communicate with other hotel guests. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Restaurants and bars are located near the hotel, so easy to find a nice place for a breakfast, dinner, night life and travel agencies for day tours, etc.
