Suited us perfectly for Otago Uni Open Days”
We booked here for Otago Uni Open Days and the location was perfect, only a 5 minute walk from campus. We got a two bedroom apartment and it was huge - more than enough space for us all to spread out. It had a couple of heaters and it was very warm and cosy. The shower pressure was amazing and didn't seem to run out of hot water. Our room was serviced every day and topped up with fresh towels, teabags, coffee, etc. The only thing we feel could be improved would be to double glaze the windows as the noise traffic was atrocious (our apartment was on the street front). In the end we rearranged our bedroom so it wasn't under the window and put spare pillows up against the windows to muffle the noise. Despite this, we would still come back and recommend it highly.

Stayed here for over a month with my wife and child, it is a great motel with friendly staff. Very generous proportions and super convenient for a young family, easy access to the University and lots of nice cafes close by.

Nice spacious units”
I like staying here. The units are nice and spacious and clean, beds are comfortable, shower is lovely and powerful. Only downside is that there is usually a party going on somewhere in the neighbourhood.

Chose to sleep downstairs as the queen was up rather a steep set of stairs and bathroom downstairs, single beds bit uncomfortable. Nice private surroundings. Loved that it was fully equipped.

Very helpful staff when we were not happy with something in our room and moved us to accommodate our wishes with no extra cost - they are doing rooms up and the done up ones are good - ask for a renovated room - the non renovated ones are not so good in the bathrooms . Good position - budget to standard rooms.

However, the wifi was extremely slow and frustrating, not great if you're staying for work. The shower in the bathroom is also quite annoying, extremely slow. There should be at least two pans for cooking.

Plenty of potential but unfortunately the rooms are looking very tired and in desperate need of a renovation. If sleeping in the rooms at ground level, be prepared for plenty of noise from the room above.

Spacious apartment, noisy neighbours”
The 2 bedroom apartment is very big, which is nice. The bathroom needs to be updated. As does the uncomfortable sofa. The kitchen is quite large. The beds are comfortable. One of the surrounding buildings is student housing, I think. Both the Wednesday night and the Thursday night there was loud music. It stopped at 9:30-ish PM the first night. At the time of writing it's nearly 9:30PM, so I'm hoping it will be quiet soon. There's plenty of supermarkets in the area, so you can do your own cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The kids liked the outside play area which is right in front of the apartment.

It was very cold, the heater we were given only run for about 10 seconds then stopped.Big gap above outside door, Shower walls falling apart and very little pressure.
