My two greatest discomforts and disappointments were 1)The black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom took the cake. 2) The stove looked like it threw up. 3) The tub had peeled paint and a nasty germy look to it. It, also had the hot water knob missing. We were there for 2 days, when I reported it to the guy at the front desk, he came up to turn it on and, he promised to have someone fix it the mext morning....that NEVER happened. The good thing about it is that it was right on the beach, just like I want. The palm trees in the garden and the banister blocked us from having a comfortable view on the deck but, it was a lovely view of the garden and, an okay view of the ocean if you stand up. It wasn't worth what I paid for it. I could have gotten a much nicer place for the price, had I not waited until the last minute. The location helped me keep my mind off of the aforementioned.

I was nervous about booking after reading reviews, but most of the negative ones seem blown out of proportion. The place was NOT horribly infested with bugs crawling everywhere. But I did see one or two roaches in four days, which is really the most negative thing I have to say. Some of the surfaces were a little worn, but nothing unusual for busy Myrtle Beach. I’ve been to a more popular, more expensive resort that was in far more need of repairs than this place. The carpet did have a stain and could probably have been a little cleaner. But everything else was clean. The view from my room was amazing. The hotel staff were all very nice and responsive to my questions. Amazing views of the sunrise from the beach and very close to the pier. Restaurants and amusements in walking distance. Multiple pools which were cleaned daily. Adequate, free parking. I would probably stay again.
