Wingate's location is great and reception staff was kind and polite. However, there's no complimentary water in the room. Coffee in the dining area is not hot and no [hot] chocolate drink offered during breakfast. Also, the bread toaster was not functioning well which caused the fire alarm to go off and it took a while before staff can fix the very loud alarm in the entire building. Another concern is, during booking, there was no mention of security deposit, which was charged to my credit card, out right, upon checking in the hotel. Considering the room rate, services should be improved for better business outcome.

Comfortable bed, nice staff. Whirlpool tub was barely lukewarm and half of the jets were not working. Elevator vinyl floors were very dirty all weekend…. Weren’t cleaned once the whole time. Okay location. Good value even with the couple of not-so-desirable things I mentioned.

There was problems from the start. Room key wouldn’t work, smoke detector beeping, got new room. Different room: bathroom fan not working, hot water in bathroom sink not working. Dirty walls, dirty bed skirt. Lobby furniture stained and filthy. Hot tub wasn’t working. Lots and lots of issues. We also had to wait 30min just for a room. When I complained to the GM was told short staff and no incentive to stay was offered and was told that there was no maintenance on duty. Very disappointed . The Overall customer service just wasn’t there!

The staff are so helpful and accommodating and went the extra mile for us. I had three kids with me and they helped me find an extra rollaway bed. The hot tub was over chlorined and hurt our faces and lungs. Breakfast was perfect for feeding young kids before we left on our journey. The bathroom had mold and could use a better clean. But for under $100 - extremely good deal!

Condition of the property has really declined in past few years. Lobby furniture was dirty , room was not well cleaned, frayed towels, cracked tiles in bathroom, small things that give an overall bad impression.

For a relatively-new, 3-star hotel, this place was unimpressive. Sections of the decorative panels in the lobby were falling apart. The baseboards, tiles, chairs & couches in the lobby area were quite dirty. A tile In the elevator was broken & there was no ice machine on our floor. In our room, the grout on the bathroom floor & in the shower was dirty. There was a very bright halogen light that was supposed to be shining on the flags outside, but the light managed to shine into the room as well despite the blackout curtains. A previous guest was apparently frustrated by this & tore part of the outside curtain down (it was left in this condition) in an effort to block the light. All in all, this was no 3-star hotel.
