Homy Hotel in Padang”
Staying at Wisma Mutiara Hotel is like staying at our home. The atmosphere is very nice and the hotel is very close to Siti Nurbaya bridge, the most famous bridge in Padang. There are also plenty of local famous restaurant in the short distance from the hotel. If you look for simple and homy hotel, this hotel is your choice.

Comfortable & Cheap Hotel”
I didnt stay a night at the hotel as i just used the room to leave my luggage and take showers before going to Minangkabau International Airport.. The hotel itself is nice, clean and cheap but the location is a bit far from Kota Padang. Need to use google map to find the hotel. But overall the taxi manage to find the hotel.

Pleasant unwinding before heading home”
The hotel is a bit out of the way, as it's not in central Padang but a good choice to unwind personally for me after the adventures in Bukit Tinggi. Service was excellent, the night conversations were a good winding down to the evening. The beach being just around the corner was a bonus. There was a lot of activity on-going there in the beach, it was nice to just sit and watch life. All in all, Wisma Mutiara Hotel is an ideal place to just kick back, relax, read and take it easy.

i feel homey when i stay in the hotel, rooms are clean, staff is very friendly, hot water is available at any time. the cons is only the breakfast, we only get 4 pcs of bread and 1 pot of tea for every room so it's kind of not enough for me & my friends :) overall i will come back to this hotel again when i come to padang.

Cheap and good but staff didn't speak a single word in english.”
It was very cheap and for this price the hotel was more than okay. The only negative thing was in my opinion that not even one guy of the staff spoke english. That was a little bit annoying but in the end we although could book our travel continuation with them.

Small hotel but very clean and good service”
we went in two couples renting 2 rooms for two nights. Initially the tourist guide we hired rather difficult to find the hotel as the hotel actually a house turned to be 11 rooms hotel. It is a budget hotel but very clean and the interior is well done. The food for breakfast was only one menu, a pre pack from outsite I suggest. We could request for preference hot drink either tea or coffee. To me it is ok for budget traveller like us.

Clean rooms, but bad last impression”
The rooms are clean, but they provide a towel instead of a blanket (which is too small for 2 people). The staff is trying to be helpful, but not used to tourists asking about activities in the area. Therefore, you might get wrong information at the hotel. The hotel booked a bus to Bukittinggi for us, which was supposed to pick us up at 9 am, but did arrive at 8.30. Instead of letting us finish our breakfast, the hotel staff asked us to leave immediately 3 times, which left a very bad last impression.

Feel exactly like home. Breakfast is the same for 2 days which is bread and tea/coffee. Near to china town, famous durian ice-cream shop, Siti Nurbaya bridge, Pantai Padang and chinese temple. Get a taxi to bring you around and managed to complete all in half day. Cons is a lot of mosquito in the room. Overall is good with the price you pay.

Not Central, but not too far either”
a quiet family run hotel, situated in a surburban area with a 10 min. walk to the beach or centre of town. the hotel resembles a villa which, in fact it was, until a couple of years ago. the room i had- vip b_ was large with a large bathroom (and hot water!), very clean and for indonesian standards cheap. the staff were very helpful, although not all spoke english. i enjoyed my stay here

This is a house that change into a 11 rooms hotel. The location quiet far from the city and very quiet, good for those who are looking for quitness. Clean room and bathroom ( but some of the rooms don't have inside bathroom).

ok family run place”
spent a night here in transit to mentawais for a surf trip. the place was a bit strange, the bathroom didnt have a shower so we had to use the bucket which is used for the toilet to shower which wasnt very pleasant.!! the beds and room were clean, air con and hot drinking water a plus. it is within walking distance (20 min or 5 min by motorbike) to the downtown area with eating and shopping etc. staff was friendly and wifi was good, breakfast was sparse- pandan toast

The staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, but had some mosquitos. The bathroom was very big. The internet was stable and quick. The breakfast was very basic, just toast and tea. The location is between the town and the river so easy to go either place.

Nice homestay”
Local area, friendly staff. I actually extended 2 more days with recption. On my day of departure, I had to catch an international flight scheduled at 8am, they booked taxi to airport for me and woke me up at 5:30! Good service!

It's a old house renovated to be like a hostel with 11 rooms. Mostly the room is without a bathroom inside. Have to use the sharing bathroom outside. Location is considered good.

It's basic but it's clean. For the price you can't expect much but the location is good, the staff helpful, the beds are comfortable and breakfast is included. Great for less than 10USD.
