Worst stay
Noting good except view from terrace
This hotel is 13 kms (30 minutes’ drive) from munnar center and down a steep hill from the main road. first impressions was it looked a bit like a "work in progress" construction site. Windy Hills is definitely not a place to stay at. A small hotel with very less occupancy, the hotel lacks staff to support the services. it has fantastic views looking down the valley below. The rooms are spacious but lack some very basic necessities like No geyser ; no running hot water; Very limited toiletries: Old and dirty towels, linen; The room service closes at 9 PM and you have to call the hotel manager on his cell phone for services (there is limited network connectivity too); Extremely limited menu…..Breakfast was too bad (provided by hotel), Restaurant is closed and food is severed only to the rooms after 45mitutes to 1 hrs after too much reminders. Rooms were a bit grubby and the hotel looked a bit like an ongoing construction site. it’s dangerous in the night/rain to use that road. We have cut short our stay by one day and even loose money paid in advance. overall an worst stay

the staff is friendly and service with a smile...
the room is big, awesome view from your room...
i'm travelling with my working colleagues(2 male & 2 female). had a local driver, so no problem to locate the hotel. friendly staff, binu is helpful and service with a smile. the living room is big with fantastic view and the dinning room is big too with tv. good for family. the weather at night is really cold...but not to worry, there is hot water for you to shower.

Hard to find and well out of town.
Mounain views at sunrise.
No signage on the main road and a "goat track" for access and even the taxi driver had to ask the locals,so first impressions were not good.Second impressions were better with huge rooms, kichen, lounge, dining and bathroom, but third impression not so good as water damage made kitchen unuseable and general cleanliness was poor with towels so worn we had to swap with another room.It was probabley lovely when new and maybe the section under construction will be better, but it really on suits a one night stopover on the way to Kumily and although the staff were friendly,it all seemed to be run on a shoestring budget.

Great View, large rooms with lounge, bit grubby
View, Room size, separate large lounge with lounge suite, comfy chairs
this hotel is 13kms from munnar and down a steep hill from the main road. there is a bus stop to munnar on the main road. first impressions was it looked a bit like a "work in progress" construction site. it has fantastic views looking down the valley below. staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. our rooms were large with separate bedroom (with view) and 2 lounge chairs, bathroom with shower (and hot water) large separate lounge & kitchen (kitchen not operating) and one of the two rooms we booked had a balcony. breakfast was standard (provided by hotel), but restaurant was being renovated so we ate next door at great escapes, which served well prepared meals. rooms were a bit grubby and the hotel looked a bit like an ongoing construction site. overall an enjoyable stay
