              Hotel in serious need of improved management!”

              Room not clean, discarded used chewing gum by the side of the bed, room noisy from party in adjacent room, restaurant only offered one choice of meal, with large rats walking around the terrace area adjoining the kitchen.

              Loud music early in the morning :O”

              We stay here for one night because this hotel is close to the airport. The room is big, many mosquito, and early in the moring, some people do exercise with loud music.

              Declining into disrepair”

              close to airport with free shuttle; friendly staff; large room

              This hotel has the potential to be very good, particularly as an overnight stop for families enroute to Wakatobi. However, the grounds are not well kept and, although we were told the hotel is only 4 years old, it feels as if the hotel is falling into disrepair. None of the four rooms my team had could get wifi; it was only available in the lobby. The food was poor. My room had no kettle or tv remote. Staff were doing their best. We are regular visitors to Kendari. We tried the hotel as the Swissbel was full; we probably won't stay here again.

              Close to the airport”

              Proximity of the airport, nice garden

              We stayed one night in this hotel, arriving late in the afternoon and checking out early in the morning. Actually very few english is spoken at the hotel, so brush up your Bahasa Indonesia to arrange a pickup at the airport. We got a huge deluxe room, clean and comfortable. There were no view but at night it's not such a mess. The generator was a bit noisy. In the morning we took a good indonesian breakfast and got a free transport to the airport. Overall we were happy with this stay at Wonua Monapa
